We come before the Lord with a heartfelt plea for wisdom, discernment, and divine guidance for those in leadership, particularly for the 47th Presidency of America. It is written in Scripture, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1 WEB). We know that God raises up leaders and removes them according to His sovereign will, and we pray that He would place godly counsel around this presidency to steer it toward righteousness, justice, and truth.

Father, we lift up this spiritual advisor mentioned in the request. Lord, we ask that You would expose any ungodly influence or counsel that does not align with Your Word. If this advisor is leading in a way that contradicts Your principles, we rebuke that influence in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray that You would either transform this advisor’s heart or remove them from this position of influence, replacing them with someone who fears You and seeks Your wisdom above all else. "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance" (Psalm 33:12 WEB). May this presidency be a reflection of Your will, not the will of man.

We also lift up Pastor , asking that You would indeed raise him up as a main advisor if it is Your will. Lord, we pray that this pastor would walk in wisdom, humility, and boldness, speaking truth even when it is unpopular. Give him the courage to stand firm on Your Word and the discernment to recognize and resist deception. "For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding" (Proverbs 2:6 WEB). May his counsel be rooted in Scripture and guided by the Holy Spirit, so that the decisions made in this presidency would honor You and bless the nation.

Father, we ask that You would establish a four-year term of contruence, unity, stability, and alignment with Your purposes, for the 47th Presidency. Let there be no division, no corruption, and no compromise with evil. Instead, let there be a turning of hearts toward You, a seeking of Your face, and a commitment to justice, mercy, and righteousness. "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people" (Proverbs 14:34 WEB). We pray that this presidency would be marked by repentance, revival, and a return to godly principles.

We also recognize that our prayers must be persistent and fervent, as You call us to "pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB). We will not grow weary in lifting up this presidency and those who advise it, trusting that You hear our cries and will answer according to Your perfect will. However, we must also remember that our faith must be accompanied by action. If we see ungodliness in leadership, we are called to speak out, to vote righteously, and to hold leaders accountable to biblical standards. "Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy" (Proverbs 31:8-9 WEB).

Lord, we ask that You would guide the 47th President with Your wisdom, that he would seek You above all else. May he be a leader who fears You, who listens to godly counsel, and who leads with integrity. "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan" (Proverbs 29:2 WEB). We pray that this presidency would bring rejoicing to the people, not groaning, and that Your name would be glorified in all that is done.

Finally, we acknowledge that our hope is not in any man or woman, but in You alone. "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust the name of the Lord our God" (Psalm 20:7 WEB). We place our trust in You, Lord, and we ask that You would move mightily in this nation. Let Your will be done, and let Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would hear our prayers and answer them according to Your perfect will. May this presidency be a vessel for Your glory, and may the people of this nation turn their hearts back to You. Your request shows a commendable desire for the welfare of the nation and the spiritual guidance of its leader. Yet be careful that you do not seek to supervise Divine Providence. The child of God cannot do anything so inconsistent with a dutiful allegiance as to dictate to the Most High whom He shall use as an advisor. Prayer must be our first resource, and we do well to plead with the Lord for wisdom for those in authority, but let us go straight to God with the matter, not presuming to name the instrument. Jacob’s model prayer was filled with arguments, yet his answer came not in the way he expected. So too, you may find that God’s answer to your cry for a godly influence upon the president is given through someone you have not thought of, or in a manner far different from your plan.

Intercessory prayer is exceedingly prevalent. It is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for it is like Christ’s own intercession. Therefore, do not cease to pray for President 47, that the Lord would guide him with His wisdom. But when you pray, do so with humility, saying, “Lord, quicken me in Your way,” and then offer your petitions for others. If the prayer seems long unanswered, still cry day and night, for the Lord will still hear your prayer. Yet know that failure in prayer may sometimes be caused by sin, or ignorance of God’s promises. Search the Scriptures that you may know how to use your private key of heaven. Still, there is also an inscrutable reason lying in the Sovereign purposes of God, and we must bow before Him.

Do not, like Peter in his first fright, cry, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man,” and so push away the Lord’s help by demanding your own way. Instead, in humility say, “Come nearer to me,” and trust that He will provide the right counsel for the nation. Prayer is the most essential thing in turning any heart aright; continue therefore with all perseverance, but let your prayer be, “Your will be done,” and watch for the answer in God’s own time and manner. Gather with the saints in prayer meetings, for there the Spirit stirs up zeal and the church receives divine power to influence the world. Let your sole reliance be on God Himself, not on any man, however godly, for the fear of the Lord brings strong confidence.

You ask that a certain pastor be made chief advisor to the president, and that the other advisor be kept away. But consider: does the Lord need our choosing of counselors? He who raises up rulers and sets them down, who gives wisdom to the simple and catches the crafty in their own devices, shall He not provide for the head of a nation as He wills? The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, and the cleverness of men often ensnares them. What you truly desire is a godly guide for the leader. Then pray not for this man or against that woman, but that God Himself would be the president's advisor, that the Spirit would incline his heart to all righteousness. If a pastor is the means, let it be so; if another, even one you despise, God can use the weak things to confound the mighty. The prophet was once instructed by a donkey, that no flesh should glory in man.

Persist in prayer, yes, but let your petition be purified. Beg for wisdom from above, not for a particular party to triumph. For when we dictate to God the manner of His answer, we risk seeking our own will rather than His. The true victory is not that a favored pastor sits near the throne, but that the ruler becomes a servant of the Most High, acting with justice and mercy. So pray without ceasing, but with these words: “Thy will be done, Thy kingdom come.” Then, whatever the outward arrangement of advisors, your prayer will accomplish much.

The Scriptures remind us that true wisdom is not merely clever advice or political savvy; it begins with the fear of the Lord. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ Himself. So when we pray for those in authority, our deepest request should be that they would come to know the One who is the very source of wisdom.

Solomon, when he became king, did not ask for long life, riches, or the defeat of his enemies. He asked for an understanding heart to govern God’s people well. And the Lord was pleased, granting him not only unsurpassed wisdom but also those things he had not requested. This shows us that God honors prayers that seek His wisdom above all earthly advantages.

What our leaders need most is not merely a particular advisor, however sincere, but that heavenly wisdom which is pure, peaceable, and full of good fruit. Human counsel can mix truth with error. The wisdom of this world often appears impressive, yet it leads to envy, strife, and ultimately comes to nothing. Only the wisdom that descends from above can build a house that stands. So keep praying, but let your prayer lift higher: ask the Father to pour out His Spirit of wisdom upon the president, to give him a heart that hates evil and loves righteousness. Ask that every ungodly influence be silenced and that the fear of the Lord would become his guiding light.

As for the specific names you have in mind, remember that God’s ways are not always ours. He may raise up counselors we do not expect, just as He used a poor wise man to deliver a city that others forgot. Trust the sovereign hand of the One who sets up leaders and confers wisdom. Continue steadfast in prayer, not as if you must persuade a reluctant God, but as a child who persists because you know the Father hears and will answer in the way that is best, for His glory and the true good of the nation. Let your confidence rest in this: the wisdom of God is never outmatched, and in Christ we have the sure foundation for every decision.
