🤺 Armor of God for Ourselves 1st, Eph 6:10-17, Then for All Believers, and Utterance Given to Proclaim Mystery of Gospel Boldly, Eph 6:10-20...

Beloved Warrior
🙇🏻 Father, thank You for The Word and Holy Spirit that instruct us, 2 Tim 3:16-17, John 14:26, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot stand against, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, James 4:7, resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist AND take up Your Armor and stand against, stand, stand firm against the schemes of darkness, by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil for the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, in Jesus' Name.

We stand together in agreement with your powerful declaration, lifting up the full armor of God as our defense and strength in this spiritual battle. The Word of God is clear, our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the dark forces of this world, and it is only through Christ’s authority and the armor He provides that we can stand firm.

We first gird ourselves with the belt of truth, for Jesus declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Without truth, we are vulnerable to deception, but in Christ, we walk in the light of His Word. We put on the breastplate of righteousness, not our own, but the righteousness of Christ imputed to us by faith (2 Corinthians 5:21). This righteousness guards our hearts from the accusations of the enemy and keeps us secure in God’s love.

We shod our feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace, ready to carry the good news of salvation to a lost and broken world. As Romans 10:15 reminds us, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!" We take up the shield of faith, trusting in God’s promises to extinguish every fiery dart of doubt, fear, and temptation. Our faith is not in ourselves but in the One who is faithful and true (Revelation 19:11).

We place the helmet of salvation upon our heads, protecting our minds with the assurance of our redemption in Christ. No weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), for we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). And we wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, speaking it boldly in every situation, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).

But we do not stop at putting on the armor for ourselves. We intercede for all believers, that they too would stand firm in the faith. We pray that utterance would be given to the saints to proclaim the mystery of the Gospel with boldness, as Paul did even while in chains (Ephesians 6:19-20). The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37-38), and we must be unashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes (Romans 1:16).

Father, we submit ourselves fully to You, resisting the devil so that he will flee from us (James 4:7). We stand in the authority of Jesus’ name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Strengthen us, Lord, to walk in Your truth, to live righteously, and to proclaim Your Gospel without fear. May Your church arise in unity, clothed in Your armor, advancing Your kingdom against the gates of hell. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We are moved by the way you have saturated this request in the Word, praying the very armor of God over yourself and all believers. That you began with your own standing, acknowledging that we all must first be strengthened in the Lord before we can stand for others, is both wise and humbling. You have not asked a question but have laid out a rich, Scripture-formed prayer, and we gladly join you in it.

One thing we have found helps sustain this kind of prayer over time is to speak these truths aloud with at least one other trusted believer. Whether a spouse, a prayer partner, or a small group, declaring the armor together, girding each other with truth, faith, and the gospel of peace, seems to sharpen our spiritual alertness and fan boldness for the gospel. It also guards against the isolation that the enemy would use to weaken our resolve. Perhaps there is someone you could invite into that rhythm weekly, simply praying through Ephesians 6 for each other and for the church.

Father, thank You for this dear prayer warrior who has taken up Your armor on behalf of Your people. Strengthen them in the inner being to stand firm, feet planted in Your peace, shield raised in faith, mouth filled with Your Word. Grant them the very boldness they ask for, not only for themselves but for all the saints, so that the mystery of the Gospel is spoken without fear, in the power of Your Spirit. Protect them from discouragement, and let the truth they have prayed become their lived reality. In Jesus’ name.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

This prayer is lifted up in a right spirit, and I would not dampen the flame of such holy desire. Yet, let me press this upon your heart: to put on the armour is not a thing of words only, but of living power. The devil is the cunning ape of God, and he will gladly see you go through the motions while your soul lies unarmed, lulled by a false peace. I dread to give peace to anyone upon any subject at the expense of the Truth of God. One prayer I often pray, "Lord, let me know the worst of my case." For Joab, in the day of Solomon's vengeance, hoped for safety at the horns of the altar, but found no refuge there. Let not your confidence rest in the form of this supplication, but in the God who girds you with real strength.

Now, concerning intercessory prayer, you have struck a note dear to the heart of God. It is the sweetest prayer He ever hears, for it breathes the very Spirit of Christ, who ever lives to make intercession. Never was there a prophet like Moses, and yet how he pleaded for the people! And Samuel considered it a sin to cease praying for the Lord’s flock. Do you desire an open door for the mystery of the Gospel? Then couple your own standing with fervent petition for all saints. The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. In that same measure, be not moved away from the hope of the Gospel for yourself or for the church. The covenant stands forever sure, and he that believes on the Son has everlasting life. Stand fast on that ground, and then plead with holy Jacob’s definiteness, name before God the very Esaus that threaten, and lay hold of the promises as a man grasping the horns of the altar by faith.

But remember, that bold utterance you seek comes only as the overflow of a heart that has first been mastered by the Truth. The glorious Gospel of the happy God, have you considered how happy God must be? If that Gospel has truly come to you, not in word only but in power, it will have slain your carnal enmity and exalted God in your inmost soul. Then, and only then, will your mouth be bold to make known the mystery. The world will try to shake you from this, either by the dazzle of intellect or the venom of persecution. Yet, he that overcomes shall be made a pillar, unmovable. Stand, therefore, having your loins girt about with Truth, and take the shield of faith; for the fiery darts will fall thickest after times of sweetest fellowship, even as they fell on our Master in the wilderness. Quench them with the sure Word, for the devil can quote Scripture too, but the Spirit-taught sword-thrust is his overthrow. Go on, then, watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints, and God, even our own God, shall bless you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
