```markdown A Call to Repentance ¹About this time Jesus was informed that Pilate had murdered some people from Galilee as they were offering sacrifices at the Temple. ²“Do you think those Galileans were worse sinners than all the other people from Galilee?” Jesus asked. “Is that why they suffered? ³Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. ⁴And what about the eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them? Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem? ⁵No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.” [Luke 13:1-5] But, in lying, trying to convince God that I am "your idol," as if He, being omniscient, doesn’t already know who your real idols are, you've come...
There is a question that always rises up in church and Sunday school. Where should we glorify the Lord? What should we say to Jesus? Well, God's word tells us the truth and nothing but the truth. I will praise the name of God with a song and magnify His name with thanksgiving. Psalm 69:30 We glorify the Lord by our deep faith in Him that whatever we ask in His name He will do great things for us. Salvation cometh from Him alone. Our hearts become full of thanksgiving and praise to Him when we start singing praises to His name. In my life, Lord, Be glorified. Today. Not only in our life but in whatever we do or say Jesus must be praised and glorified. Our soul finds rest in Him alone, when trouble comes along our path, we must...
Call on the Lord when you are in trouble. Call Him when the company has given you a pink slip and tell you that your job will end at the beginning of next month. Pray to God for salvation of your soul. Maybe God is trying your faith and you must trust in Him alone. Call to Jesus the Messiah. The hope of all the world. He will save your soul. He will send blessing to your life. Jesus will help you overcome the word. He will make you a blessing to others. My heart belongs to Jesus. I am trusting in His word. He send healing to my body and soul. I shall forever praise and honor His holy name. Amen
```markdown For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body (James 3:2). Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue….” It parallels what the master (Jesus Christ) said in Mathew 12:37, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” Through your thoughts, your character is formed, but it’s expressed through your words. Your mouth-work is your life. As revealed in our opening verse, Christian perfection or maturity is expressed primarily in your communication. If you want to go in the right direction in life, your tongue is the compass. If you offend in words, you’re sunk; but if your...
We all need the Lord's help and grace all the time, not just when things fall apart and we do not know what to do to fix it up. We need Him in His rightful place, holy and pure and wanting us to be just like Him. For when things go awry and we become so confused for those things that happen all of a sudden. Then I know to run to the arms of the Lord and ask for wisdom from heaven. Seeking His face all the time is what we all need to learn and practice. I want to praise You Lord much more than I do, learn to seek Your face and acknowledge more of You. Help me to reach Your heart today and in the future. Amen
It is absolutely amazing, and indeed I remain in continual awe of the Word and ways of God. He has given me much to impart; but first I must acknowledge the Word of confirmation received a few days ago in follow-up to the pronouncement over the city of ###. As I said before, whether individual, church, city, or nation, it's up to the one(s) called, to answer when called. All the messenger can do is deliver the message. If there is one process that I have learned, in my walk with Christ, it is to listen and wait. Therefore, when God said to reach out, I reached out; and, sure enough, no sooner than I heeded God's instruction, did satan attempt to interfere. If God really wants you to go, you need to get up and go, figure out a way to...
Jesus is waiting for you and for me, with open arms He is calling us, telling and begging. Come to Me, I shall give you rest. I said to the Lord. I really want to be a holy habitation where Your holy presence will fill our hearts with blessings, help and mercy. Then I read what David said in Psalm 90:1 Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. A glorious habitation for the Lord our God demands the following traits within our heart. Interaction with Him at all times, communication to Him wherever we are in prayer. Take time to be with Him and trust every single word He said. Start listening quietly to the voice of the Holy Spirit and continue to praise, honor and glorify His holy name. Have a deep desire to be with...
When the night in darkness veiled, it is so obscure this solitary trail before me. This road is hard to run, my soul complains, so weary of the toil and pain in my bones. Yet, trudging on through this barren land, no aid in sight from anyone I see. Then, Jesus shining light appeared before me, I marvelled at the sight of the brightness of His presence. You turned my darkness into light. I am so amazed at the sight. Your brightness blinds my eyes. You made everything right. Picking me up. I was down and out. My life was turned around. I did not have anyone around. Where should I go? What should I be? When I needed the most. Jesus was right there for me. I am so grateful. I shall forever praise Him. My delight...
My life was out of tune, living so far away from the Lord, lost and confused to where to go and what to do. Unhappy and looking for life eternal. My existence was meaningless and out of tune with God's word. But then, one sweet day I met a Savior and Lord of all and it changed everything I had in me. From that day my heart sings a new song. Jesus is my music, Jesus is my song. Jesus is my new Friend. I want to sing praises all day long. I can hear His sweet voice again. He told me the truth. It entered my heart. Like an arrow. It made me so happy. Joy overflowed my soul. Seek the Lord all the humble of the land, you who do what He commands. Seek His righteousness, seek humility, perhaps you will be sheltered on the...
