PRAY FOR SOULS TO BE CHANGED FOREVER! "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness." 2 Timothy 2:19 Will you start preparing your heart to worship your Lord Jesus Christ this Lord's Day? God receives you, just as you are. But then He wants to work in your life, to make you all that He desires you to be in the future. Ask the Lord today to show you if there is anything that needs to be removed or cleansed from your own personal life, such as any hidden sin. Ask the Lord to reveal to you if there is anyone you still have not truly forgiven. If you ask the Lord these questions, He will show you and cleanse you from any and all unrighteousness. Will you pray for your husband or wife to be set free from all...
Thanksgiving is upon us again. It's already almost here once more. How quickly time goes by. This is the time of year for us to reflect on God's faithfulness and all he has done for us. It helps us see how far we have come and how much we are blessed. I find when I focus on my blessings, it takes my mind away from the negative. It soothes my soul. We have the blessing of another day. We have the blessing of being able to come to this site. This site is a blessing in so many ways, we have others who pray for us and with us while we pray with and for others. WE can find friends on this site that we would otherwise, never know....people all over the world......Prayer is a blessing. The ability to have a conversation with our Heavenly...
PRODIGALS DO GO TO CHURCH! I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth. Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. Psalm 108:3-6 Are you praying every week that your beloved husband or wife will attend a church service? Do you pray that the Holy Spirit will speak the exact message that your beloved husband or wife as a prodigal needs to hear? We all need to pray every week and especially on the weekends. A pastor may change his sermon if the Holy Spirit speaks to their heart to say the...
Have You Started Rebuilding Your Home? By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. Proverbs 24:3-4 Have you been having marriage problems for awhile? Has your home been falling apart by your spouse saying that they do not love you or they are not happy so they are going to get a divorce? Do not allow the words of the enemy to destroy you! Your spouse is living and acting by their emotions and feelings and are deceived by the enemy. Have you fallen into the trap of arguing and fighting or have you started crying out for God’s help in your marriage crisis? Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD: O LORD, hear my voice. Let your ears...
LORD, PROTECT MY REPUTATION & INTEGRITY A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. Proverbs 22:1 How often do you say your name daily at work or at school or at a doctor's office? If you call anyone on the telephone, you must identify yourself with your name. Depending on where you work, you can call certain people and have leverage in your telephone call because of your name or your company's name. Around the world, we know the names of well-known people who are movie stars, singers, politicians, radio-show hosts, football players or well-known pastors or evangelists, but some of them do not have a good reputation. How is your memory with people's names? Can you remember your...
This is another article from the Faith and Marriage Ministries Website. I hope it blesses you as it has me. Scroggymommy5 Theresa Marriage, Divorce & Remarriage Since a lot of email and phone calls from visitors to the website and FAM Fellowship members concern questions regarding whether or not it’s okay to stand for a second or subsequent marriage, and specific answers to these questions MUST come to each of us from the Lord through serious Bible study and seeking His will through prayer and fasting, this page is provided to answer such questions only in general terms and its primary purpose is to address some of the things churches and Christian leaders teach and promote that are not supported by what the Bible actually says...
This article is from the Faith and Marriage Website and I found it to be very helpful in my STAND for my marriage. I hope it blesses you. Scroggymommy5 Theresa When Your Spouse Remarries One of the most absurd and outrageous false teachings rampant in the Christian church today concerning marriage, divorce and remarriage is that when adulterers get married, they’re no longer committing adultery in the eyes of God! Since that is SO TOTALLY CONTRARY to what Jesus himself taught, there’s NO doubt that’s one of Satan’s MOST destructive and effective weapons against marriage, because Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today And forever. And even more importantly, Jesus himself told us in Matthew 24:35, Heaven...
Lately, my STAND for my marriage has become EXTREMELY difficult. At times, I have considered giving it all up. In a way, giving up brings about an ultimate peace, BUT it is JUST not to be. The Lord has awakened me! He has renewed my strength! He is commisioning me at this very moment to continue to STAND, UNMOVEABABLE! Seven months ago, when my stand began, things were very different. My husband was just entering into this adultery. It was all new, exciting, vibrant and he just couldn't resist! So he left that morning, 3/18/13, very well knowing what he was walking in to. Now here it is, all of these months later. The adultery has evolved in to non-covenant marriage. I have been SHAKEN to my very core by all that has come against me...
BOOKENDS They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me. Psalm 18:18-19 The bookends sitting on the shelf behind my desk have been a part of my life for about 45 years. Those two pyramid-shaped pieces of white polished stone were a gift from my parents in 1963 when I graduated from high school. One of the two bookends now has a chip, but they are not in bad condition, considering where they have been. The bookends went to Cincinnati with me when I attended Mortuary Science College. When Charlyne and I married, those bookends moved to a new home, which was supposed to be for a lifetime. In 1974, after I had been called...
An older Christian woman I know picked up a “bug†while on a trip. On the airplane flying home, she grew desperately sick. Thinking that if she would confess away thesickness, she would be instantly well, she said repeatedly, “I feel fine.†That formula didn’t work. Next, she remembered a speaker who had urged that we are to praise the Lord in all things, so she began saying, “Lord, I thank You that I am sick.†That didn’t cure her illness, so she tried yet another stratagem, based on the title of a book she had read: Don’t Waste Your Sorrows. “Lord,†she said, “I know You are going to use this sickness for some good. I don’t want this experience to be wasted.†Still, nothing in her condition changed. Finally, in...
