In this life, there will be storms. Storms that cause our world to rock and shake. Storms the make us feel like we are sinking. Lord, bring peace and calm to the storms. Remind us that You are with us and that You control the waters.

Dear Lord,

There are days that we seem to be easily frustrated and angered, and when we have less patience and understanding. Our emotions seem to run wild, and we feel as though we have no control. Our family suffers when we act like this. Love is hindered in our home when we walk in this way. Lord, forgive us for allowing our flesh to run out of control. God, we know that You desire for us to walk in complete control of our spirit. You desire that we would yield it to You every moment of...

 

Dear Lord,

Thank you for my spouse. Thank you that You have used them to teach me how to be more like You. God, teach me and inspire me to love my spouse in new and special ways. Teach me to think of them more often. God, I want my spouse to feel so cherished and loved by me.

Dear Lord,

We pray for husbands and wives to keep Your words deep in their hearts. We pray that they would know Your Word and love it as well. Lord, we pray that we would not only know Your Word but that we would do Your Word. May we walk in the commands that You gave us. You say in Your word that the one who hears and obeys the commands that You gave are the ones that love you and Lord, we love you.

Thank you for another day to grow and learn in our faith. Marriage has been one of the greatest tools You have used to shape our faith and character and we thank you for that. Lord, we pray that husbands and wives would strive toward oneness with each other. We pray they would take what 1 Corinthians 7:4 says seriously. We pray we would take it seriously. Lord, make us one. Bring us closer together than ever before.

Thank you for the beautiful gift of sex. Thank you that You have given us sex as a way to grow closer together, build trust, relieve stress, strengthen our bond, give pleasure, and create children. Lord, we pray for husbands and wives to intentionally work on the sexual intimacy in their marriage. We pray that they would grow in oneness.
