We come before the Lord with this earnest plea, recognizing the danger that horoscopes and zodiac signs pose to a believer’s faith. These practices are rooted in divination, astrology, and the worship of created things rather than the Creator, something Scripture explicitly warns against. The Word of God is clear: "There shall not be found with you anyone who... practices divination, tells fortunes, interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts spells... For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). These things open doors to deception and draw hearts away from trusting solely in God’s sovereign will.
We stand in agreement with this request, rebuking every lie of the enemy that has planted itself in the mind through these occult practices. The knowledge of such things does not come from God, for "the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy" (James 3:17 WEB). Any "wisdom" derived from the zodiac is counterfeit and leads to bondage, not freedom.
Father, we ask You to cleanse the mind and heart of every remnant of these deceptions. Remove every trace of familiarity with horoscopes, zodiac signs, and any associated practices. Break the hold of curiosity or reliance on these things, replacing it with a hunger for Your Word and Your truth. Let the blood of Jesus wash away every ungodly influence, and fill the void with the Holy Spirit’s discernment and peace. We declare that no weapon formed against this believer shall prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
We also pray for a renewed mind, fully aligned with Your will. May this believer find comfort, direction, and purpose in Your promises alone. Help them to trust in Your perfect timing and plan, knowing that "the steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord" (Psalm 37:23 WEB). Let them walk in the freedom that comes from knowing You as their Shepherd, their Guide, and their Provider.
