SANCTITY OF LIFE SUNDAY For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139:13-16 Do you know that today is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday? May you and I pray for all women who have been pregnant and did not know what to do and thought abortion was the only answer. “Lord, I pray that you will send someone who has hope for any teenager or young woman or a...
A Standers Affirmation I AM STANDING FOR THE HEALING OF MY MARRIAGE!... I will not give up, give in, give out or give over 'til that healing takes place. I made a vow, I said the words, I gave the pledge, I gave a ring, I took a ring, I gave myself, I trusted GOD, and said the words, and meant the words... in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in good times and in bad...so I am standing NOW, and will not sit down, let down, slow down, calm down, fall down, look down or be down 'til the breakdown is torn down! I refuse to put my eyes on outward circumstances, or listen to prophets of doom, or buy into what is trendy, worldly, popular, convenient, easy, quick, thrifty, or...
I decided to share this for any of you who may have gone through or are currently living this kind of a nightmare. It sure gave me hope. I hope it encourages you as well! May God Bless Each Of You! Scroggymommy5 He Led a Double Life Scott Jennings lived in a world of lies, affairs, and deceit—until it all fell apart. by Mary May Larmoyeux Scott Jennings never dreamed he would cross the line. But somehow it happened. He was unhappy at home. He loved Sherry, but … well, she was the boss at her work, and she acted like the boss at home. When things needed to be done, she would tell Scott what to do. And he got tired of it. He wasn’t one to talk about his emotions. So he turned inward. He would escape to the fire station—where...
DO YOU PUT ON THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD? Finally, be strong in the LORD and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. Ephesians 6:10-11 Did you put the full Armor of God on yourself, your spouse and your children today? Your answer is very important to you and to your family. You may have never been taught in church, Bible study class, or have read a book about the Armor of God, but I want you to learn this truth now. I pray that you are one of our standers who have chosen to memorize God’s Word. If not, you can sign up today and join us in memorizing different verses of the Bible by clicking here to join in Hiding God’s Word in Your Heart. Have you known...
IN YOUR ANGER - DO NOT SIN! Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body. “In your anger do not sinâ€: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Ephesians 4:25-27 Are you battling anger in your own personal life against your husband or wife, the other person or someone else? As we read email and letters, we hear you express and admit that you are harboring anger, rage, jealousy, or bitterness. You may even admit that you are angry at God. Don't worry, God knows your heart anyway. The enemy is now attacking you. Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not...
A QUICK START GUIDE TO STANDING - Part 2 Who is wise? He will realize these things. Who is discerning? He will understand them. The ways of the LORD are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them." Hosea 14:9 Here is the second part of Bob's quick start guide. 12. No other human can tell you the exact day your prodigal will repent and come home. We know of too many good standers who have been almost destroyed when someone traveling through town prophesies an exact date for restoration, and that date comes and goes without anything happening. The date is God’s business and not man’s. As a stander, you need to live every day as though today was your day of restoration. Wake up every day looking down the...
A QUICK START GUIDE TO STANDING - Part 1 "Who is wise? He will realize these things. Who is discerning? He will understand them. The ways of the LORD are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them." Hosea 14:9 If you have ever unpacked a new printer or some other computer accessory, underneath the Styrofoam packing, you probably discovered a thick operating manual. My first thought each time I open something new is that I will never master everything in the manual. Dig a bit deeper into the box and you will probably find a quick start guide, with just enough information to get you started using your new device. It is not intended to answer all the questions, but only to get you going in the right direction. I...
In Search of God’s Love When I was growing up I had 2 wonderful parents; they love me and my brothers and sister and we knew it. They would discipline us from time to time and even let me and my hard head find out the right things to do the hard way; by trial and error; by experience. Even though I did not like being punished, I still knew that my parents loved me. I never separated the discipline with their love for me. I just knew that they did. Why is it so different with God? Why is it so hard for us to just take God at His Word and His sacrifice and believe in His abounding, never-ending, unselfish love for us? With our parents we know they love us even in times of discipline, yet with God we cannot seem to grasp that the...
FORGIVE AND LOVE - JUST LIKE GOD As parents, we love our children unconditionally. They may do wrong things, small or at times big, but we continue to love them. Some children lie, others steal and some have behavioral problems. We hurt, as parents, to see our own children commit sin. Some of us may have more serious issues like unwanted pregnancy, teenage attitude problems, addictions to alcohol, drugs, pornography, etc. But we do not hold a grudge against them. Then why against our spouses? We forgive our children instantly, then why not our spouses? We do everything possible to free our children and solve their problems so they continue to lead a good life. We are hurt when we first find out about this. But we do not break our...
Hello every one I am hoping and praying this new year has been good for all of you. I am not sure what is going on on the other side of the mountain but it must be good because I have been being attacked like never before. I wont lie but doubt has been creeping in my mind daily and I have to keep reminding myself of God's promise. Not only has He promised us eternal life if we follow Him, but us as standers He has promised restoration of our marriage if we trust Him. I found myself several times crying out to God asking Him where He is, why is it getting worse, why are these things happening and so on. I am sure we have all been there before. I then pray to Him asking God do you still want me to stand for my marriage? Is it even...
