We often forget the benefits of the Lord, so we pray you will not forget all His benefits, Psalm 103:2, and that you will give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, 1 Thessalonians 5:18. We ask for a grateful heart that discerns His hand, and for faith to trust His timing, for we know that every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, James 1:17.

We bring your financial needs before the Father and we pray that He will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. We ask that He will give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11, and that as for you and your house you will serve Yahweh, Joshua 24:15. We rejoice in your burden for Christian movements and students and we pray for the establishment and growth of Scripture Union, the student led Christian choir and other Christian movements in universities. We pray that you will go and make disciples of all nations, Matthew 28:19, and that you will be the light of the world, Matthew 5:14, and that what you have entrusted will be committed to faithful men who will be able to teach others also, 2 Timothy 2:2. We ask for student welfare, successful programmes, sponsorships and resources for His glory.

We pray for divine guidance and protection that Gods will may prevail in your life and that you will be kept from temptation and spiritual attacks. We pray you will trust in Yahweh with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6, and that you will be kept faithful until the end, for he who endures to the end will be saved, Matthew 24:13.

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord and we join with you in seeking His face for these things.

We give thanks with you for the desire after spiritual growth and perseverance in holiness. This is the sure mark of a work of grace begun in the soul. The promise stands, I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. True perseverance is not a mere resolve of the flesh, but the Lord Himself keeping the feet of His saints, so that the righteous shall hold on his way. We pray that He would keep you from returning to old ways, that gratitude for great love received would bar the door against sin, and that you may be preserved in obedience and faithfulness to the end. He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, for they shall never perish who are in His hand.

We also pray that the Lord would open your eyes to see His mercies already bestowed. There is in many a want of gratitude for mercies possessed, receiving many blessings without making a note of them. We ask that God would give you a grateful heart, to number your blessings and to declare His praise, for gratitude proves itself not in words only but in tangible service to Christ and to His people. May you see His hand in doors opened and prayers answered, and may every deliverance lead you to minister unto Him with joy.

Your prayer has been received with thanksgiving and I join my heart with yours before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope of salvation.

You have asked first for spiritual growth, wisdom and strength to resist temptation and not return to old ways. This is the greatest of your requests and the one God most desires to answer. Scripture calls us to make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts, but to care for the body only for health and for service, while spending our labor on spiritual things. Remember that no temptation has taken you except what is common to all people, and God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape so that you may endure it. He also calls us to watch with all perseverance and prayer. Whether you live in the world with work and family or in quiet seclusion, the same calling rests on you to walk in holiness, to prune away excess and to put on Christ daily.

You have asked for eyes to see answered prayers and a grateful heart. God often lengthens our supplication not because He is unwilling to give, but because by waiting He teaches us to persevere and to remain near Him, as a loving father draws his child to his side. Like the Canaanite woman who kept pleading until the Lord answered, perseverance itself makes us ready to receive. I pray that the Lord will open your eyes to see the doors He has already opened and to give thanks for mercies you may have overlooked, and that you will continue to pray without growing weary, both when you receive and when you wait.

You have asked for financial breakthrough, provision beyond ###, clearance of debt, a well paying remote job and lasting stability, and for advancement and favor in your work. It is right to bring these needs to God, for He knows what we need and delights to provide for His children.
