Beloved of All
heavenly father pls all the times ive been scolded. pls kindly remove from memory. i will only know what is positive. in jesus christ name. amen.

We join with you in bringing this hurt before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We understand the pain that comes from being scolded many times and how those harsh words can linger in the memory and weigh on the heart. While we understand the desire to have those painful memories completely removed and to only remember what is positive, we know that God does not always erase our memories, but He does promise to heal our hearts and to renew our minds so that those memories no longer have power over us. He can redeem even painful experiences and use them to shape us with wisdom and compassion.

The scriptures encourage us to let God transform us from within. Romans 12:2 says Dont be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. And Philippians 4:8 teaches us how to direct our thoughts, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. This is not about pretending the hurt never happened, but about bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ as we are told in 2 Corinthians 10:5, and choosing to dwell on what is good and true.

We also hear the Lord calling us to forgiveness, which brings freedom to our own hearts. Ephesians 4:32 says And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. When we release those who have scolded or wounded us into Gods hands, we allow Him to heal the wound they left. He promises in Psalm 147:3 that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and in Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

We pray together for you now.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know every time they were scolded and every word that has stayed in their memory and caused pain. We ask that You touch their mind and heart with Your healing hand. Wash away the sting and the shame and the heaviness of those memories, and renew their mind by Your Holy Spirit. Help them to forgive those who have spoken harshly to them, just as You have forgiven us in Christ. Fill their thoughts with Your peace, Your truth, and Your love, and help them to think on whatever is pure and lovely and of good report. Let Your perfect peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let them know they are fully loved and valued as Your child. Restore joy where there has been hurt, and let only Your voice of grace define who they are. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring these memories to the Lord in prayer whenever they arise, to speak forgiveness over those who hurt you, and to daily fill your mind with the Word of God. As you stay your mind on Him, He will keep you in perfect peace and gradually that pain will lose its hold as His positive and healing truth takes its place.

We hear how heavy those times of being scolded have felt for you, and it makes sense you would ask God to take that weight away and leave you with what is peaceful and positive.

We bring that desire to Him with you. God does not usually erase our memories completely, but we have seen Him gently heal how those memories affect us. Over time He can renew our minds and loosen the sting of old words, so we are not stuck replaying them and can more naturally notice what is good and true in the present.

When one of those painful memories comes back, it can help to not fight it harshly but to quietly notice it, bring it to Jesus in a simple prayer in that moment, and then intentionally turn your attention to something present and steady, a kind truth about who you are in Christ, a task in front of you, or a small good from today. If you notice the same scoldings coming up often, it can also be a comfort to share them with a trusted pastor or a mature friend who can listen and pray with you regularly. We are standing with you in prayer for that kind of healing and steadiness.

Father, we lift our friend to You and thank You that You hear this prayer. Please bring Your comfort where harsh words have hurt, quiet what needs to be quieted, and fill their thoughts with Your peace and kindness. Help them to sense Your love day by day and to rest in what is good. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer reflects a heart that has felt the weight of many rebukes and longs for relief, and it is good that you have brought this burden to the heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Lord does not promise to blot out our memories as if they had never been, but He does promise to heal the broken in heart and to bind up their wounds. When the memory of scolding returns and stings the soul, Christ has healing in His wings. Even the leaves of the tree of life are for healing, and the least touch of His grace can change the lifeblood and make the nature new. What you need, and what He delights to give, is not an empty mind but a renewed mind and a healed heart.

Scripture teaches that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Our own strength, whether of body or mind or spirit, will fail, and the sin that dwells in us drags us down, but to those who have no might He increases strength. He can take those painful memories and, by His mercy, cleanse what needs cleansing, teach what needs learning, and soften what has been made sore, so that you are not held captive by them. In times of ache and heaviness we are called to let the Jerusalem above come into our mind, to remember that Christ is there and that He sees with a deeply sympathetic heart and is quick to relieve.

Therefore bring each memory to Him. Tell Him plainly where the wound still hurts, and plead His promises. Ask Him not only to ease the pain but to give you grace to forgive those who scolded you, to learn to discern what was just and what was harsh, and to fill your thoughts with what is true and pure and lovely, as He commands us to think on whatsoever things are true and of good report. He can keep you from being overwhelmed by the past and instead make you strong for fresh work, with more faith and more God reliance.

Let us pray for you now. Heavenly Father, we bring this dear soul before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. You know every scolding that has been endured and every wound that remains. We ask You to heal the broken heart and bind up its wounds. Forgive sin where sin has been, and wash the conscience in the blood of Christ that cleanses from all sin. Renew strength to those who wait upon You, lift up this cast down spirit, and grant peace that passes understanding. Teach this heart to forgive as You have forgiven, to remember with wisdom and not with bitterness, and to dwell upon those things that nourish faith and hope. Let Your healing power be present as Your Word is believed, and make this life fresh and whole to Your glory. In Jesus Christ's name we ask it, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
