Psalm 94 1The Lord is a God who avenges. O God who avenges, shine forth. 2Rise up, Judge of the earth; pay back to the proud what they deserve. 3How long, Lord, will the wicked, how long will the wicked be jubilant? 4They pour out arrogant words; all the evildoers are full of boasting. 5They crush your people, Lord; they oppress your inheritance. 6They slay the widow and the foreigner; they murder the fatherless. 7They say, “The Lord does not see; the God of Jacob takes no notice.” 8Take notice, you senseless ones among the people; you fools, when will you become wise? 9Does he who fashioned the ear not hear? Does he who formed the eye not see? 10Does he who disciplines nations not punish? Does he...
Psalm 6 English Standard Version (ESV) O Lord, Deliver My Life A Psalm of David. 6 O Lord, rebuke me not in your anger, nor discipline me in your wrath. 2 Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am languishing; heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled. 3 My soul also is greatly troubled. But you, O Lord—how long? 4 Turn, O Lord, deliver my life; save me for the sake of your steadfast love. 5 For in death there is no remembrance of you; in Sheol who will give you praise? 6 I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping. 7 My eye wastes away because of grief; it grows weak because of all my foes. 8 Depart from me, all you...
```markdown Psalm 139 English Standard Version Search Me, O God, and Know My Heart A Psalm of David. 139 O Lord, you have searched me and known me! 2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. 3 You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. 4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. 5 You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it. 7 Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? 8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! 9 If I take the wings of the...
Psalm 25 Of David. 1 In you, Lord my God, I put my trust, 2 I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. 3 No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause. 4 Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. 5 Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. 6 Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. 7 Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good. 8 Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he...
Psalm 91 1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a] 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You...
Greetings Holy Family; We can only give from what is inside of us. This is where our core-beliefs are located. Consequently 'giving' is subjected to our inner-workings - our god with the lower case 'g' or our God with capital 'G'. The fruits we bear will show which god we serve. We knowingly or unknowingly spend most of our time actively surrendering to our god, no matter which one it may be. We can only give others from what is inside us. But if one is to do onto others as you would want others to do to you, then results would vary from person to person. If our anchor is the bottle, gambling, sex, work, money, and fear, how can we treat others with Love? We would undoubtedly serve the people with substandard actions. The Golden Rule...
I will never ever forget what Jesus said. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul. Love your neighbor as yourself. To love the Lord is to praise Him wherever you are and whatever you are doing. Let us all turn our worries into worship. God will turn our battles into blessings. Once you start glorifying His name, Blessings upon blessings shall come to everyone.
Heavenly Father, thank you for the new bright day and the gift of Life you have given us. Please forgive me for the inequities that may hinder my prayers this morning, for I am a vulnerable creature. I commit my ### Health to this morning. She's in ### in a journey of faith and the weather has really affected her. I pray you restore her health and continue with her rest of the journey together with her colleagues. I also pray that you enable her to thank you for everything you have done for her through her lifetime and especially this pilgrimage. I am having a recruitment process for a teacher today and I pray that you enable us to have a blessed exercise. This is my humble prayer in Jesus Name I pray and believe amen. Amen
When I say "clique," I don't mean a group of friends who hang out together, but also don't mind inviting someone else to join in. I mean when you have a group who thinks their group is the only ones there are, and they shun others outside the group, like they don't feel they have to show courtesy to others outside the clique, and in fact are downright rude to outsiders. They shun them. Now, is this a sin, especially if they shun others, and treat them as unworthy? I would think in some way that it is, because let's face it, Jesus did not approve of favoritism. "God is no respecter of persons." Nor does He approve of snobbery, thinking someone is "better" based on outside appearance and circumstances. For if a rich person comes into the...
