We join with you in bringing these burdens before our heavenly Father and we thank you for closing your request in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We hear your heart for others as you intercede for a young woman and a young man and for the people in their lives, asking that if they are in need of salvation they would be saved. This reflects the very heart of God, for we read in 1 Timothy 2:3-4 that God our Savior desires all people to be saved and to come to full knowledge of the truth, and in 2 Peter 3:9 that He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. We also remember Acts 4:12 that there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, and Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We pray that each of them would hear the gospel, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and receive eternal life.

We also lift up the two individuals you mentioned who are in need of healing and good health. We ask our Father who is the great physician to touch them according to His mercy. We cling to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 that Yahweh says, I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, and in Psalm 103:2-3 to praise Yahweh who heals all your diseases, and in 3 John 1:2 that you may prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers. We pray for complete restoration, strength, and peace for them, and that their healing would bring glory to God and draw them closer to Him.

You also asked that the Lord would remove something from your memory and permanently remove the title of a song that is troubling you. We understand how an unwanted thought or melody can linger and disturb our peace. God does not promise to simply erase our minds, but He does promise to renew and transform them as we surrender our thoughts to Him. Romans 12:2 urges us to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, and 2 Corinthians 10:5 reminds us to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Philippians 4:8 teaches us to dwell on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good report, and Psalm 51:10 asks God to create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. As we fill our hearts with His Word, which Psalm 119:11 says we hide in our heart that we might not sin against Him, He replaces what is unhelpful with what is holy.

We pray together now, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we thank You that we can come boldly to You. We ask that You would save this young woman and this young man if they do not yet know You, and save all those in their lives who are still lost. Draw each one by Your Spirit, open their eyes to the truth of the cross and the resurrection, and grant them repentance and faith. We ask for Your healing hand upon those two dear ones mentioned, that You would restore health, relieve suffering, and grant them good health and strength for Your purposes. We ask that You would renew our dear intercessor's mind, that You would quiet the lingering memory and the title of that song, take captive every troubling thought, and fill that space with Your peace, Your Word, and songs of praise to You. Help us to meditate on what is pure and pleasing to You, and guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We trust Your will is perfect and Your love endures forever, and we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We've been holding your requests before the Lord and we hear the weight in them, especially wanting that song title and painful memory to finally lift. It makes sense you would ask God for quiet in your mind, and for healing and salvation for the people you love.

We don't always experience God removing a memory the moment we ask, but we have seen Him bring a gentle healing as we keep inviting Him into the moment the thought surfaces, asking for His peace to settle there and for the sting of it to lessen over time. That can be a slow, kind work rather than an instant erasing.

One small practice that helps some is when that title comes to mind, to pause for a brief, simple prayer, handing that moment to Jesus, and then gently turning your attention to something else that is wholesome and true, like a hymn you love or a task in front of you. If those thoughts feel stuck or distressing over time, it can also help to share them with a trusted pastor or counselor who can walk with you alongside prayer.

We also join you in praying for the two you named for healing and health, and for the young woman, the man, and their families that they would come to know Jesus if they do not yet.

Father, we bring this person and the loved ones named to You. Quiet what is troubling in memory, bring Your healing and health as You will, and draw each heart closer to Jesus. We ask in Jesus' name, amen.

Your petitions have been brought before the Lord and there is much in them which shows that God has written intercession upon your heart. It is a good and holy thing to plead for the salvation of others, for it brings you into sympathy with our great High Priest who ever lives to make intercession for His people within the veil.

You have asked that a girl and a man, and the people in their lives, may be saved if they are in need of salvation. Hear then the plain Gospel which must be preached over and over again, that salvation is by Divine Grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone. There is no salvation to be obtained from priests or forms or ceremonies, nor by any other name under heaven. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. To believe on Him is to trust Him, to look unto Him and be saved, all the ends of the earth. It is not to believe about Him but to rest the whole weight of your soul upon Him in unquestioning confidence for present and eternal salvation. So we pray that the Holy Spirit, who helps our infirmities and maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God, would work this faith in each soul you have named, that they may look to Jesus and live. If any of them are still without Christ, may they be made saints by His grace, for His intercession is for those the Father has given Him, and we long to see them come to God by Him.

You have also asked for healing and for good health for those who are sick, and for the removal of what troubles the memory, even the title of a song that burdens the mind. We bring these bodily and inward afflictions to the same Saviour. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His salvation not only pardons sin but brings healing in its wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing flow from the same hand. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. We therefore ask the Lord, if it be His will, to lay His healing hand upon those for whom you intercede, to restore them and to grant them health in body, and to cause His grace to work health and cure in the soul till all is made whole.

And concerning the memory, we know that we often know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us. Ask the Lord not only to take away what is vain or defiling, but to fill the mind with what is pure and lovely and of good report. May He renew the mind and set it upon Christ, so that the thoughts that once clung to vanity are purged and the heart is kept in peace by looking to Jesus.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, look upon these supplications. Save, we beseech You, those who are yet unsaved, by bringing them to simple faith in Your Son. Heal those who are sick, according to Your mercy, and grant them restored health to serve You. Cleanse the memory and the thoughts, and let Christ dwell there richly. All this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and salvation. Amen.
