Take action (1) Friday 2nd November 2018 'Shamgar son of Anath rescued Israel. He once killed 600 Philistines with an ox goad.' Judges 3:31 NLT When's the last time we felt God asking us to do something but we decided against it because we were faced with fear, feelings of inadequacy, doubt or a reluctance to make changes. When God stirs our spirit or moves our hearts, we cannot just sit back and do nothing. We've got to step up and step in. When we do, it can become a defining moment in our lives. Moses didn't believe God had chosen the right person to free the Israelites from slavery. He said to God: 'I am not a good speaker. The king will not listen to me' (Exodus 6:30 NCV). And Shamgar was able to save Israel from the...
The longer you praise the Lord, the longer you shall find happiness, joy and peace. But when our days on earth is coming to a close we should do this.... And on that day when my strenght is failing, the end draws near and my time has come.... Still my soul will sing Your praise unending. Ten thousand years and forever more. The longer we live and enjoy Gods holy presence in our life, the longer our hearts desire is to praise, honor and glorify His holy name. As for me I will bless the Lord all the days of my life. He has healed me from cancer to make sure I give Him all the honor, all the glory and all the praise. Great in kindness and good to all who fear His holy name. His righteousness is all over the place. I will...
Someone because of their looks or what they are wearting? Maybe their clothes you like, or the jewelry or their hair do? Probably their car or truck is nice and you would love to have it. Or the money in the bank. Milllions of dollars they got. A nice house or condo where he or she lives. May be you love yourself for your accomplishments. PhD. Doctoral degree and everything you wanted you got it. Everything shall end when we die. What shall we take to eternity? As for me and my house... I shall love the Lord with all of my heart, mind and soul. Till He calls me home to heaven.
Once and for all Thursday 1st November 2018 'He offered himself once and for all.' Hebrews 9:26 CEV Throughout the Old Testament, we see sacrifices being made by the high priests to atone for the sins of the people. But when Jesus died, he made atonement once and for all, which means we are forgiven for good. The Bible says: 'The high priest enters the Most Holy Place once every year with blood that is not his own. But Christ did not offer himself many times. Then he would have had to suffer many times since the world was made. But Christ came only once and for all time at just the right time to take away all sin by sacrificing himself' (Hebrews 9:25-26 NCV). This one act means that our past, current and future sin has been...
Jesus dislike people to get a divorce. It is not nice and it breaks peoples heart. Besides it is expensive to get a divorce. Divide the house in two and children will suffer the rest of their life. Is it that preachers are not preaching about how damaging divorce can be? Or, people are marrying a young age and no one counsels them before they tie the knot? Are they less educated than the rest of those who are happily married? May be they are living in a premarital cohabitation which is a sin before the Lord? Premarital pregnancy will make anyones life full of worry. Who will raise the baby? Not having Jesus in their heart. Following the world and what unsaved people are doing today. Maybe the parents divorced and now they...
Our life on earth has been given to us to praise, honor and glorify the Lord till He call us home to heaven. Life is an opportunity to share Jesus with others and make sure they get saved and on thieir way to heaven. Life is a beautiful thing given to us love others just as Jesus loved us. Life is a challenge to life holy and pure before the Lord. To overcome sin and evil and live for the glory of God the Father. Love what Paul said to the Philippians. For me to live is Christ and to die is gain. Phil 1.21

Isaiah 40:8 NKJV Here are some more promises from the Bible to encourage us in difficult times: (1) 'You have made...the Most High your protector, and so no disaster will strike you, no violence will come near your home. God will put his angels in charge of you to protect you wherever you go' (Psalm 91:9-11 GNT). (2) 'The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them' (Psalm 34:7 NIV). (3) 'I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed' (Psalm 57:1 NIV). Miracles happen when we bow down before the Lord in worship, in adoration, in praise to Him who has given us wisdom that comes from His holy presence. Only one name needs to be lifted up. That name is Jesus. name above allnames. There is something about that name. He healed lepers, opened the eyes of the blind. Cast out demons out of people who suffered all their life. Precious Jesus, we come to You to love You to thank You to say. You are my Rock and my fortress. To whom shall we go??? You have the words of eternal life. You o Lord is what we need. When trouble comes, when satan sends all kinds of depression, stress, worry and fear.. then we all need You more than ever before. What pastors need to do today are these...
