```html "DID YOU REALLY WANT ### TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE AFTER YOUR DIVORCE?" No, I did not. I have never talked with a prodigal who seriously desired that their one-flesh mate find and become involved with someone else. They may exist, but I have never encountered a prodigal whose heart-felt desire was that someone else take their place. I do know, however, scores of prodigals who went haywire when their abandoned spouse began to date. Why then, do we prodigals carry on about our abandoned mates finding someone else and getting on with life, when we do not really mean it? To alleviate our own guilt. We attempt to justify that if our spouse was involved with someone, we would not appear as guilty to family, to friends, and even to God...
The Eyes Have It They went right into the house where he was staying, and Jesus asked them, “Do you believe I can make you see?” “Yes, Lord,” they told him, “we do.” Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” Matthew 9:28-29 (NLT) In the Bible, our eyes are utilized as a representation of a person’s ability to obtain the light of God. They are symbols of our mental understanding and spiritual character. As believers we receive His grace, which is compared to the opening of eyes so we may see what He is doing. Our God is a God of order. Nothing He does is by chance. For instance, it is not an accident that at the hub of the solar system is the Sun, providing light. Life is driven by light. Without...
Have you ever been in a place in your life or maybe you are there right now, where you have felt overwhelming despair. How long has it been since you have felt healing love, if ever? A love so great, it heals all that is broken within you, heart and soul. Do you see yourself as a broken vessel, worthless and no hope? Are you brokenhearted, have you been down a path that you wish you had not taken? You have messed up royally along the way and hurt many people or maybe even destroyed some lives. Maybe you have lost loved ones and you are feeling all alone. You are also probably wondering about me and what I could possibly know about any of the situations mentioned above. Well I know a lot; life experience has taught me a lot about not...
FREEDOM FOR THE PRISONERS! Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him. He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read. The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." Luke 4:14-19 What an awesome promise from...
The rain is coming down, the wind is blowing hard. I'm thinking: "What's the reason for leaving without love?" If you go through day day, just do things for a pay. And maybe have some passion to brighten you hard day. But if you have no love, you don't know know how to give You may as well be robot- why do you need to live? If no one's out there to care for and love No matter what you are earning - there's no joy in all that stuff But try doing things for others, and you will be alright. You'll find a whole new meaning, And future will be bright
Scriptures Against Fear The following is a list of scriptures on fear. Use them when fear is attempting to come. Fear does not necessarily mean danger, it simply means fear. We associate fear with danger because that is how our body interacts with our God given motivation for self-preservation. When we go into a dark room, we might sense fear, especially if we are apprehensive about the dark, but that does not mean that there actually is a danger. It only means that there is an unknown, and that unknown can breed fear — fear of the unknown. To fight the fear of the unknown, counteract it with faith based on the known — the known will of God. All Scriptures are from the King James Version The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He...
Scriptures Against Hopelessness These scriptures on hopelessness will give you hope and will build your faith. Confess and meditate on them to win the fight against hopelessness. The whole fight is about not losing Hope. Allow the hope of God to flow into you. Remember, there is a real Person (God) behind each and every one of these promises. He promised them to you for a reason — to help you. Depression is the emotional result of hopelessness. Joy is the emotional result of hope. Peace is the emotional result of faith. God’s hope encourages, motivates, and keeps you on the road to faith, peace, and victory. Hopelessness breeds and creates the ‘feeling’ of depression. Fight it with the Word of God. And if you suffer from deep...
Lately, I have been seeing lives all around me falling apart with troubles of every sort. Knowing I was powerless to fix these problems myself; I called on the Lord and He gave me revelation by His word. John 12:24 states, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He also showed me many more scriptures about the shaking of things in the earth and in the heavens, scriptures about families falling apart and family member being enemies, one against another. Scriptures about love waxing cold, and peace was leaving. The scriptures list was very lengthy and certainly wasn't very positive. The Lord let me know He wasn't interested in...
