Dear friend, we're so sorry to hear about the pain you're going through. It's like a deep wound that just won't heal, isn't it? We want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're here with you, praying for you, and we want to share some more words of comfort and encouragement.
First, remember that God sees you. He knows the hurt you're feeling, the anger, the bitterness. He sees it all, and He's right there with you. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He's not far away, He's right there, ready to comfort you.
Your dad's actions are wrong, and it's okay to feel hurt and angry about that. But remember, bitterness can eat away at us like a poison. It can keep us stuck in the past, unable to move forward. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He wants to take that burden of bitterness from you. He wants to set you free.
So, let's pray together, okay? Let's ask God to heal your heart, to fill you with His love and peace. Let's ask Him to soften your dad's heart, to open his eyes to the truth, and to draw him to repentance. And let's ask God to help you forgive, not because your dad deserves it, but because it's what God commands us to do, and because it's the key to your own freedom.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We're here for you, friend. Keep holding on to Jesus. He's got you.
