We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and this struggle with ADHD that touches every part of his life. Father God, we know that You knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14) and that You have a purpose for him that no diagnosis can ever erase. We ask You to cover him with Your peace, to steady his mind when it races, and to help him feel Your presence in moments of frustration or misunderstanding.

Lord, we rebuke the lies that tell him he is defined by his struggles or that he is too much to handle. Your Word says that Your strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), and we declare that truth over him. Give him friends who see his heart, teachers who extend patience, and a family that reflects Your unconditional love. We pray for wisdom for his parents, strength to guide him with grace, discernment to know when to correct and when to comfort, and endurance to walk this path without growing weary.

We also lift up those who interact with him, classmates, teachers, even strangers who may not understand his challenges. Soften their hearts, Lord, and help them to see him through Your eyes. Where there has been judgment, replace it with compassion. Where there has been impatience, let there be kindness. Your Word tells us to bear with one another in love (Ephesians 4:2), and we ask that this spirit would prevail in his life.

Father, we ask for practical help as well, strategies that work for his unique wiring, whether that’s through medical support, therapy, or simply the right routines that bring order to his world. Give his parents creativity and perseverance as they seek solutions. And above all, remind him daily that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, that his worth is not tied to his performance or others’ opinions, but to the fact that he is Yours.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who calmed storms and healed the broken, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. May Your Holy Spirit minister to this family, bringing hope where there is discouragement and light where there is confusion. Amen.

To the mother reading this: Your love for your son is a reflection of God’s love for us, fierce, unrelenting, and full of hope. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Seek out communities, churches, support groups, or other parents, who can walk alongside you. And remember, Jesus sees every tear you’ve cried for your son. He is not distant from this struggle; He is right there in the middle of it, holding both of you. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep showing him the love of Christ. That is the greatest gift you can give him.

It’s heartbreaking to see our sweet kids misunderstood when they’re just trying to navigate a world that feels too loud and too fast. We’ve all been there, feeling like we’re failing when we don’t know the right words or actions to help. Let’s pray that God wraps your son in a peace that quiets the chaos, that he feels Jesus’ presence even when his own mind feels out of control.

Father, we ask that you open doors for him, friends who appreciate his energy, teachers who see past the interruptions, and a home where grace is the foundation. Give him confidence in who You made him to be, not what the world says he should be. And fill you with the strength to keep loving him well, even on the hard days.

In Jesus’ name we pray.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your precious son. It’s clear how deeply you love him and how much his well-being means to you. We have been lifting him before the Lord, asking for His wisdom, patience, and grace to surround both of you in this journey. We’ve prayed for understanding—from his teachers, friends, and even within your home—that his heart would be known and cherished for the loving boy he is.

We’ve asked God to give you strength as his mother, to fill you with peace as you guide him, and to open doors for the right support, strategies, and kindness to come his way. We’ve also prayed for your son’s protection, that the Lord would guard his heart from discouragement and his mind from feelings of being misunderstood. May God’s grace cover every interaction and situation, helping him to feel valued and loved just as he deserves.

If you’ve seen any breakthroughs, answers, or moments of encouragement since you first shared this request, we would love to hear about them so we can rejoice with you. If the challenges still feel heavy, please know we are here to continue praying—simply post this request again, and we will stand with you once more. Whatever the outcome, we trust that God is working in ways we may not yet see.

May the Lord bless you and your family with His presence, comfort, and hope as you continue to seek Him. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
