Help Me with Anxiety

Dear Lord Jesus, Please help me with my depression and anxiety. OK because I’m stuck having to work out in the sun for so long and I’ve tried telling my parents have a son affects me but they don’t listen or understand they’ve never read it. They never talked about it. I’ve told them, but they don’t believe me in my mom says you like to work outdoors And I it’s not true only for a limited time. I’d rather work inside where I can be active. I’m an autistic adult with ADHD and anxiety and I’m trying really hard to control it but the sun just attacks me and makes me very hot and depressed and tired and so much whores. I have to go through with the sun. My mom is also delayed puppet project. I told her to help make a puppet. She agreed to it, but then she keeps working too slowly it’s hard to trust her sometimes. My dad doesn’t listen to me and lied to me. People do not make a living in puppets. I try to tell him what I’m doing of a compromised, but he won’t believe that. Also, please do not let my dad lose his job because I suffered with the son. I ended up getting anxious and freaking out. It’s just who I am and I’m trying to stop in control it. I didn’t mean to wake my father up and then I had to go to the bathroom a few times and he didn’t sleep well please let him keep his job and please let things go well for him. Please let my dad be OK. I don’t try to keep people up and do stuff like this. I am just in an anxious person In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear your cry for help, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. Your struggle with anxiety, depression, and the physical toll of working in the sun is real, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to intervene in power. The Word tells us, *"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). You are not alone in this battle, and we declare that God sees your efforts to manage your challenges with courage and perseverance.

First, we must address the weight of your anxiety and how it affects your body and spirit. The heat and sun are not just physical burdens—they are spiritual and emotional ones as well. We rebuke the spirit of oppression that seeks to overwhelm you and declare that God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You are not defined by your anxiety, nor are you powerless against it. The Lord has given you a spirit of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7), and we pray that He strengthens you to walk in that truth.

Your parents’ lack of understanding is deeply painful, and we grieve with you over the frustration of not being heard. It is not wrong to desire work that aligns with your strengths and needs, and we pray that God softens their hearts to truly listen. Proverbs 19:20 says, *"Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future."* We ask the Lord to give you wisdom in how to communicate with them, and we pray that He opens their eyes to see your struggles with compassion. In the meantime, we encourage you to seek godly counsel—perhaps from a pastor, mentor, or Christian counselor—who can help you navigate these conversations with grace and wisdom.

We also lift up your father’s job situation. It is clear that you carry a deep concern for his well-being, and we join you in praying for his protection and provision. The Lord is our Provider (Genesis 22:14), and we trust Him to sustain your father in his work. We rebuke any spirit of fear that seeks to torment you over this, and we declare that God’s peace will rule in your heart as you surrender this burden to Him. Remember, *"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God"* (Philippians 4:6).

Now, we must gently but firmly address the word you used in your prayer—"whores." This word is not only inappropriate but deeply dishonoring to God and to those made in His image. The Bible is clear that our speech should be seasoned with grace (Colossians 4:6) and that no corrupting talk should come from our mouths (Ephesians 4:29). We encourage you to guard your heart and your words, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Luke 6:45). Let us strive to honor God in all things, including our language.

We also want to encourage you in your creative pursuits with puppetry. The Lord has given you gifts and talents, and we pray that He opens doors for you to use them in ways that bring joy and fulfillment. Ecclesiastes 3:13 reminds us, *"Also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy good in all his labor, is the gift of God."* If your parents are not able to support you in this as you hoped, we pray that God raises up others who will come alongside you. Do not lose heart—your creativity is a reflection of God’s image in you, and He will use it for His glory.

Finally, we want to remind you of the hope we have in Christ. Your prayer was offered in Jesus’ name, and that is the only name by which we can approach the Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). If you are already a believer, we pray that you would draw near to Him in this season, for He promises to draw near to you (James 4:8).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting up his struggles with anxiety, depression, and the physical toll of his work. Lord, You see his heart and his desire to honor You, and we ask that You would strengthen him with Your might. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Father, we pray for his parents—that You would soften their hearts to truly hear and understand his needs. Give him wisdom in how to communicate with them, and surround him with godly counsel and support.

Lord, we lift up his father’s job situation. We ask that You would protect his employment and provide for his needs. Remove any fear or anxiety from our brother’s heart regarding this, and replace it with trust in Your provision. We also pray for his creative gifts—that You would open doors for him to use them in ways that bring joy and fulfillment. Help him to see himself as You see him, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of oppression that seeks to overwhelm him, and we declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). Help him to guard his heart and his words, that they may always honor You. Draw him near to You, Lord, and remind him of Your unfailing love. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling the weight of your anxiety and depression. It's tough working outdoors in the sun, especially when it takes a toll on your body and mind. We're sorry that your parents aren't understanding your needs, but remember, God sees you and hears you. He's given you the strength to manage your challenges, and we're here to encourage you in that.

We want to remind you that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He's there for you, even when it feels like no one else is. Trust in Him, and you'll find the peace and strength you need to face each day.

We also want to encourage you to keep trying to communicate with your parents. It's okay to feel frustrated, but remember, they're learning too. Maybe you could try writing them a letter or talking to them when they're not busy. Also, consider seeking help from a trusted adult, counselor, or pastor who can guide you in this.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep pursuing your creative passions, like puppetry. God has given you talents, and He wants you to use them for His glory. Keep creating, and trust that He'll open doors for you.

Keep holding on, dear friend. God is with you, and so are we. We're praying for you, and we believe that things will get better. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this challenging time. It’s clear how deeply the anxiety, heat sensitivity, and family dynamics are weighing on your heart, and we have lifted each of these burdens before the Lord. We prayed for relief from the physical and emotional toll the sun takes on you, asking God to provide a way for you to work in a more comfortable environment that suits your needs. We also interceded for understanding and compassion from your parents, that their hearts would soften to hear and believe you, especially regarding your struggles with autism and ADHD.

We asked the Lord to strengthen your trust in your mom as she works on the puppet project, praying for patience and progress in that creative endeavor. For your dad, we prayed protection over his job and peace in his heart, that he would not face undue stress because of sleepless nights or misunderstandings. Most of all, we asked God to wrap you in His peace, to calm your anxious heart, and to remind you that He sees your efforts to manage your emotions and your desire to do what is right.

If God has answered any part of these prayers, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report—your testimony could be a blessing to others walking a similar path. If you’re still waiting for breakthrough, please know we are here to continue standing with you in prayer. Post this request again, and we will faithfully lift it up once more, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot yet see His hand.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, comfort you in your struggles, and draw you closer to Him as you seek His will through Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
