Gratitude, deliverance, rest, peace, Psalm 121

JesusourLordandSavior

Beloved of All
Thank you heavenly for blessing us all with another day.

Please my Lord and Savior, grant me deliverance from the evil and the evil attacks I face daily. They are nonstop. Please Father God stop what it is doing at this very moment. Please grant me peace my Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Scripture : Psalm 121

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”

We join you in gratitude to our heavenly Father for the gift of another day and for His mercy that is new every morning, and we stand with you in your cry for deliverance, rest and peace.

We hear how weary you are from the nonstop evil attacks you are facing, and we lift your need before the Lord who never slumbers nor sleeps. Your help comes from Him alone as Psalm 121:1-2 says, I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. He is your keeper and your shade at your right hand, and we cling to the promise of Psalm 121:7-8 that Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. The attacks you feel are real, for Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Yet we take comfort that 2 Thessalonians 3:3 declares, But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, and that as you submit to God and resist the devil he will flee from you as James 4:7 teaches.

We pray together with you now. Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son we come before Your throne of grace and we thank You for watching over us day and night. We ask You to rebuke the evil and every attack of the enemy that is coming against our dear one at this very moment and to cause it to stop by Your mighty power. Cover this life with the blood of Jesus and put a hedge of protection around them. Clothe them with the whole armor of God that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil according to Ephesians 6:11. Grant deep rest to the weary soul, for Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding as promised in Philippians 4:7, and let the peace of Christ rule in this heart as John 14:27 says, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, give I to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. We cast every anxiety on You because You care for us as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches, and we trust You to keep us in perfect peace as we keep our minds stayed on You. In the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, to put on the armor of God daily, to stay in fellowship and to cast all your cares on Him, for He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps and He is keeping you now and forevermore.

We join you in thanking God for another day He has given. Coming to Him with gratitude even while you feel under constant pressure is a beautiful act of trust, and we notice that in your words.

We hear how exhausting it is to feel attacked without pause and how deeply you long for God to stop what is troubling you right now and to give you real rest and peace. It makes sense that you would feel worn down.

One thing that has helped others in seasons like this is not trying to fight every moment alone. When the attacks feel nonstop, it can help to have one or two trusted believers who know what you are facing and can pray with you consistently, and to keep a simple steady rhythm of turning to the Lord in prayer and then intentionally resting, rather than staying on high alert through the night. If sleep and rest remain difficult, it can also help to talk with a pastor you trust for ongoing support.

Father, we bring this child of Yours before You. You see the attacks and the weariness and the desire for peace. We ask You to guard their heart and mind, to quiet what is troubling them, and to grant deep rest tonight and in the days ahead. Lead them step by step and let them know Your nearness and care. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

There is a sweet mercy in your thanksgiving for another day, and we join you in blessing the Lord who is the Maker of heaven and earth. You have lifted up your eyes to the hills in the right direction, for as the Psalmist declares, your help comes from the Lord. He who watches over you will not slumber, indeed He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

You cry for deliverance from evil and from attacks that seem nonstop, and for peace and rest. Know this, that the Lord is your shade at your right hand. He will keep you from all harm, He will watch over your life, your coming and going both now and forevermore. The peace you seek is not to be found by rambling round and round to find it in your own strength, but by coming to the Lord and Giver of peace. Come to Jesus who is our peace.

This peace comes through the blood which has made a full atonement. We cannot enjoy true peace as long as sin remains upon the conscience, but the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. It is a present rest, rest now, not only rest after death, but rest given when we come to Jesus by an act of instantaneous faith which brings instantaneous peace. As we have often said, rest in the Lord. If it is easy to rest anywhere, it must be easy to rest in the Lord. Trust and you shall rest. Learn of Him, and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

And for deliverance, hear the good word that God has found a ransom. He has given commandment to save His people and they shall be saved, saved from sin, saved from the attacks of the evil one, saved from going down to the pit. When the soul feels it can do nothing and knows it, then the Lord makes deliverance effectual. He knows the days of the upright and their inheritance shall be forever. Though the cares of this world and the archers of evil may worry you, Christ has delivered us and we are at perfect peace with heaven through Him.

We will pray with you now.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy in granting another day of life. We thank You that You do not slumber nor sleep, but watch over Your children continually. Lord Jesus Christ, we plead Your precious blood for this weary one. Grant deliverance from every evil and every attack of the enemy, and stop what is meant for harm at this very moment. Speak perfect peace to this troubled heart, that peace which comes from a mind stayed on You because it trusts in You. Give rest now, even amid thronging duties and trials, and keep this life from all harm according to Your promise. Make this soul to know more deeply that it is accepted in the Beloved, justified by faith, and at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. This we ask in the name of Jesus our Redeemer. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in giving thanks to our heavenly Father for the gift of another day and for His mercy that is new every morning. Your desire for deliverance, rest and peace is good and right, and we bring it before the Lord with you.

You have lifted your eyes as the Psalm says, and you have looked to the right place. Your help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He is your keeper. He does not slumber and He does not sleep. He watches over you, He is your shade at your right hand, and He will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. He will not let your foot slip.

We pray with you now that our Lord Jesus Christ will grant you deliverance from every evil attack you face. We ask the Father to rebuke what is troubling you at this very moment and to bring it to an end. We ask Him to cover you and keep you from all harm, and to watch over your life in His perfect care.

We also pray that He will grant you the peace and rest that belong to His people. The Lord Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. This peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy. It is the peace of being reconciled to God through Christ, and when we are at peace with God we can stand firm even when the enemy wars against us. That war against the evil one, fought in Christ, is what brings us into peace with God, for the gospel itself is a gospel of peace.

Remember also that the God of love and peace delights to be with those who seek Him. As you seek Him, He will be with you and from His love you will have peace and every evil will be driven away. Keep close to Christ and keep close to His people, gathering together in prayer and worship, for when we are alone and isolated the enemy is more bold to attack, but when we are together and united in faith we are strengthened and guarded.

May the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps keep you today, give you quiet sleep tonight, and fill your heart with His rest. May He lift this burden and let His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior we pray. Amen.
