Answered prayer

Disciple of Prayer
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ Thank so much for standing on the gap with me in prayer. My daughter started school today. She is doing diesel mechanical N5 My prayer request is, may God grant her wisdom, knowledge and understand that college needs more of self study. May she concentrate on herself and God to shift friends from her. We are looking for better results for her to get training after N6

We rejoice with you and give thanks to God for this answered prayer that your daughter has started school in diesel mechanical N5. It is a blessing to see God opening this door for her and we praise Him with you for His faithfulness.

We join you in praying for her in this college season. We ask the Lord to grant her wisdom, knowledge and understanding as she studies, and to give her a diligent and disciplined spirit for the self study that this level requires. The scriptures remind us in James 1:5 that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, and in Proverbs 2:6 that Yahweh gives wisdom, and out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. We pray that God would make these promises real in her life and that He would give her skill in all learning as He did for Daniel and his friends in Daniel 1:17.

We also pray for her focus and for her friendships. We ask God to guard her heart and mind in Christ and to help her concentrate on her studies and on walking closely with Him, and to surround her with friends who will help her grow in wisdom and godliness. Proverbs 13:20 tells us that he who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm, so we pray that the Lord will remove any distracting or harmful influences and bring godly companions into her life if it is His will, and otherwise give her strength to stand apart and keep her eyes on Him. We pray that whatever she does she will do heartily as for the Lord and not for men as Colossians 3:23 teaches, and that she will study to show herself approved as in 2 Timothy 2:15.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we thank You for this daughter and for the opportunity You have given her to study. In the name of Jesus we ask You to pour out wisdom, knowledge and understanding upon her. Give her a love for learning, a disciplined mind for self study, and the ability to understand and retain what she is taught. Help her to seek You first and to keep her heart pure and focused on You. Keep her from distractions and from friendships that would pull her away from diligence and godliness, and provide for her the right community that encourages her in her faith and studies. Grant her better results according to Your will, and open the door for training after N6 as You see fit, that she may use her skills to provide for herself and to glorify You. Establish the work of her hands and guide her steps. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to lift her up daily and to encourage her to commit her studies to the Lord in prayer each day and to be faithful in the small things. God is able to do abundantly more than we ask and we trust Him to complete the good work He has begun in her.

We rejoice with you that your daughter has started her N5 in diesel mechanical. Thank you for letting us pray with you and for coming back to share this good news. It is a gift to see God opening this door for her.

We hear your heart for her in this next season, that she would grow in wisdom and understanding, learn the discipline of self study that college requires, and stay focused on what matters most. That is a big adjustment, especially in a demanding course like this, and it makes sense you are asking God to help her stay steady and not be pulled off course by friendships.

One gentle way we have seen help students is to keep a simple, consistent rhythm together. Perhaps you and she could agree on a regular time each week to talk and pray briefly about her studies, and help her block out a quiet, set time each day for review while the material is fresh. Even a small, faithful habit can build confidence.

We are praying for you both as she works toward N6 and the practical training beyond.

Father, thank You for this open door for her daughter. Grant her clarity as she studies, diligence in the work before her, and wisdom in her friendships. Guard her focus and draw her close to You each day. Give her mother peace and encouragement as she supports her. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We rejoice with you in this answered prayer and give thanks to our gracious God who hears and answers the cries of His people. How good is the Lord to open this door for your daughter as she begins her diesel mechanical N5, and we join you in praising Him for His mercy.

Your prayer for her is most wise. You have asked for wisdom, knowledge and understanding, and Scripture teaches us where these are to be found. Wisdom is man's true path, the compass by which he is to steer across the trackless waste of life, yet the price of wisdom is above rubies and it cannot be valued with pure gold. It is not found in mere worldly maxims, but in Christ Himself, for Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. He planned the way of salvation and by Him all things were made, and if your daughter would be truly wise she must find wisdom in Him and in the word of revelation. Let us pray that she will trust not in her own apprehension, but lean upon the wisdom of God and appeal to Him in every difficulty, for when we do so we overcome opposition by leaning upon His power.

You have prayed also that she may concentrate on herself and on God, and that He would shift unhelpful friends from her. There is great scriptural wisdom in this. As we have often considered, Mary took a pound of ointment and poured it all on Christ's feet, that is concentration, and then the whole house was filled with the odor of the ointment, that is diffusion. The surest way to effective diffusion is perfect concentration. You desire to do something which may prove a blessing to your family, and the desire is good, but do not begin with diffusion, commence with concentration and let Mary be your model. College work, as you rightly say, needs much self study and diligence. May the Lord help her to pour out her best upon Christ first, to seek real holy living and true godly communion, and then all her studies and labors will give forth a sweet odor in the house and in the classroom. Plain, holy, godly living is more needed than fine talk, and such a life will make her a fit companion for those who fear the Lord and will quietly separate her from those who would draw her away.

We will pray for her after this manner, that the Lord who has begun a good work will perfect it.

O Lord our God, we thank Thee for hearing prayer and for bringing this daughter to this place of learning. Grant her, we beseech Thee, wisdom that comes from above, knowledge and understanding in her studies in diesel mechanics, and a diligent spirit for self study. Help her to concentrate her heart upon Christ, to love Thy word, and to walk in godly fear, which has strong confidence and is a fountain of life. Keep her from companions who would hinder her, and surround her with influences that point her to Christ. Grant her better results, steady progress through N6, and in Thy providence open the door for training thereafter, that she may use her skill faithfully for Thy glory and for the good of others. Keep her and her mother in Thy gracious care, and let this answered prayer be the first of many mercies. In the name of Jesus Christ our wisdom and our hope, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We give thanks to God with you for His goodness in answering prayer and opening the door for your daughter to begin her studies in Diesel Mechanical N5. It is right to rejoice when God hears and to continue to seek Him for what lies ahead.

We join you in asking the Lord to grant her true wisdom, knowledge and understanding for her studies. The wisdom that comes from God is greater than the wisdom of this world, for it does not end with this life but leads to life and godliness. May God give her a love for learning, discipline for self study, diligence in her work, and a mind that is clear and focused. May He help her to be faithful in the small things each day, to manage her time well, and to trust Him for strength when the work is difficult.

We also pray as you have asked that God would guard her heart and her friendships. May He draw her close to Himself, help her to concentrate on what is good and pure, and gently move away any friendships that would distract her from her studies and from walking with Christ. May He surround her with companions who encourage her in faith and in diligence, and may she find her deepest fellowship with the Lord.

We ask the Lord to grant her good results in N5 and on through N6, and in His providence to open the right place for practical training afterward according to His will. As you continue to pray for her, take courage that prayer is able to accomplish great things and that God honors the faith of a parent who brings a child before Him. May He keep both you and your daughter in His peace and guide you by His grace in Christ.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We rejoice with you over this answered prayer and thank God with you for your daughter beginning her studies. It is good to bring her before the Lord again and ask Him to carry her forward.

Scripture teaches that wisdom is the most important thing to seek, and with all our seeking we should seek understanding. Knowledge can give facts and information, but wisdom is the ability to use knowledge well and apply it rightly. In a technical course like this, that difference matters greatly. She will learn many facts and procedures, but she needs the wisdom to understand them, remember them, and put them into practice with care and diligence.

The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord. When a heart reverences God and looks to Jesus Christ, in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden, wisdom begins to take root. Wisdom is spoken of as a voice calling out to all who will listen, inviting them to come and receive what God longs to give. Those who love wisdom and keep close to her find that she preserves and guards them.

We remember how Solomon, when he could have asked for riches or honor, asked God for wisdom to do the work set before him, and God was pleased with that prayer and blessed him abundantly. In the same way we can ask God for wisdom for your daughter, and He gives generously to those who ask. True wisdom from above is not like the wisdom of this world which leads to confusion and strife. The wisdom that comes from God leads to a pure life, peace, and good fruit, and it gives life to those who have it.

We will pray that God grants her wisdom, knowledge and understanding for her N5 studies, that He helps her to be disciplined in self study and to do whatever her hand finds to do with all her might. We pray that He gives her a focused heart to concentrate on her work and on her walk with Him, and that He surrounds her with companions who will help her and not pull her away, removing influences that would distract her from what is good. We ask Him to establish her efforts so that she will see better results and be prepared for the training she hopes for after N6.

May the Lord keep her mind clear, her heart close to Him, and her steps steady as she learns. May He be her defense and her guide, and may she grow in both knowledge and the wisdom to use it well for His glory.
