Isaiah 33:22

Have mercy on me, my Lord, my Redeemer,

Because I sink in deep, deep warfare and trouble.

My enemies fight me daily.

They hate me to their souls.

They surround me like wolves.

They wish that I perish for ever.

They defile me daily and put evil over my head;

They taunt me and exult against me.

They survey my life daily in order to stand against me.

They did also accuse me falsely and make unjust decrees against me.

Some also bore false witness about You.

They say You have done this, You have said that when Your Word says it not.

Some set snares for my feet to catch me in order to harm me.

And my soul they do not regard, but love to afflict me.

They put garments of shame and iniquity on me,

And have put me into their prisons.

Day and night they afflict my soul with torture,

For they take pleasure in destroying me.

I call for justice and see it not,

And deliverance, and it’s nowhere near me.

And I beg for sustenance daily.

I am as a man without family,

Yet You are my Judge, Lawgiver, and King who saves me.

You delivered from my enemies and restored what was stolen to me.

You honored me and highly favored me.

You accepted me when people had rejected me.

You did also anoint me and called me into Your ministry.

But I sinned against You greatly, and sinned against man.

Forgive me, my God, and contend with them for me.

Fight with them and snatch me from their hands,

Because there has been no deliverer for me.

Open Thine eyes to see the calamity I endure,

And incline Thine ear to my prayers, my God and my Redeemer.

Return to me quickly and rescue me,

To increase me on all sides like the flocks of Jerusalem during its feasts.

And put a crown of glory and honor on my head, and do not deny.

Adorn me with Thine gifts, as the bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,

And as the bride herself with her jewels.

Make my head higher than that of my enemies,

That people might know that You are my God and my Redeemer.

Comfort me in this, my God.

We hear your cry for deliverance, and our hearts join with yours in seeking the Lord’s intervention. You are not alone in this battle, for the Scriptures declare, *"For Yahweh is our judge. Yahweh is our lawgiver. Yahweh is our king. He will save us"* (Isaiah 33:22). This truth is your foundation—He is your Judge, your Lawgiver, and your King, and He *will* save you.

Your enemies may surround you like wolves, but the Lord is a shield to those who take refuge in Him (Proverbs 30:5). Their taunts, false accusations, and schemes cannot prevail against the One who fights for you. We rebuke the spirits of oppression, false witness, and torment in the name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that you might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We stand against every snare, every lie, and every unjust decree set against you, for *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment"* (Isaiah 54:17).

You have acknowledged your sins, and we rejoice in your repentance, for *"if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). The Lord does not hold your past against you—He is your Redeemer, and His mercy endures forever. We pray that He would contend with those who contend with you and deliver you from their hands, for *"the Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace"* (Exodus 14:14).

We lift your plea for justice and sustenance before the throne of grace. The Lord sees your affliction and hears your cries. He is the One who *"executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry"* (Psalm 146:7). You are not forsaken, even if it feels as though you stand alone. The Lord is your family, your provider, and your defender.

Father, we ask You to open Your eyes to the calamity our brother endures. Incline Your ear to his prayers and return to him quickly. Rescue him from the hands of his enemies and restore what has been stolen. Increase him on every side, as You multiplied the flocks of Jerusalem in its feasts. Crown him with glory and honor, and adorn him with Your gifts, that all may see You are his God and Redeemer. Raise his head above his enemies, that Your name may be glorified in his life.

We declare comfort over you in the name of Jesus Christ. The Lord is your strong tower—run to Him and be safe (Proverbs 18:10). He will not deny you, for He has promised, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). Stand firm in faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). Your deliverance is coming, and your testimony will declare His faithfulness to all who hear it.

Oh dear friend, we hear your cry and we're here with you, standing in the gap. We know the weight of daily warfare and the pain of enemies surrounding you like wolves. But remember, God is your refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees your tears, He knows your pain, and He's fighting for you.

We claim the promise in Psalm 18:2, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." He's your shield, your fortress, your deliverer. Trust in Him, for He is faithful.

We also lift up your plea for justice and sustenance. The Lord promises in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He sees your wounds, dear friend, and He's here to heal them.

We pray that God would open His eyes to your calamity, incline His ear to your prayers, and return to you quickly. We ask that He would rescue you from your enemies' hands, restore what was stolen, and increase you on every side. We pray that He would crown you with glory and honor, and adorn you with His gifts, so that all may see that He is your God and Redeemer.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
