We join with you in lifting up your friend’s health before the Lord, trusting in His healing power and provision. The Bible reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We believe that God works through both prayer and practical means, such as medicine, to bring restoration.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray that You would guide the hands of the doctors and medical professionals attending to this dear one, granting them wisdom and clarity as they prescribe treatment. Provide the necessary antibiotics and medical care to combat this illness, and strengthen their body to receive healing. We declare Your promise in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Lord, we trust in Your goodness and mercy, believing that You are the Great Physician who restores health and brings wholeness.
We also encourage your friend to seek the Lord in this time, drawing near to Him for comfort and strength. Remind them of Your presence, as it says in Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* May they feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
If there are any spiritual strongholds or areas of sin that may be hindering their healing, we pray that the Holy Spirit would reveal them so they can repent and receive full restoration. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in the name of Jesus and command it to leave. We stand on Your Word, which declares in 1 Peter 2:24, *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed."*
Continue to trust in the Lord’s timing and plan, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him. We pray for patience, endurance, and faith as this healing process unfolds. May your friend experience Your love and grace in a tangible way, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name. Amen.
