Pray for me, God should help me get an established labour as I'm expecting baby

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I have been having false contractions but today backache and contractions are increasing. I pray for grace and safe delivery. I don't want c/ section. I want to have good maternal effort during birthing and have a live healthy baby girl. Afterwards, I pray that she should bring unity in my marriage and responsibility to my husband. May God give us all the needs according to His riches

We hear your heart, dear sister, and we join you in lifting this sacred time before the Lord. The journey of childbirth is a profound act of trust in God’s design, and we stand with you in prayer, believing in His power to sustain you and your little one. The discomfort you’re experiencing now is part of the process He has ordained for bringing new life into the world, and we pray for His grace to strengthen you through every contraction.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author of life and the Giver of every good gift. You formed this precious child in her mother’s womb, knitting her together with purpose and love. We ask You now to watch over both mother and baby, guiding them safely through labor and delivery. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or complication, declaring that Your peace will reign in this delivery room. Grant our sister the strength and endurance she needs, that she may experience the joy of bringing her daughter into the world through the natural process You designed. Protect her from any medical interventions that are not Your will, and let her labor be a testimony to Your faithfulness.

We also lift up her marriage, Lord. Children are indeed a blessing from You, and we pray that this little girl will be a unifying force in her parents’ relationship. Soften both of their hearts to love and serve one another as You intended, reflecting the selfless love of Christ. Give her husband a deep sense of responsibility, that he may lead his family with wisdom, humility, and devotion to You. Provide for every need, physical, emotional, and spiritual, according to Your riches in glory, for You are a good Father who delights in meeting the needs of Your children.

Scripture reminds us in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." We declare this truth over this child, trusting that You have a beautiful plan for her life. And in Jeremiah 29:11, You promise, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We claim this promise for this family, believing that You will use this child to draw them closer to You and to one another.

Lord, we also want to gently remind our sister that her trust must ultimately rest in You, not in her own strength or preferences. While we pray for a natural delivery, we surrender the outcome to Your perfect will, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours. If medical intervention becomes necessary, we ask that You give her peace and wisdom to accept it as part of Your plan. Help her to remember that her worth and her child’s life are secure in You, regardless of the circumstances.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, the One who bore our sorrows and carries our burdens. May His presence fill this delivery room, and may His angels surround this family with protection and peace. We declare that this child will be born healthy, whole, and full of life, and that she will grow up to know and love You. Strengthen this mother’s faith, Lord, and let her experience Your love in a tangible way during this sacred time. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, dear sister. He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. This child is a gift from Him, and He will equip you for the journey ahead. Trust in His timing, lean on His strength, and remember that He is working all things together for your good. You are not alone, we are praying for you, and above all, the Lord Himself is your ever-present help.

We are holding you and your little girl in our hearts as these contractions grow stronger. Waiting for labor to become established can be exhausting and disorienting, especially when false starts have already tired you. We are asking God to fill your body with steady strength and your spirit with a deep, calming sense of His presence right now.

As the backache and contractions intensify, please do not hesitate to reach out to your doctor or midwife with what you are feeling, that is not a failure of faith but a wise step in caring for the life God is bringing into the world. They are there to help guide you through exactly this part of the journey.

You have shared such tender hopes: for a healthy baby girl, for a birth marked by good maternal effort, and for the healing and unity she might bring to your home. It makes sense that you are yearning for your husband to step more fully into his role. We are praying with you for that, but first, lean into this present moment. As you navigate each wave, you are not just waiting for a baby to change things, you are actively laboring with the God who knit her together. May you find even small moments of holy assurance between each contraction, knowing you are held securely.

Jesus, we ask You to establish this labor and carry mother and child safely through delivery. Grant her the grace she has pleaded for, efficient, effective effort and a live, healthy baby girl in her arms. Please guard them both from fear and complication. In Your perfect timing, we also trust You for the deeper work only You can do: bringing unity, responsibility, and provision into this family according to Your riches. Surround this mom with Your peace that outlasts pain. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Prayers for a safety and healthy delivery, and to strength love and bond in this marriage. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The work of your hands in this hour of travail, and the desire for a natural delivery, may be lifted to the Lord who establishes all works founded upon His truth. He will establish the work of your hands for you; yes, He will establish the work of your hands. No profession, no form of labor, no walk of life, no publicity, no retirement in which the Christian is not, in some measure, exposed, and this great labor of motherhood is no exception. Cast this burden upon Him, for it little matters whether you have no burden and no strength, or a heavy burden and great strength, He will give the strength equal to the day.

Yet take heed: sickness and sorrow of themselves are no helps to salvation. Pain and poverty are not Evangelists. Disease and despair are not Apostles. Place no hope in that direction. If there were years of pain, it would be only purgative in name, for suffering cannot cleanse from sin. Do not set your hope upon the child to bring unity to your marriage or responsibility to your husband, as though these graces could flow from any merely human birth. That were to trust in a false hope, and there is no hope in that. It has in it no trace of submission, no touch of faith, no breath of love. There is nothing evangelical about it, it is legal all through, and therefore, worthless.

But there IS hope! Here is no shortness of supply, no illiberality of gift, come as you are! Unto Him will you cry, O Lord my Rock. He has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you! When you are brought low and feel you have no power of any kind, then look to Him whose honor is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep. All that His heavenly Father gave His hands securely keep. He must convey even the smallest boat safe into the port of Paradise. Amidst the wreck of matter and the crash of worlds, safe, safe, safe and near our God and blessed eternally shall you be. The fountain flows freely and richly for you, who, having nothing in yourself, are willing to have everything in Christ Jesus. In such an hour may such an oracle as this come rolling sweetly into your soul to cheer and comfort you: and may the Lord grant you a living answer to your cry, establishing your faith upon His downright truth, and supplying all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
