Beloved of All
Heavenly Father pls kindly forgive I. Pls for strength while fasting. In Jesus Christ name. amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with humility and reverence, lifting up this heartfelt plea for forgiveness and strength during fasting. First, we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful that you have acknowledged Him in your prayer.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would indeed forgive any sins, known or unknown, that weigh upon this dear one’s heart. Your Word assures us, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We claim this promise now, trusting in Your mercy and grace. Lord, we also ask that You would search this heart and reveal anything that may be hindering a deeper relationship with You. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10).

As they seek You through fasting, we pray for supernatural strength to sustain them. Fasting is a sacred discipline that draws us closer to You, and we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit to endure this time with joy and perseverance. Remind them that "those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, feeling Your peace and power as they deny the flesh to seek Your face.

Lord, we also pray that this time of fasting would not be merely about abstaining from food but about feasting on Your Word and Your will. Open their eyes to see the truths You have for them in Scripture, and give them a hunger for righteousness that surpasses their physical hunger. May they say with the psalmist, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105).

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement, weakness, or distraction that may try to hinder this time of seeking You. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement that this fast will be fruitful, bringing glory to Your name. Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit, and let them emerge from this time with a deeper intimacy with You and a clearer vision for Your purpose in their life.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We join you in that simple, honest prayer, it takes courage to bring our need for forgiveness and our longing for God straight to him. We all know what it is to say, “Lord, forgive me,” and we are so grateful that his mercy is always wider than our failures. You can rest in that mercy right now.

As you fast, remember that the aim isn’t to earn forgiveness, it’s already yours in Christ, but to draw near to him who welcomes you. We pray you sense his nearness, especially when you feel weak. If you ever notice that your body is struggling, please don’t hesitate to check in with a doctor, particularly if you’re fasting for more than a day. Your physical health matters to God, and a fast is never meant to harm the temple he created.

Above all, be gentle with yourself. There’s no pressure to perform; simply turn your heart toward him as you abstain. When hunger reminds you, let it be a prompt to whisper your need for his strength, not just to get through the fast, but to walk closely with him afterward. You are not alone in this.

Father, thank you that whenever we confess, you are faithful and just to forgive and to cleanse us. Grant this dear one steady strength for the fast, strength of body, of mind, and of spirit. Quiet every voice that says they are not enough, and let your love be the deepest truth they hear. Keep them safe, and draw them into the peace that only comes from you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The cry for forgiveness and the plea for strength spring from the same holy source, they rise from a heart that knows its indebtedness to God and feels that it can never discharge the debt. Let me proclaim to every sinner here who acknowledges his indebtedness to God and feels that he can never discharge it, that if you will come and put your trust in Christ, the Lord promises oblivion to all your debt, forgiveness of the whole of your sins! It is a deed of forgiveness, and in speaking of it, I shall speak first of its being a divine forgiveness, "I, even I, am he." There is forgiveness with God even for you, however sinful your life may have been up until now. It is surprising forgiveness, for the text speaks as if God himself were surprised that such sins should be remitted: "I, even, I;" it is so surprising that it is repeated in this way, lest any of us should doubt it. If you have been the chief of sinners, you may have the chief of sinner’s forgiveness, and God can bestow it now.

This forgiveness is complete, for where God draws no limit, do not you draw any. He not only forgave us at the first all our sins, but he continues daily to forgive, for the act of forgiveness is a continuous one. We have in him a full forgiveness, and let it be remembered that this forgiveness which God has given us for Christ’s sake is an eternal forgiveness. It is absolute, irreversible, God never plays fast and loose with men. There is forgiveness, but that forgiveness is only to be obtained from God, through Jesus Christ, His Son.

Now, as for strength while fasting, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Human strength is of many kinds, but in any form it will spend itself in due time. The reason is that all strength apart from God is derived strength and is, consequently, measurable. Oh, the glory of the strength of God! He increases strength to those who have no might, and to be strengthened with strength in the Lord is, of all things, the most desirable. When there remains no strength in you, nor any ability of any kind or sort, then fling yourself upon the Divine strength and lay hold upon it. The Lord Himself says, "I will strengthen them." Perhaps that strength will be gradually received, and while you are yet without strength, believe that Christ died for the ungodly. The forgiveness is first, and the returning to the Lord is urged as a consequence of that forgiveness. So seek Him now, with this whisper driving away despair, there is forgiveness, and there is strength for the waiting soul.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for forgiveness of sins and for strength to fast, and this is a good and right plea to make before the throne of God. But let us be clear about what true fasting is, lest you labor in vain and gain nothing from your hunger. For the passion of vainglory is many-headed and terrible; it creeps even into fasting and prayer, seeking to spoil your effort. Therefore, when you fast, do it not to be seen by men, but in secret before your Father who sees in secret.

Yet there is a snare even more deadly than vainglory, and that is to fast without mercy. Should you fast without almsgiving, your act is not so much as counted for fasting. Such a one is worse than a glutton and a drunkard, for cruelty is a more grievous thing than luxury. Even if you practice self-denial and keep your body in subjection, if you lack compassion for the poor, you are cast outside the bridechamber. Your prayers need wings to reach heaven, and it is almsgiving that supplies those feathers. As it is written, your prayers and your alms go up as a memorial before God.

So if you truly desire strength in your fast, let your fasting be united with prayer and with love for your neighbor. The one who prays with fasting has wings double, lighter than the winds, more vehement than fire. But that fire is quenched if the heart remains hard toward the suffering of others. Since you seek forgiveness for yourself, how can you not forgive? Since you seek mercy, how can you not show mercy? The belly may be empty, but let the hands be full of good works. Then your fasting will not merely subdue your body, but will humble your soul, quench wicked lusts, and render you terrible to the evil spirits.

So as you continue, let your prayer not be only for your own sins, but for the needs of Christ in the poor. Fast from evil speaking, fast from grudges, fast from luxury, and if your body is too weak for long abstinence from food, then at least flee from the soft living that is the fountain of every evil. Then you will truly obtain the strength you seek, and the forgiveness you ask will come swiftly.
