Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. We lift up your mother to the Lord with deep concern for her safety as she travels to her brother’s funeral. The fear and distress you feel over those accompanying her, people who have been influenced by darkness and have sought harm, is not taken lightly. We stand firmly on the truth that God is her ultimate protector, and no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy may seek to use these individuals to bring fear or harm, but we declare that the Lord is her refuge and fortress, her God in whom she trusts (Psalm 91:2).
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We ask You to surround your daughter with Your holy angels, encamping around her to guard her in all her ways (Psalm 91:11). Lord, we rebuke every spirit of deception, violence, and harm that may be at work through those traveling with her. We command these spirits to flee in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for your mother. Give her the strength to set boundaries and the courage to remove herself from any situation that does not align with Your will. If these individuals persist in their harmful ways, Lord, expose their intentions and thwart their plans. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may Your truth prevail (John 1:5).
We encourage you to continue praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), trusting that God hears your cries and sees your heart. Lean on Him in this time of anxiety, for He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7). If possible, we also encourage you to share your concerns with your mother in a way that does not incite fear but reminds her of God’s protection and love. Remind her that she is not alone, for the Lord goes before her and will never leave nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:8).
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. We trust in You, the One who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Keep her safe, Lord, and bring her home under Your watchful care. Amen.

The prayer has been offered, and it shall be offered again. The Lord is a wall of fire round about His people, and though your ### walks among those you have found treacherous, He is able to keep her from falling and to bring her safely through. You need an infinite Friend to keep you in safety against all the machinations of your adversaries, and so does she. Our safety lies not in human guardianship but in our Savior, God our Savior.
I will pray that the Lord sends His angel to guard her path, that He frustrates every device of wicked men and every assault of the powers of darkness, and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. Whatever evil may threaten, whether from men or from demons, it must bow before the name of Christ, for He has spoiled principalities and powers and made a show of them openly.
Yet I would not have her place herself presumptuously in the way of danger. Since these companions are unsafe, pray that the Lord will either separate her from their influence or so fill her with the Holy Spirit that their counsel cannot move her. The promise of angelic protection belongs to those who walk in God's appointed ways. May the Lord so order her steps that she is kept in the path of obedience and guarded in it.
Above all, I ask for her soul. A journey to a ###'s grave is a voice from eternity. May she hear in it the call of God, and if she has not yet fled to Christ for refuge, may danger and sorrow drive her to the only Savior. Let this week not end with only her body preserved, but with her heart resting in the Lord Jesus.

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. I will pray for your mother's safety and for God's protection over her as she travels to her brother's funeral. The Lord is a stronghold for those who fear Him, and He is able to keep her from all harm, even among those you have reason to distrust. Do not let fear take root in your heart. Be sober and watchful, for the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, but Christ is your guide and your confidence.
Pray against any evil intent, and ask God to frustrate the plans of those who would use this journey to cause harm. Whatever spiritual forces may be at work, we know that Christ has conquered them, and we can pray with boldness for her protection. Honor your mother by entrusting her to God's care rather than to your own anxious watching. You cannot control the hearts of her companions, but you can commit them all to the righteous Judge. Pray also for their repentance, for if they are indeed under demonic influence, they are in a dangerous spiritual state.

Thank you for sharing this burden and for your love and concern for your mother in this time of loss. Grief is heavy, and it is understandable to feel anxious when someone you love is traveling with people you do not trust, especially when you have seen those people cause hurt before.
Scripture teaches that real safety is found in the Lord. A horse can be prepared for battle and a watchman can stay awake through the night, but unless the Lord keeps the city and guards the house, the watching and the preparation are in vain. That does not mean we ignore wisdom and practical care, but it does mean our deepest trust for your mother's protection should be placed in the Lord himself, not in circumstances or in other people.
The Bible also shows that demonic spirits are real. They are intelligent spirit beings, not just vague influences. At times Jesus encountered people under their power who could not be restrained even with chains, and those spirits recognized His authority and begged Him not to send them to the place of confinement reserved for them before their time. They can influence people to do cruel and harmful things that cannot be explained in any other way, and because they are spirits, a person cannot simply hide from them behind a locked door. Yet the same passages show that they are completely subject to Jesus. He commands them and they must obey.
That is why it is so important to keep ourselves in the love of God and to walk close to Him. We cannot turn away from the Lord and still expect to live under His protection. To be kept safe is to stay near Him, to watch and to keep our lives clean before Him as we wait for His return.
In your concern for your mother, you can come directly to Jesus. There is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. We are not taught anywhere in Scripture to seek Mary or any other person to carry our requests to Him. When Jesus was told that His mother and brothers were outside wanting to speak with Him, He pointed to His disciples and said that His mother and brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it. He did not direct people to go through His mother to reach Him. You have direct access to Him yourself, and He invites you to bring your mother to Him in prayer.
God also commands us to honor our father and mother, and a mother's influence is powerful for good. Your desire to see your mother protected and blessed is honoring to the Lord. Continue to show that honor by praying for her and by speaking truth to her in love when you have opportunity.

We ask that You would keep her safe on this journey, guard her steps, and surround her with Your presence. Restrain any intent to harm, and do not allow any evil influence to have power over her.
