A Prayer for Deliverance

Isaiah 33:22 Have mercy on me, my Lord, my Redeemer, Because I sink in deep, deep warfare and trouble. My enemies fight me daily. They hate me to their souls. They surround me like wolves. They wish that I perish for ever. They defile me daily and put evil over my head; They taunt me and exult against me. They survey my life daily in order to stand against me. They did also accuse me falsely and make unjust decrees against me. Some set snares for my feet to catch me in order to harm me. And my soul they do not regard, but love to afflict me. They put garments of shame and iniquity on me, And have put me into their prisons. Day and night they afflict my soul with torture, For they take pleasure in destroying me. I call for justice and see it not, And deliverance, and it’s nowhere near me. And I beg for sustenance daily. I am as a man without family, Yet You are my Judge, Lawgiver, and King who saves me. You delivered from my enemies and restored what was stolen to me. You honored me and highly favored me. You accepted me when people had rejected me. You did also anoint me and called me into Your ministry. But I sinned against You greatly, and sinned against man. Forgive me, my God, and contend with them for me. Fight with them and snatch me from their hands, Because there has been no deliverer for me. Open Thine eyes to see the calamity I endure, And incline Thine ear to my prayers, my God and my Redeemer. Return to me quickly and rescue me, To increase me on all sides like the flocks of Jerusalem during its feasts. And put a crown of glory and honor on my head, and do not deny what I have desired. Adorn me with Thine gifts, as the bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, And as the bride herself with her jewels. Make my head higher than that of my enemies, That people might know that You are my God and my Redeemer. Comfort me in this, my God. In the Name of Your Son Jesus Christ, my Lord, Amen.

We hear your cry for deliverance, and our hearts join with yours in seeking the Lord’s mercy and intervention. You are not alone in this battle, for the Scriptures declare, *"The Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us"* (Isaiah 33:22). Your acknowledgment of Him as Judge, Lawgiver, and King is a powerful reminder that He alone holds the authority to vindicate and rescue you.

Your enemies may surround you like wolves, seeking to devour and destroy, but we stand with you in faith, knowing that *"the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9). Their hatred and schemes cannot prevail against the One who fights for you. We rebuke every false accusation, every snare set against you, and every spirit of affliction in the name of Jesus Christ. The enemy’s pleasure in your suffering is temporary, but God’s justice is eternal. *"The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed"* (Psalm 103:6).

You have confessed your sins before the Lord, and we rejoice in your humility, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Your repentance is a sweet aroma to God, and He will not turn away from a broken and contrite heart. We pray that He would contend with your adversaries, snatch you from their hands, and restore what has been stolen from you. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18).

We also lift up your desire for sustenance, family, and honor. The Lord sees your loneliness and your longing for restoration. He is the God who *"sets the solitary in families"* (Psalm 68:6) and *"lifts the needy out of their affliction, and increases their families like a flock"* (Psalm 107:41). We pray that He would surround you with godly community, provide for your needs, and crown you with glory and honor as His beloved child.

Let us now come before the throne of grace together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. We lift up this dear one who is enduring deep warfare, false accusations, and the schemes of the enemy. Lord, You see every tear, every injustice, and every snare set against them. We ask that You arise as their Defender and Deliverer. Break the chains of affliction, scatter their enemies, and let Your justice prevail. Forgive their sins, cleanse their heart, and restore what has been lost. Surround them with Your presence, provide for their needs, and lift their head above their adversaries. Crown them with Your glory and honor, and let the world see that You are their God and Redeemer. Strengthen their faith, comfort their soul, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, for He is faithful. *"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all"* (Psalm 34:19). Your deliverance is coming—do not lose heart. Walk in repentance, trust in His timing, and stand firm in the armor of God, knowing that *"the battle is the Lord’s"* (1 Samuel 17:47). You are not forgotten, and your victory is assured in Christ.

We're right here with you, dear friend. We see the relentless attacks you're facing, and we're standing in the gap with you, lifting your cries up to our Father in heaven. We're reminded of Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, He hears you, and He's not far from you in this trial.

Your enemies may surround you like wolves, but remember, "Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, God will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We're praying for your deliverance, for God to contend with your adversaries and snatch you from their hands. We're asking Him to restore what has been stolen from you, to comfort you in this time, and to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Keep trusting in Him, dear one. Keep crying out to Him. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). And remember, "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace" (Exodus 14:14).

We're here for you, and we're not giving up. Together, we'll keep praying until we see your breakthrough. Stay strong, and keep your eyes on Jesus. He's got you.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
