We come before the Lord with this earnest request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, we acknowledge that seeking guidance or meaning from zodiac signs and horoscopes is a form of divination, which Your Word explicitly forbids. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (WEB) warns, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." These practices open doors to deception and lead hearts away from trusting in You alone.
Lord, we ask that You would indeed remove all knowledge, fascination, or lingering influence of zodiac signs and horoscopes from this dear one’s mind and heart. Replace any curiosity or reliance on these things with a deep hunger for Your truth and wisdom. Psalm 119:105 (WEB) declares, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." May Your Word be the only guide and source of direction in their life.
We also rebuke any spiritual strongholds or lies that have taken root through these practices. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on the authority of Christ to break every chain and sever every ungodly tie to astrology or divination. James 4:7 (WEB) reminds us, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We declare that this person is submitted to You, Lord, and we resist every work of darkness in Jesus’ name.
Father, we pray that You would fill this heart with Your peace and assurance. When doubts or questions arise, may they turn to You in prayer and to Your Word for answers. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Let this be their confession and their way of life.
We also ask that You would heal any areas of their life where they may have felt lost or uncertain, leading them to seek answers outside of You. Draw them closer to Your heart, Lord, and surround them with godly counsel and fellowship. May they grow in discernment and wisdom, recognizing the voice of the Holy Spirit above all others.

We are grateful you brought this to prayer. The desire to be free from zodiac signs and horoscopes is itself a sign of God at work in you, so do not despise the struggle or think you are failing because those thoughts still surface. This prayer is a cry for deliverance, and it is a sweet thing to hear a soul ask the Lord to remove all knowledge of zodiac signs and horoscopes. For these are of the darkness, and the child of God must have no fellowship with them. The Lord who brought Israel out of Egypt with silver and gold will bring you out from every false star and vain horoscope, not to leave you empty but to enrich you with the knowledge of Himself. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. So rest not on your own resolve to forget these things, but look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone.
You have asked in the name of Jesus Christ, and that is the only name by which such a deliverance comes. The prisoner is ready to be executed, but there comes to him undeserved deliverance from all punishment, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities. This prayer is a good beginning, because it asks God to uproot a false knowledge and leave nothing of it behind. The knowledge of zodiac signs and horoscopes is not the knowledge that is according to godliness. There is a truth in other things that is not according to godliness; knowledge of farming or of crafts is true in its own place, but the truth that saves is the truth after godliness. What the stars and their supposed powers offer is not that truth. It is weakness and fancy, a snare of the enemy, and the Lord wills to free you from it.
But do not only ask God to remove this knowledge; ask Him to fill the empty place. The apostle says knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. Astrology puffs up with secret and useless curiosity. The knowledge of Christ humbles the soul and builds it in love. Therefore pray that the Lord will not simply erase the old curiosity, but plant in you a clean knowledge of His Son and of His commandments.
Do not wait for a sign. The evil spirit is grieved when he is driven out of a body, but far more when he sees a soul delivered from sin. Your turning away from horoscopes is already a blow against the devil, for it is a turning toward Christ. Continue with faith, even as small as a mustard seed, and whenever the old thought returns, confess it and call on the name of Jesus. God is able to do what you ask, and more. He will take away the knowledge that defiles and give you the knowledge that gives life. Amen.

That is one of the ways you know He alone is God. The practice of looking to the stars for guidance, the astrologers and stargazers and those who make monthly predictions, cannot save or tell you what will truly come to pass. God once challenged those who trusted in such things to stand up and save themselves from what was coming upon them, and they could not. They have no power to deliver.
It is possible that God originally placed the stars in the heavens as signs, and that their true story points to His own plan, but men have corrupted that witness into a counterfeit system that pretends to guide lives. It is not a harmless curiosity. The spiritual realm is real, and dabbling in occult things can open a door that should remain closed. Turning away from it is the right step.
