We rejoice with you in your desire to use your studies and your ministry to honor God, and we join our faith with yours as you trust Him for provision. We see your diligence in handling so many responsibilities as a third year education student, serving on the secretariat committee, as general secretary of the campus religious organization, and as president of the youth organization, and we thank God for the servant heart He has given you. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that it is from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward, you serve the Lord Christ, Colossians 3:23-24. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed, Proverbs 16:3.
We love your confidence that God is rich and able to provide, for His word assures us that our God will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. Yet we also want to gently encourage you to seek His provision according to His will and His timing, trusting that He knows what is best for you. Seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33. We encourage you to continue to trust Him while also being faithful with what you have now, using the resources available through your college, libraries, or shared tools, and being content as you wait, for godliness with contentment is great gain, 1 Timothy 6:6, and to ask Him for wisdom in your studies and leadership, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5.
We noticed you spoke of my God with confidence, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross for our sins and His resurrection that we can boldly bring our needs, including this desire for a laptop, before God, and we urge you to place your full trust in Him and to call upon His name.
We lift you up together in prayer. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for this student whom You have called to study and to serve You in ministry. We thank You for the gifts and diligence You have given him to lead and to serve in his college and youth organizations. Lord, You see his need for a laptop to be more effective in his studies and to advance the work You have given him to do, and You see that his family cannot afford it at this time. We ask according to Your will that You would provide for this need in Your perfect timing and in Your perfect way, whether through unexpected provision, through the generosity of others, or through opening doors for resources. Help him to trust in You with all his heart and not lean on his own understanding, and in all his ways acknowledge You, Proverbs 3:5-6. Give him peace as he waits, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7, and help him to remain faithful, diligent, and content in every circumstance. If it is Your will to provide this laptop, we pray he will use it as a faithful steward for Your glory, for his growth in knowledge, and for the building up of others in Christ. Above all, draw him closer to Jesus and deepen his faith as he sees Your hand at work. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to keep praying, keep studying diligently, and keep serving faithfully where God has placed you, trusting that as you honor Him, He will direct your paths and supply what you need for the work He has prepared for you.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
