We rejoice with you in thanking God for the gift of your cousin's life and for bringing him to this birthday. Every life is fearfully and wonderfully made by our Creator and every year is a gift of His grace. We join you in lifting your cousin before the throne of grace today.
We pray together for him, that the Lord would bless him and keep him and make His face to shine upon him and be gracious to him as it is written in Numbers 6:24-26. We ask that God would teach him to number his days, that he may gain a heart of wisdom as Psalm 90:12 says, and that he would know how deeply he is loved and purposed by God, for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works in Ephesians 2:10. Our prayer is that this new year of life would be marked by growth, by joy, by health, and most of all by a closer walk with the Lord, for Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
We also want to gently share something important with you out of love. We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want you to know that we pray in the name of Jesus because it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because of what Jesus has done for us on the cross and through His resurrection that we can boldly bring every request to God and know He hears us. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord, and to encourage your cousin to do the same, for that is the greatest gift and the truest hope for any birthday.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we thank You for our dear cousin whose birthday we celebrate today. We thank You for his life, for Your hand upon him from his mother's womb as Psalm 139:14 declares, and for every year You have sustained him. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would bless him abundantly in this coming year, draw him close to Yourself, guide his steps, guard his heart and mind, and fulfill Your good purposes for him. May he grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with You and with others. Give him joy, strength, and a deep assurance of Your love. And may this birthday be a reminder of Your faithfulness and a new beginning of walking more closely with You. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our salvation, amen.

It is a good and fitting thing to give thanks unto the Lord for life and for the mercy which has spared your cousin to see another birthday. All the year round, every hour of every day, God is richly blessing us, and such crowning mercies suggest special and crowning thanksgiving. We join with you in blessing God for His goodness to your cousin on this day.
We pray that the Lord will bless your cousin indeed, and that the blessing may be that true spiritual blessing which comes not by chance but from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. May grace and peace be multiplied to him in this new year of life, and may he know the blessing of a new heart and a new spirit, being made willing in the day of His power to trust in Christ alone for salvation.
