Dear Lord,

Thank you that Your mercies are renewed for us every morning. We definitely need it. Lord, we pray for our hearts and others who are quick to become angry. Sometimes we get irritated, annoyed, or frustrated so easily and then we let out our anger. Instead, we should slow down and allow Your Holy Spirit to calm us and speak to us. Thank you for the grace You have for us. Please forgive us for the words we speak to each other and the way we talk to one another. There are times that we do not guard what comes out of our mouths and instead, say whatever we want. This is not how You desire us to be. You desire us to be constrained and self-controlled so that we would not say something that would be hurtful or dishonoring. We need to learn to be more restrained in our words.
