Thank You for how busy we have been lately. We appreciate the opportunity, as well as the desire we both have, to work hard. Shape us into a couple who is diligent and efficient in our work. Help us organize our days to make the best use of our time. God, will You show us how to honor You in our places of work, whether that be at home or outside the home? May we never complain about our responsibilities or whom we work alongside. Remove any negative thoughts we have, and train us...

 

Dear Lord,

We ask You to help us press into our relationship so we can experience a closeness like we never have before. Cultivate an atmosphere of openness and receptivity that allows us to be comforted by each other in beautiful and deep ways. May we seek and find fulfillment in each other’s embrace instead of seeking it on our own or in ways that create unhealthy habits.

Humble us, especially in intense moments when we want to place blame on one another. Remind us of the grace You have extended to us—how You had the authority to blame us for our sin, yet chose to forgive and wash us white as snow. That is unconditional love! Thank You for taking away our shame and showing us mercy. Lord, instead of blaming one another, we ask You to help us to love unconditionally and extend amazing grace.
