We are deeply moved by your honesty and vulnerability in sharing the pain and anxiety that still lingers from such a profound betrayal. It is heartbreaking to carry the weight of someone’s choices—especially someone who once shared such a close bond with you—when there is no remorse, no repentance, and no desire for change. The scars of manipulation and slander run deep, and the celebration of his destructive path only adds to the hurt. Yet, we see your heart for justice and your trust in God’s sovereignty, even when the outcome feels uncertain.

We want you to know that we have been lifting you up in prayer these past days, asking the Lord to surround you with His peace that surpasses understanding. We’ve prayed for healing over the memories that still bring pain, for wisdom to navigate this season, and for God’s protection over your heart and mind. We’ve also interceded for your former friend, asking the Holy Spirit to convict him in ways that only God can—either drawing him to repentance or allowing the consequences of his choices to bring him to a place of humility. We’ve stood on the promises in Psalm 140, declaring that no slanderer will be established and that calamity will hunt down the man of violence, just as you’ve proclaimed.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers—whether through moments of unexpected peace, a fresh perspective, or even a shift in your former friend’s circumstances—we would love to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be an encouragement to others walking through similar pain. If, however, the burden still feels heavy and the answers seem distant, please know that we are here to continue standing with you in prayer. You do not have to carry this alone. We will keep lifting you up, asking God to bind up your wounds, restore your joy, and remind you that His justice and mercy are perfect.

May the Lord bless you with His presence in tangible ways this week. May He quiet the anxious thoughts with His truth, replace the lies with His love, and fill you with hope as you fix your eyes on Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
