Disciple of Prayer
Dear heavenly father, there is a man named ### that just came into our life a week or 2 ago. I am feeling uncomfortable with him around my son who is autistic. He was also dishonest about certain information he documented. My son is regressing asking for certain things, he stopped wanting. I pray you remove ### as quickly as he appeared right now in the name of Jesus. I do not trust him, so may i have favor with all involved getting him removed, right now. In Jesus name I pray. Thank you for allowing this prayer to manifest and so it is. AMEN

We join with you in prayer in Jesus' name and we share your concern for your son. As a parent you have been given a sacred trust to protect your child, and that instinct to guard him when something feels wrong is a gift from God. We hear your distress over this man who has recently come into your lives, your concern about dishonesty in what he documented, and the regression you are seeing in your precious son.

The Word reminds us how precious your son is in the eyes of the Lord. Psalm 127:3 says, Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. And Jesus spoke with strong warning about the care of little ones in Matthew 18:6, Whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hanged around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea. God sees your son, He loves him deeply, and He calls us to watch over the vulnerable with diligence.

Dishonesty is also something God takes seriously. Proverbs 12:22 tells us, Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. When someone is entrusted with care, especially for a child with special needs, truthfulness and integrity are essential. It is right for you to be concerned and to seek accountability when documentation is not truthful. We also understand how painful it is to see your son regressing and asking for things he had moved past. God understands the work and love you have poured into helping him grow, and we pray for restoration and peace for him.

We also thank you for bringing this request before the Father in the name of Jesus, for John 14:6 reminds us, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us.

We pray together now for you and your son.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this mother and her son to You. We ask for Your hand of protection to be upon this child. Cover him under Your wings as Psalm 91:1 promises, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Let no harm come near him and let Your peace guard his heart and mind. We ask for healing and restoration where there has been regression, and for comfort for his spirit when he feels unsettled. Lord, we ask for wisdom for his mother, for James 1:5 promises, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Give her clear discernment, courage to speak, and words that are heard. If it is Your will, remove this man from their lives as quickly as he appeared, and do not allow influence that is not good for this child to remain. We pray for favor with all those involved, with supervisors, case workers, and decision makers, that truth would be made clear and that righteous action would be taken swiftly. Expose any dishonesty and establish truth and accountability. Help this mother to document carefully, to seek counsel, and to advocate boldly for her son while trusting You. We pray for Your peace that surpasses understanding to guard her heart as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We trust You to act for the good of this child and to make Your will known. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the discernment God has given you while also taking practical steps. Keep a written record of what was documented dishonestly and what you have observed in your son's behavior, share your concerns clearly and promptly with those who have authority over this man's placement, and bring a trusted advocate, family member, pastor, or counselor with you when you meet with them. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Continue to commit this to the Lord in prayer, but also persist in seeking a resolution through the proper channels until you have peace that your son is safe and well cared for. God is your defender and He will give you strength to stand for your child.

We are praying with you in this, and we hear how heavy this has felt so quickly. Wanting to protect your son and trusting that uneasy feeling you have as his mom is a good and right instinct, especially when you are noticing changes in him and questions about honesty in what was documented.

You know your son best, and noticing that he is asking for things again that he had moved past is important information. It makes sense you would want clarity and quick action.

One steady next step we have found helps in situations like this is to advocate calmly and in writing. It can help to jot down briefly what was documented that seemed dishonest, dates and specifics of what you observed, and the changes you are seeing in your son. Then reach out promptly to the supervisor, case manager, or agency that oversees this person to share those concerns in writing and ask for a review and for guidance on requesting a different provider. If you can, bring a trusted family member, friend, or advocate with you to any meetings so you are not carrying this alone, and keep copies of everything you send.

We are asking God to give you favor, wisdom, and clear direction as you speak up, and to guard your son with peace and stability in the days ahead.

Father, we lift this mom and her son to You. Surround them with protection and peace, give her wisdom and a clear voice as she advocates for her son, and lead those involved to listen well and act with care. Guide her to the right help and support. In Jesus' name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord, and we thank you for watching with such careful love over your son. A parent's watchfulness is a holy trust, and when a child is vulnerable and unable to speak fully for himself, that trust becomes more tender still.

The Lord has a people, and He hears His people when they cry to Him. As it is written, I will say to them which were not My people, You are My people, and they shall say, You are my God. When the Lord says to any, You are My people, their sin is put away and their accents become sweet in His ears. What a choice privilege it is to be thought of and then to be spoken to by the Lord, and more, that God hears us speak when we come as His beloved through Jesus Christ. You have come in the name of Jesus, and that is the only name by which we have access to the Father, for salvation is through Him alone.

You describe uneasiness, dishonesty, and a regression in your son who is precious in the sight of God. Our Lord entered the world as a holy Child, and He bears a special tenderness toward little ones. He is guileless and true, and He calls His people to walk in that same truthfulness and harmlessness, with the wisdom of serpents and the harmlessness of doves. Dishonesty has no place among those who would care for children, and concern for a child's safety is not to be set aside lightly.

Wisdom is man's true path, the compass by which we steer across the trackless waste of life, and the price of wisdom is above rubies. In trying to comprehend all the ways of God we are like a child with a thimble seeking to tell the size of the sea, and our powers are warped by sin. Yet this we know, that trust in God is true wisdom, and if you have but a spark of true faith in Jesus Christ, it is better than a whole volcano full of worldly wisdom. Take your difficulty to the God of Wisdom. He will give you to see what is right and to act with quiet firmness.

Learn also the posture of the weaned child of whom the Psalm speaks, My soul is even as a weaned child. A weaned child thinks nothing of itself, is entirely dependent upon its mother's care, and lies content in its parent's bosom. When Grace comes, our fretting desires lie still, and we do not ask why with a complaining spirit, but believe that in our heavenly Father's dispensations there is a wisdom too deep for us to fathom, a goodness veiled but certain. To lie in the bosom of our God and to trust His care for you and for your son is your comfort now, even as you take wise and lawful steps for protection.

We are a people full of sin and laden with iniquity, yet if any man sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He pleads for His own, and He will not despise the cry of a parent who seeks to guard a child. The Lord has comforted His people, and His people are those who need comfort. He set them apart for Himself from eternity, and He deals with them differently from others, hearing the voice of His own child when He might not heed another. You are the Lord's own child through faith in Christ, so He will hear you. Therefore take your troubles to Him.

We pray with you now.

Heavenly Father, we come through Jesus Christ alone, our Advocate and our righteousness. You see this family, You see this dear son whom You have made and whom You love, and You see this uneasiness and this documented untruth. We ask for Your protection over this child, for peace to his mind and restoration of what has been disturbed. We ask for wisdom and discernment for his parent, and for favor with all who have responsibility in this matter, that they may listen with clear minds and act justly and promptly. Where there has been dishonesty, bring it to light. Where there is risk, set a hedge about this little one. Guide every decision, that what is done may be for the safety and good of the child and in accord with Your holy will. Give comfort to this parent's heart, and let the soul be as a weaned child, content and trusting in Your bosom while also vigilant in duty. We ask not from our own merit, but for Jesus' sake, in whose name we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek wise counsel, to speak plainly and truthfully to those in proper authority over this care, to keep a careful record of what you have observed, and to keep your son under watchful, loving care. Share your concern with trusted pastors and with those charged with oversight, that nothing may be hidden and that right action may be taken. May the Lord who comforts His people give you peace and a clear path forward.

I have heard your prayer and I join you in bringing this burden before our heavenly Father who sees and protects His children.

It is right to seek the safety and wellbeing of your son, and to be watchful when you sense dishonesty and see signs of regression in him. God has entrusted your son to your care, and your instinct to protect him is given by God. Scripture reminds us that our Father is merciful and near to those who call upon Him, and that He defends the vulnerable.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before You and ask for Your protection over this mother and her son. You know this situation fully, You see what has been hidden and what has been documented dishonestly, and You know the distress this child is experiencing. We ask for Your hand of protection to be upon this boy, to guard his mind and heart and body, and to bring healing where there has been regression and anxiety. Grant peace to him and restore what has been disturbed.

Lord, we ask for wisdom and favor for his mother as she speaks with all those involved. Give her clarity, courage, and a calm voice to speak the truth. Move the hearts of those in authority to listen carefully, to act justly and swiftly, and to make decisions that ensure this child is safe and cared for in a trustworthy environment. If this man is not fit to be near this child, we ask that You would bring about his removal quickly and in a way that prevents further harm. Expose what is dishonest and let truth prevail.

Father, we also ask for Your provision of trustworthy people to surround this family, people who will act with honesty, kindness and genuine care for this child. Strengthen this mother, give her rest, and let her know she is not alone. Lead her in each practical step she should take, and give her support from family, church and community as she advocates for her son.

We ask all this trusting in Your lovingkindness and Your power to uphold all things, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who taught us to call You Father. Amen.

Continue to bring this before the Lord daily, and also take practical steps as you are able. Keep a clear written record of what you have observed, including dates and examples of dishonesty and changes in your son, and share those concerns promptly with the supervisors, case workers or leaders who oversee this man and with trusted advocates in your church or family. Do not remain alone in this, but invite a mature and trusted person to be with you in meetings and to help you ensure your son is safe.

May the Lord give you wisdom, favor and peace as you trust Him, and may He guard your son and restore him to steadiness and joy.
