🤺Armor of God Eph 6:10-20, Ourselves, Our Family, Leaders, Churches, Ministry Partners, All Believers; Utterance to Proclaim Mystery of Gospel Boldly

Beloved Warrior
🙇🏻 Father, thank You for The Word and Holy Spirit that instruct us, 2 Tim 3:16-17, John 14:26, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot stand against, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, James 4:7, resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist AND take up Your Armor and stand against, stand, stand firm against the schemes of darkness, by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil for the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, in Jesus' Name.

We stand together in agreement with this powerful declaration of faith, lifting up the full armor of God as our defense and weaponry in the spiritual battles we face. The Word of God is clear, our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of darkness, and we must be equipped with His truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the sword of the Spirit to stand firm.

We first apply this armor to ourselves, recognizing that we cannot effectively intercede for others if we are not first grounded in Christ. Just as Christ overcame temptation in the wilderness before beginning His ministry, we too must walk in victory over sin and deception before we can minister to others. We submit ourselves to the authority of Jesus’ name, for there is no other name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. Without Christ, we are powerless against the enemy’s schemes, but in Him, we are more than conquerors.

We pray now, putting on each piece of the armor with intentional faith:

Belt of Truth, Father, we gird ourselves with Your truth, rejecting every lie of the enemy. May Your Word dwell richly in us, exposing deception and anchoring us in reality. Let us walk in integrity, speaking truth in love, for Your truth sets us free.

Breastplate of Righteousness, Lord, we put on the righteousness of Christ, covering our hearts with Your holiness. Guard us from sin and self-righteousness, that we may live uprightly before You. Where we have failed, cleanse us by the blood of Jesus and restore us to right standing with You.

Shoes of the Gospel of Peace, Jesus, we ready our feet to carry the good news of Your peace. Where there is strife, let us be peacemakers. Where there is fear, let us proclaim Your victory. May we never shrink back from sharing the hope we have in You.

Shield of Faith, Holy Spirit, we take up the shield of faith to extinguish every fiery dart of doubt, fear, and accusation. Strengthen our trust in You, that we may stand unshaken in the face of adversity.

Helmet of Salvation, Father, we secure our minds with the assurance of our salvation in Christ. Protect us from spiritual confusion, despair, and the enemy’s attempts to steal our hope. Let the knowledge of our redemption in Jesus guard our thoughts and emotions.

Sword of the Spirit, Lord, we wield Your Word as our offensive weapon. Teach us to use Scripture rightly, declaring Your promises and rebuking the enemy’s attacks. May Your truth pierce the darkness and bring light to those in bondage.

Prayer in the Spirit, We commit to praying at all times, remaining vigilant in intercession for ourselves, our families, our leaders, the Church, and all believers. Grant us boldness to proclaim the mystery of the Gospel, that many would come to know Jesus as Lord.

We resist the devil and his schemes, standing firm in the authority of Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment will be condemned. The gates of hell will not prevail against the Church, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.

We pray for every believer to walk in the fullness of this armor, that the Gospel would advance without hindrance. May we be ambassadors of Christ, speaking boldly and living victoriously, all for Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’re grateful to be standing with you in this prayer. What strikes us about your request is the sheer steadiness of it, not panic in the face of the enemy, but a calm, deliberate act of taking up what God has already provided. That kind of settled faith, naming the armor piece by piece and trusting the One who gives it, is itself a form of resistance the devil cannot match.

You’ve anchored this in a truth we all need to live inside: the battle belongs to the Lord, and His armor is real, present, and sufficient. When we pray this way over ourselves first, like Christ overcoming in the wilderness before His public ministry, we’re not being selfish. We’re simply receiving what we’ll need if we’re going to intercede for others without being pulled under.

A gentle encouragement from Scripture’s own counsel on warfare: stay centered on the Commander, not the darkness. It’s easy, when we’re watchful and alert, to become preoccupied with what the enemy is doing. But the shield, the breastplate, the sword, each piece turns our attention back to Christ’s finished work and our secure position in Him. Your prayer already reflects that balance, and we simply want to reinforce it.

And on the matter of bold utterance for the mystery of the Gospel, we join you fully. Not only for leaders and those in chains, as Paul wrote, but for ordinary saints opening their mouths in everyday places. Sometimes the boldest thing we do is speak simply about Jesus when it would be easier to stay quiet.

We’re praying with you now:

Lord Jesus, we thank You that in You we are not outmatched or outmaneuvered. Strengthen our friend in the inner person, steady their heart, clear their mind, and keep their feet planted in Your peace. Let the truth already prayed become a lived reality in their home, among their loved ones, and throughout the church they serve. Grant them holy boldness in the moments that call for it, and fill them with a quiet confidence that rests not in their own grip on the armor but in Your grip on them. In Your mighty name, amen.

The pleading of the Word in prayer is the surest sign the Spirit of God is moving you to lay hold of the promises. You cry out for utterance to proclaim the mystery of the Gospel boldly, even as you buckle on the belt of Truth, and this is a right and blessed pattern. Never let it be said that prayer is the soft retiring from the conflict; no, it is the very breath of the soldier who stands in the evil day. In taking the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, you have handled the weapon the Master Himself wielded in the wilderness when He met the enemy's perversions of Scripture with the plain, unvarnished command, "It is written." Remember well that the devil is the cunning ape of God, and if he can paint a false peace upon the face of a lie, he will do it with a text twisted to his purpose. Therefore, stand fast, having girded your waist with the Truth, the whole Truth, nothing but the Truth, as you are doing.

What comfort there is in seeing that you have not come timidly to the throne, but boldly, pleading the very words given by inspiration! You have declared your ways, your weaknesses, and your desires, and you have heard the voice of the King in His own proclamation. This Gospel is indeed the "Gospel of the happy God," backed by the authority of the King eternal, immortal, invisible. Let no dazzle of intellect or fresh assault of error move you away from the hope of it. If the Spirit has convinced you of your natural unacceptableness, and driven you to hide yourself in Christ alone, then you have put on the breastplate of His righteousness, and you are accepted in the Beloved. A false peace would tell you to be content without the knowledge of God, but this armor begins with Truth because God forbid that we should prophesy smooth things for ourselves while the sword of justice is unsheathed.

You are wise to first place the armor upon your own soul, even as our Lord overcame the tempter for His own sake before going forth to his public ministry. After times of sweetest fellowship, expect the battle to rage, for the enemy is the God of the valleys as well as the God of the hills. He would have you think that your strength is for one terrain only, but this is a lie from the father of lies. He is the God of the valleys, the God of your present weakness, your domestic trials, your hidden wrestling. The shield of faith quenches the fiery dart that would make you doubt His power in the low places. The helmet of salvation secures your mind not only for the heights, but for the dust and the din.

And now you stretch out a loving hand to wrestlers in the troubled sea, praying for leaders, churches, and every believing one. This is the chain of grace, prayer being often the shadow of God’s coming blessing. Ask for utterance for them, for the true Gospel is no hidden gospel. It is a proclamation from the King, and though ministers may be in chains, the Word of God is not bound. The Gospel must shine forth, for it is the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Covet for yourself and for all the saints the open mouth, the holy boldness that speaks of the mystery with the experimental accent of a man who has been alone with God and then states his testimony in public. Stand, therefore, not in your own might, but in the power of His might, upon the Rock that shall stand forever sure.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is good that you have armed yourselves with prayer, calling upon the whole armor of God. For this war is not against flesh and blood, but against devils, against those incorporeal powers. And note well: the shield of faith is that which first receives the assaults of the adversary and preserves all the rest uninjured. So long as faith is right and the life is right, the armor remains untouched. Faith is a shield that must cover the whole frame; let it not be scanty, leaving any part exposed.

You have remembered rightly the pattern of our Lord, who first overcame the devil for His own sake in the wilderness. So also the righteous in every age have quenched all the fiery darts of the evil one. When base desires or perplexing reasonings assault you, saying, "Is there a resurrection? Is there a judgment?", hold forth your faith in the good things to come, and those darts will perish. It is this faith that overcomes, as it did for Stephen, whose face shone like an angel's, being full of faith and power.

And when you pray for utterance, to speak the mystery of the gospel boldly, know that this too is according to the will of God. The gospel has its origin from God becoming man, being crucified, and rising again. Make ready the way for the good tidings of peace: let your life and conduct be pure, a preparation worthy of the gospel. Do nothing unworthy of that peace you have received. Then, even if men array themselves against you, or the world, or the devil himself, they will not stand against you. For the things that seem to oppose become to you the procurers of crowns. If you suffer loss or evil report, you gain greater lustre in God’s sight. If they threaten death, they twine for you a crown of martyrdom. No one is truly against you when God is for you.

Therefore, stand firm. Let your waist be girded with truth, your breastplate the righteousness of a sincere and innocent life. Then take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word. And above all, cover all with the shield of faith, which quenches every dart. For nothing can be done against the one whose life is hid with Christ, for the battle is God’s, and His wisdom turns all plots to our salvation and glory.
