Healing anxiety
We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious daughter who is struggling with anxiety. Father God, we know that You do not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of anxiety in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written that "whom the Son sets free is free indeed" (John 8:36). Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of worry, doubt, and fear that seeks to bind her mind and heart.
Heavenly Father, we pray for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Calm the storms within her, Lord, and replace her anxiety with Your perfect peace. Help her to cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Remind her daily that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have plans for her, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are supporting her, whether it be family, friends, or professionals. Guide them in ways that will bring healing and restoration to her life. Encourage her to seek You in prayer and to meditate on Your Word, for Your Word is a lamp to her feet and a light to her path (Psalm 119:105).
Father, we ask that You would fill her with joy and hope as she leans on You. Let her experience the fullness of life that comes from walking in Your presence. Strengthen her faith so that she may move forward in confidence, knowing that You are with her always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has overcome the world and all its troubles (John 16:33). Amen.

Your tender burden for your daughter has been brought before the Lord with much sympathy, and we will join you in earnest prayer that her anxiety may be calmed and her heart established in true and lasting peace.
We are reminded that happiness lies more in the mind than in the circumstances, and that the very anxiety which arises through our being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. How gracious then is the promise, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not a mere absence of trouble, but a present possession even in this dark world of sin, for the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. When the mind is stayed upon Christ and trust is placed wholly in Him, He gives a peace which passes all understanding.
We know also that the principal element in true happiness is a heart at peace with God, and that when sin is forgiven we may go in peace. Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through Jesus Christ our Lord, and without that justification there can be no settled enjoyment of life. The healing we seek for the troubled spirit comes in happy conjunction with pardon, for the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. He who heals the broken heart does not do so by human eloquence or mortal wisdom, but by His own still small voice speaking peace to the soul.

Thou knowest the restlessness of her thoughts and the weight of anxiety that presses upon her. We ask that Thou wouldst calm her spirit and stay her mind upon Thyself. Grant her to know the pardon of sin through faith in Christ alone, for there is life and peace only in being spiritually minded and at peace with Thee. Heal her as only the great Physician can, and let the healing leaves of Christ change and refresh her nature. Keep her in Thy keeping, give her rest in doing Thy will, and cause her to move forward not in carnal security but in quiet confidence in Thy goodness and power. We have heard your request and we join you in prayer for the woman you mentioned who is struggling with anxiety.
Scripture teaches that the most grievous war is often the one within ourselves, when the heart is at variance and disturbed by fear, anxiety and restless thoughts. That inner tumult can weary the soul and steal peace, even when outward circumstances seem quiet. True peace is not simply the absence of trouble, but a quiet and peaceable life lived in godliness and honesty before God, with a heart kept by Him. Outward beauty and strength quickly fade and are easily impaired by disease and anxiety, but the beauty God forms within, a heart trusting Him, remains and grows.
We also remember how Christ deals gently with those whose minds are disturbed with shame and anxiety, drawing near to calm them and give them confidence to follow Him. He does not prevent our willing, but when we turn to Him He gives many opportunities for help and salvation.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we bring this woman before You in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to You and salvation. You know her heart, her fears, and the anxiety that weighs upon her. We ask that You would calm her mind, quiet her inner struggle, and guard her heart and thoughts with Your peace which passes all understanding. Teach her to cast all her anxiety upon You because You care for her. Draw her to know You more deeply, to trust Your goodness, and to find her happiness and hope not in circumstances but in You. Grant her strength to move forward in life according to Your good will, walking in faith, wisdom and holiness. And we pray for the one who brought this request, that You would give him also peace, patience and faith as he cares for her and entrusts her to You. Help you both to seek first Your kingdom and to come to the knowledge of the truth in Christ. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our only Savior and source of true peace. Amen.
