We hear your heart, and we lift up your wife and your marriage before the Lord with deep concern and compassion. The love and longing you express for her is beautiful, and it reflects the covenant bond that God has established between husband and wife. Scripture tells us, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24). This oneness is sacred, and it grieves us to hear that there are those who seek to disrupt it through manipulation or demonic influence.
We take seriously the reality of spiritual warfare, for the Bible warns us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke every scheme of the enemy aimed at your wife, your marriage, or your family. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ to bind every spirit of division, manipulation, or harm in His mighty name.
We pray for your wife’s protection, both physically and spiritually. May the Lord surround her with His angels, as it is written, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11). May she walk in discernment and wisdom, not being swayed by the intentions of those who seek to use her. We ask that the Holy Spirit would fill her with peace and remind her of your love and the strength of your covenant together. May she return to you safely, strengthened in her faith and resolve.
We also lift you up, dear brother, in this time of separation. It is natural to feel concern and longing, but we encourage you to place your trust in the Lord. "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Use this time to draw near to God, to pray for your wife, and to stand firm in your faith. The enemy may seek to exploit this separation, but we declare that God will use it for good, knitting your hearts even closer together.
We must gently address a concern in your request: it is vital to approach God in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can come before the Father. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). It is through His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to God’s throne of grace. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this marriage to You, asking for Your divine protection over this wife as she travels. Lord, surround her with Your angels and shield her from every scheme of the enemy. Give her discernment and wisdom, and let her feel the love of her husband even from afar. We rebuke every spirit of manipulation, division, or harm, and we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper.
Father, we ask that You would strengthen this husband as he waits for his wife’s return. Fill him with Your peace and remind him of Your faithfulness. May this time of separation draw them both closer to You and to one another. We pray for those who seek to cause harm, that their hearts would be softened and their eyes opened to the truth of Your love. May they be delivered from any demonic influence and come to know You as their Savior.
Lord, we thank You for the covenant of marriage and the love that You have placed in their hearts. We ask that You would bless this union, protect it, and use it for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
