Beloved of All
Heavenly Father pls kindly forgive i for earlier. Pls for strength while fasting. In Jesus christ name. amen.

We come before the throne of grace with humility, recognizing our own need for God’s mercy and strength. Your heartfelt plea for forgiveness and strength while fasting is heard, and we join with you in seeking the Lord’s presence and power.

First, we rejoice in your acknowledgment of Jesus Christ as Lord, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Your prayer in His name is a beautiful reminder of the grace and redemption found in Christ alone.

Fasting is a sacred discipline that draws us closer to God, humbling ourselves before Him and seeking His will above our own desires. Jesus Himself taught the importance of fasting with the right heart, saying, "Moreover, when you fast, don’t be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you" (Matthew 6:16-18). We encourage you to fast with a heart focused on God, not on outward appearances, trusting that He sees your sincerity and will strengthen you.

We also lift you up in prayer, asking the Lord to sustain you during this time of fasting. May He fill you with His Holy Spirit, granting you the endurance and spiritual clarity you seek. Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, grateful for Your mercy and grace. Lord, we ask that You forgive us for our shortcomings and strengthen this dear brother/sister as they seek You through fasting. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, that they may be empowered to deny the flesh and draw nearer to You. Sustain them with Your presence, Father, and let this time of fasting be a sweet aroma before You. May they emerge from this season refreshed, renewed, and aligned with Your will. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are their strength and their song. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, dear one. Fasting is not easy, but it is a powerful way to deepen your relationship with God and seek His face. Remember the words of Isaiah 58:6-9, which remind us of the true purpose of fasting: "Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? Isn’t it to distribute your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light will break out as the morning, and your healing will appear quickly; then your righteousness shall go before you; and the Lord’s glory will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’" May your fasting lead to a greater outpouring of God’s love and power in your life and in the lives of those around you.

It takes courage to bring a simple, honest need before the Lord like you’ve done, forgiveness and strength are exactly the things He loves to give. We’re joining you in that.

When you ask, “Please kindly forgive i for earlier,” we want you to know you’re coming to a Father who is rich in mercy. He isn’t holding your past missteps at arm’s length. Because of Jesus, your confession lands on a heart that already knows and already cares, your forgiveness is as sure as His promise. Sometimes we just need to pause long enough to let that sink back into our bones: right now, because of Christ, you stand clean.

And as you fast, we ask the Lord to be your real-time strength. Fasting can sharpen our hunger for God, but it’s also wise to pay attention to your body. If you’re extending the fast beyond a short while or have any health concerns, please consider checking in with a doctor, that’s not a lack of faith; it’s simple stewardship of the body God gave you. Even a modified fast can keep your heart focused while you stay safe.

In your sustained moments today, you might quietly dwell on Jesus’ love for you, not trying harder, just receiving. Let that be your kindling when your own strength feels thin.

Let’s pray together:
Lord Jesus, thank You for making forgiveness full and free. Lift any shadow of guilt from our friend, and pour in Your peace. Give the physical and spiritual strength needed to continue this fast, and draw their heart close to Yours. In Your trustworthy name we pray, amen.

You have felt the bruise of a sudden stumble, and your first breath was a cry for forgiveness, how quickly grace meets you there. The mercy-seat is not far; it is nearer than the shadow on your skin. Your Father is not holding yesterday's fault before His eyes like a tally-keeper. He has already blotted it out, not because you found the right words, but because the blood of His Son speaks louder than your worst moment. When you whispered “forgive,” heaven did not pause to debate; it sang.

The thing that troubles you now is already sunk in the deep sea of divine forgetfulness. Do you think the Lord, who delights in mercy, would tease you with a pardon half-given? No, when He forgives, He does not keep a memorandum on the side. He rolls the stone away and never treads that path again. Rest in this: you are as clean before Him as if the fault had never been born. And if your heart still feels the smart of it, let that tenderness drive you closer to Christ, not further. A child who has fallen does not run from her father; she runs to him, and the father’s arms are quicker than her tears.

Now, you ask for strength while you fast. That is a prayer heaven loves to answer, for it is a prayer that empties self. The flesh will whimper; it will tell you that you cannot hold on. Do not argue with it, turn your eyes to the One who knows your frame and remembers that you are dust. The strength you need is not a store you must manufacture. It is drawn from the Vine, moment by moment. When you feel your own resources draining away like water from a cracked jar, that is the very place where divine strength begins to fill you. The eagle does not flap furiously to stay aloft; it spreads its wings and trusts the wind that bears it. So wait upon the Lord, and He will renew your strength. You will find that the fast becomes less about what you do without, and more about what He pours in.

Think of your Savior in the wilderness, He fasted not with His own might, but in the Spirit. He knows the pang of hunger, the lonesome hour, the subtle hiss of the tempter. And now He stands as your Head, ready to sustain every member of His body. When you feel weak, welcome that weakness as a door through which His power may enter. He has promised that those who wait on Him shall not be ashamed. Their strength shall not fail, for it springs from a fountain that never runs dry.

So do not look back at the slip that brought you here, except to remember it no more. And do not look at your own grip upon this fast, as though your devotion were the anchor. Look to Jesus, the beginner and finisher of your faith, the forgiver of all your sin, the giver of strength when all human might has crumbled. He is enough.

Father, into Thy gentle hands we commit this dear soul. Breathe peace over the memory that pricks, and let it be swallowed up in the love that never lets go. Strengthen this frame as day follows day, and let the hidden manna of Thy presence be the sweetest portion. Keep this heart close under the shadow of Thy wing, and bring out of this fast a deeper communion with Christ. In His precious name. Amen.
