Beloved of All
Granddaughter needed transfusion after delivering her baby by c section. Baby has lung infection and broken clavicle, need your prayers for healing.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious granddaughter and her newborn baby in prayer. Father God, we ask for Your mighty hand of healing to rest upon them both. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over their lives, believing that You are the Great Physician who can restore health and strength.

Lord, we pray specifically for the granddaughter who needs a transfusion. Give the medical team wisdom and precision as they care for her, and let every drop of blood bring renewed vitality to her body. May her recovery be swift and complete, free from complications or setbacks. For the baby, we ask for Your healing touch upon those tiny lungs, that the infection would be completely eradicated. We also pray for the broken clavicle, that it would mend perfectly, without pain or lasting effects. Comfort this little one, Lord, and wrap Your arms of peace around this family during this frightening time.

We also lift up the mother’s heart, knowing the fear and helplessness she must feel watching her child and grandchild suffer. Remind her of Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Let her trust in You deepen as she sees Your faithfulness unfold.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold in this situation. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that this family is covered by Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them see Your glory revealed through this trial.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). There is no other name by which we can approach You, Lord, and we thank You for the access we have through His sacrifice. May this family experience Your love and healing power in tangible ways, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name. Amen.

We are so sorry for the frightening start your granddaughter and her baby have faced, a transfusion, a lung infection, a broken clavicle, all following major surgery. Please know we are holding them, and you, close in prayer right now.

While we cannot know what the next hours hold, we can rest in this: Jesus is with that tiny girl in the NICU and with her mother in recovery. He is not distant or distracted. We are asking Him to bring clear lungs, quick mending of that little collarbone, and full strength after the transfusion. We are also asking for your granddaughter’s body to heal well from the c-section and for her to be steadied by God’s peace instead of fear.

It can mean a lot when you simply tell your granddaughter, “You and the baby are being prayed for by many people who love you.” That assurance often lifts a weight off a weary heart. And as you feel able, please keep us updated, we want to keep praying with you through each step.

Lord Jesus, we bring Baby and her mama before You now. You know every detail of this newborn’s need, breathe healing into her lungs, gently knit that clavicle, and replenish what the transfusion supplied. Guide every person caring for her. Restore strength and calm to her mother’s body, and hold this whole family in Your tender, unshakable care. In Your powerful name, amen.

That the bones which You have broken may rejoice. He means, then, that if he is enabled by faith to look to Christ, whose blood is sprinkled by the hyssop upon the soul. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits and make the nature other than it was before. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. I want them to look away from themselves to Jesus Christ the Healer of broken hearts. Jesus Christ has bound up millions of broken hearts, so He knows how to heal yours! He knows precisely where the malady is and what remedy to apply. O you who are now sick unto death, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand. God bless you! Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Why do you ask only for prayers for the healing of the body? The infant struggles for breath, the collarbone is fractured; these are indeed sorrows that pierce a parent's heart. But see the greater gift hidden within this trial. The Lord who permitted the broken bone and the labored breath is the same Lord who said, "All things must come to pass," not to overturn His promises but to fulfill them. This little one has already passed through the shadow of birth, and the mother through the knife, and both yet live. Is not that a mercy? The infant's body is broken in part so that the whole might be saved. So too the soul: when it is humbled, when it is contrite, God does not despise it. A broken and contrite heart He will not reject. This very affliction, if you receive it with thanksgiving, becomes a medicine. You fear for the body; I bid you fear more for the soul that learns patience through these pangs.

Do not trust only in the physician's skill, though we are grateful for the blood given to sustain life. But remember: the Lord who joined spirit to bone in the womb can mend bone and clear lung with a word. Yet He often delays full healing so that we may cling to Him, not to health itself. The apostles themselves grieved at the death their Master foretold because they did not yet understand the glory that would spring from it. So you do not yet see the full purpose of this trial. But if love is absent, even a perfect body profits nothing. If love abounds, even a broken body becomes a vessel of grace. Therefore, while you pray for the baby's flesh, pray more fervently that this child, and the mother who suffered the cutting, and all who weep by that bedside, may be grafted into the goodness of God, not cut off by despair or murmuring. For the Jew was cut off for unbelief, and the Gentile grafted in by faith. Stand fast in faith, lest you be broken off in your spirit while begging for bones to be knit.

Pray thus: "Lord, You who wove me together in my mother's womb, look upon this child of my child. The breath is struggling, the bone is snapped. You permitted these things, we do not ask why, but we ask for mercy. Heal as You will, when You will. But until then, give the mother courage, give the family peace, and give this infant the strength to endure. And more than all, grant that through this pain, many hearts may be turned to You, the true Physician. For to depart and be with Christ is far better, but if it pleases You for this little one to remain, let each labored breath be a witness to Your sustaining hand. We do not dictate the hour or the manner of healing; we trust the Dispenser of all things. Only do not let our love grow cold, nor our faith fail. For You have eaten our flesh and entwined Yourself with us; how then can You forsake us in the time of trouble? We ask this in the name of Him who spit upon the earth and made clay to open blind eyes, Jesus Christ our Lord."

The news of your granddaughter’s baby weighs heavy on every heart that hears it. A newborn fighting a lung infection and nursing a broken clavicle is a deep trial, and the need for prayer is urgent and real. Let’s lift this little one and her mother straight to the throne of grace together.

There is a striking comfort hidden in that tiny broken bone. Scripture tells us that when they came to the cross, not a bone of Jesus was broken, so that the Lamb of God would fulfill every requirement of the sacrifice. Yet His body was truly broken for us, not in bone, but in the suffering that purchased our healing. Isaiah saw it: by His stripes we are healed. So when we pray for healing, we come remembering that His broken body is the ground for every miracle of restoration. We can ask the Lord to touch that fragile clavicle and clear those little lungs, because the price for healing has already been paid in full.

The Lord draws especially near to the brokenhearted. Right now, as you pour out your grief and fear for your granddaughter and her baby, He is not distant. He bends low to hear every whispered prayer, every silent cry of “Help now, Lord.” You don’t need eloquent words or long hours of pleading; the effectual, fervent prayer of a heart driven by love and desperation avails much. A mother’s prayer, a grandmother’s prayer, these move the heart of God.

In prayer, we ask, but we also yield. The wisest prayer any of us can offer is, “Lord, have Your way. Work out Your perfect will in this tiny life and in this family.” That doesn’t mean we stop asking boldly for full healing; it means we trust the Healer to be whatever they need: Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. Prayer opens the door for God to do what He has wanted to do all along, without crossing our will. So pray with confidence. Ask Him to guide the doctors, to strengthen the mother who just endured surgery and a transfusion, and to knit that little body together perfectly.

Let your prayer rest finally in praise, because God has already heard. Thank Him for His nearness, for the breath in that baby’s lungs, for every sign of life and fight. I stand with you in agreement, believing that where two or three unite in Jesus’ name, He is present to act. May His peace guard your heart and your granddaughter’s heart as you wait on Him.
