Praise God for what He has done for me!! I have a lot to Praise God for. He has Blessed me more than words can express. I cant even begin to count all the things that God has Bless me with. God's Word says that we are over comers by the words of our testimonies and the blood of the Lamb(JESUS). He has taken away the pain of Arthritis in my feet and legs. I don't need the steroid injections in my knees to eliminate the pain. God has bless me in that I now can control my Blood sugars. I still take insulin shots but I can control it with Gods help and it does not control me. I praise God every morning when I awake. I thank Him for allowing me to still be here and able to praise Him. Its the little things like that, I cant thank Him enough...
The Lord Is My Shepherd according to Psalm 23 I want to thank God for sending me His Shepherd, Jesus Christ to be my Shepherd so that I will not be wanting Provisions because He will make all Provisions for me according to Psalm 23:1. He will supply all my needs according to His riches He has in Glory. I will not be begging for Bread because He will Provide for me. Praise His Holy Name!! And according to Psalm 23:2 He will Give me Green Pastures to lay down in not only for Comfort but to Graze in as His Sheep in His Pastures. He will Lead me also to the Provision of Still Waters to Provide me with the water I will need in addition to the food of His Pasture. Praise god I will never go lacking for food or water because He will make...
MAGNOLIAS..........By Edna Ellison I spent the week before my daughter's June wedding running last-minute trips to the caterer, florist, tuxedo shop, and the church about forty miles away. As happy as I was that Patsy was marrying a good Christian young man, I felt laden with responsibilities as I watched my budget dwindle . .. So many details, so many bills, and so little time. My son Jack was away at college, but he said he would be there to walk his younger sister down the aisle, taking the place of his dad who had died a few years before. He teased Patsy, saying he'd wanted to give her away since she was about three years old! To save money, I gathered blossoms from several friends who had large magnolia trees. Their...
Dearly Beloved, we are gathered together here in the presence of God and this company to join (Groom ___________ and (Bride) ___________ in the holy bonds of matrimony. Marriage is an institution ordained of God when man's estate was that of innocence and supreme happiness. God prepared a perfect home for Adam and placed him in the midst of a beautiful garden rich in earth's choicest fruits. He gave him blessed employment, free from anxiety and toil, in caring for the garden. At first man was alone, having no human associate and helper. Birds and beasts and all the living creatures of earth could not bring him satisfaction. God is pictured as noting man's incompleteness and lack of perfect happiness apart from woman. Now follows the...
Ruth went to her mail box and there was only one letter.. She picked it up and looked at it before opening, but then she looked at the envelope again. There was no stamp, no postmark, only her name and address. She read the letter: Dear Ruth: I`m going to be in your neighborhood Saturday afternoon and I'd like to stop by for a visit. Love Always, Jesus Her hands were shaking as she placed the letter on the table. 'Why would the Lord want to visit me? I'm nobody special. I don't have anything to offer.' With that thought, Ruth remembered her empty kitchen cabinets. 'Oh my goodness, I really don't have anything to offer.. I'll have to run down to the store and buy something for dinner.' She reached for her purse...
Untimely death!!!!!!!! DID YOU KNOW THESE FACTS? I SURE DIDNT TILL NOW Death is certain but the Bible speaks about untimely death! Make a personal reflection about this...... Very interesting, read until the end..... It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7): 'Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.. Here are some men and women who mocked God : John Lennon (Singer): Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine, he said: Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about that.. I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, today we are more famous than Him' (1966). Lennon...
Shoes in church I showered and shaved............. I adjusted my tie. I got there and sat.............. In a pew just in time. Bowing my head in prayer......... As I closed my eyes. I saw the shoe of the man next to me..... Touching my own. I sighed. With plenty of room on either side...... I thought, 'Why must our soles touch?' It bothered me, his shoe touching mine... But it didn't bother him much. A prayer began: 'Our Father'............. I thought, 'This man with the shoes, has no pride. They're dusty, worn, and scratched. Even worse, there are holes on the side!' 'Thank You for blessings,' the prayer went on. The shoe man said............... A quiet 'Amen.' I tried to focus on the prayer....... But my thoughts...
Five Finger Prayer This is so neat. I had never heard this before. This is beautiful - and it is surely worth making the 5 finger prayer a part of our lives. 1. Your thumb is nearest you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a ' sweet duty. ' 2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers. 3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators...
Please read all before viewing the picture-it is so worth it. A picture began circulating in November, it should be the picture of the year, or perhaps the picture of the decade but its not! In fact, unless you obtained a copy of this US paper from the publisher you probably would have never seen it. The picture is that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas who is being operated on by surgeon Joseph Bruner. The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from his mother's womb. Julie Armas is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta, Ga. and she knew of Dr. Bruner's remarkable ability. Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville he performs these special operations while the...
