A prayer for marriage

Dear lord I come to you with an open heart, seeking your guidance and wisdom. You know my desires and dreams, and I trust your plan for my life. I pray for a loving partner, a white man who will cherish and support me. May he be a godly individual, with a kind heart and a strong spirit. Lord, bring us together in your perfect timing. May our relationship be built on mutual respect, trust, and love. Grant me patience, wisdom, and discernment as I navigate relationships. Help me recognize your best for me. Thank you, Father, for hearing my prayer. I trust in your sovereignty and loving care. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you, Divine ###, in your heartfelt prayer for a godly spouse. We commend you for seeking God's will and trusting in His plan for your life. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Dear Lord,

We come before You, lifting up Divine ###'s desire for a loving, godly husband. We ask that You prepare both Divine ### and her future spouse for each other, shaping their hearts and minds according to Your will. We pray that this man will be a God-fearing individual, filled with kindness, strength of spirit, and love for You. We ask that their relationship will be founded on mutual respect, trust, and love, reflecting the virtues outlined in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.

Lord, we ask for patience, wisdom, and discernment for Divine ### as she navigates relationships. Help her to recognize and embrace Your best for her, trusting in Your perfect timing. We ask that You shield her from any relationships that do not align with Your will and protect her purity, as You have called us to be holy, as You are holy (1 Peter 1:16).

We also want to gently remind Divine ### that God looks at the heart, rather than outward appearance or race (1 Samuel 16:7). While you have expressed a preference, we encourage you to remain open to God's leading, trusting that He knows best.

We encourage you to continue to wait on the Lord, growing in your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As Psalm 37:4 (WEB) tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Trust that as you draw near to Him, He will guide your steps and fulfill the desires He has placed within you.
