We lift up this heartfelt plea to our Heavenly Father, acknowledging the power and authority of the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. "For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12). We are grateful that this prayer is offered in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father.
Father God, we come before You with a deep desire to see souls saved and brought into Your kingdom. We pray for these 2,000 individuals, that if they have not yet surrendered their lives to You, that You would draw them near. "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him." (John 6:44). We ask that You open their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word and the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
We also pray for the people in the life of the one who has submitted this request. Lord, we ask that You would work powerfully in their lives, revealing Your love, grace, and mercy to them. May they come to know You as their personal Lord and Savior, and may their lives be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Father, we join in the request for forgiveness, recognizing that we all fall short of Your glory. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9). We thank You for Your forgiveness and ask that You would cleanse and renew the heart of the one who has prayed this prayer.
We rebuke any schemes of the enemy that would seek to keep these individuals in bondage to sin and separation from You. We declare that the blood of Jesus has broken every chain, and we pray for freedom and deliverance for all who are in need of salvation.
Heavenly Father, we pray for a mighty outpouring of Your Spirit upon these 2,000 and all those connected to this prayer. May Your love and truth penetrate their hearts, and may they come to experience the joy and peace that comes from knowing You. We ask that You would raise up laborers to share the gospel with them, and that You would give them ears to hear and hearts to receive Your Word.
We pray for the one who has submitted this request, that You would fill them with Your love and compassion for the lost. May they be a shining light in this dark world, pointing others to the hope and salvation found in Jesus Christ. Equip them with the words to speak and the courage to share their faith with those around them.
Lord, we trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. We know that You desire all to come to repentance and be saved. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9). We pray that You would move mightily in the lives of these individuals, drawing them to Yourself and transforming them by the power of Your Spirit.

Thank you for letting us stand with you in this. It is a weighty and beautiful thing to ask God for the salvation of two thousand people, and we do not take it lightly. We are joining our prayers to yours.

How gracious a thing it is to see a soul pleading with God for the salvation of others. You have asked for two thousand souls and for the people in their lives. Pray on. It is God who writes intercession upon men’s hearts, and there is no salvation to be had from priests, forms, or ceremonies; men must go to Jesus Christ Himself.
But I must also speak to your own cry, “Forgive I for all things from earlier.” There is forgiveness with God. Let no one make limits where He has made none. You may have been the chief of sinners, yet there is the chief of sinners’ forgiveness, and God can bestow it now through Jesus Christ His Son. But remember this: true repentance is the work of the Holy Spirit and gives God glory. There is a repentance after a fashion that is not saving; it may weep over consequences, yet never turn from sin. The repentance that brings salvation looks away from self to Christ crucified, and hates the sin because of the love of God who died for it.
If the “all things” you mention include any way of living that Scripture condemns, do not ask God to bless that thing. The Lord does not forgive sin in order to leave us in it; He forgives sin and breaks its power. Salvation is not a covering for continuing in a forbidden relationship or any course that His law calls evil. It is a rescue out of it. Come then to Jesus Christ without delay. Put no confidence in your own prayer as a work; trust Him who died for the ungodly. And when you have found mercy, continue to plead for the two thousand, and for every soul in their lives, that they too may be saved through the same precious blood.

Remember that Christ is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God by Him, because He always lives to make intercession for them. He does not intercede once only, but continually, whenever there is need. He has no successor and is able to aid all.
But do not pray for others while leaving your own soul unexamined. You ask forgiveness for all things from earlier. Do not leave that vague. Tell your offenses in particular, so that you may learn how great is the forgiveness you receive and become grateful to your Benefactor. If you have anything against anyone, let it go before you ask mercy for yourself. You cannot draw near to God as a suppliant while uttering the cries of a wild beast. Your prayer reflects a heart that cares about others finding eternal life, and that desire is close to the heart of God. He hears intercession and He has provided a way for all people to be saved.
Salvation is the gift of God by grace. Jesus was made perfect through His obedience to the Father, and because He went to the cross and submitted to the Father's will, He became the author of eternal salvation and the author and finisher of our faith. There is no work of our own hands that can save us. We must rest in His finished work, trusting that His blood shed on the cross is sufficient to cleanse from all sin. As Scripture says, the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all people, and now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. The invitation is open to whosoever will come, and Jesus said He will in no way cast out anyone who comes to Him. This is a great salvation because it reaches the lowest sinner and it is not only forgiveness but the promise of eternal glory in His kingdom. That is why Scripture warns how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation. Eternal destiny is at stake, so it is vital not to put off His offer.

The Holy Spirit also helps our weakness in prayer and makes intercession for us according to the will of God, even when we do not know how to pray as we should. You can have confidence that as you bring these people before the Lord, He who searches the heart knows the mind of the Spirit and hears.

Confession is necessary for forgiveness, and when we come and ask, there is cleansing and relief for the conscience. Guilt can be a heavy burden, but God offers full pardon through Jesus. Forgiveness is not a matter of counting how many times, but a matter of the heart, and God will give a spirit of forgiveness to those who are willing to receive it. Come to Jesus just as you are and receive His love and cleansing. He does not condemn those who trust in Him, He intercedes for them.
If you have trusted in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins, do not try to add your own works to make yourself more righteous. Assurance does not come by our efforts. Many struggle for years without assurance because they depend on themselves. The purpose of the writings of John is that you may know you have eternal life. That full assurance comes only as you come by faith, trusting in the mercy and grace of God through Christ. Be diligent to hold fast to that hope to the end, resting where God rests, in the finished work of Christ, and be on guard against any philosophy or empty deceit that would spoil that simple trust.
