This has helped me about questions on Forgiveness, as Christians, since we have been dealing with Repeated Offenders: Please keep us in Prayers 🙏 "How does forgiveness help you? What is forgiveness? ... Forgiveness can even lead to feelings of understanding, empathy and compassion for the one who hurt you. (Forgiveness doesn't mean forgetting or excusing the harm done to you or making up with the person who caused the harm. Forgiveness brings a kind of peace that helps you go on with life.) People often confuse forgiveness with reconciliation, as if they were the same...
As a believer in Christ, we are in a war - a spiritual war. The battle is very real. We are called to fight. We are soldiers for Christ! We can stand firm and take up our position with the weapons God has given us or we can retreat and hide among the unbelievers and let everyone else do the work. The devil is our enemy - not flesh and blood. The devil uses people to accomplish his purpose. His tactics are predictable and his schemes unrelenting. Do you have the faith and courage and devotion to be the soldier Christ calls us to be? So how do you prepare to fight? Well as a soldier you need to be well trained in all aspects of fighting. One must know the enemy, his devices, his strength and his purposes. The Bible tells us in 1 Peter...
Something strange is going on around our condominium. People do not come out anymore. They are scared to say hello, come out only to buy food and medicine. They do not gather around and the ballroom is empty and unused. We always felt secure within our limits but now everything is turning against us. Even our hands have become our enemy. We can touch something and the virus will be there. We must clean up and sanitize everything we touch. This virus could destroy our lungs and make our life so miserable. Nothing we have brought to this world and nothing we will be able to take to heaven. Trust Jesus with all your heart. He alone can take away all fear, all trembling will go away from you when you turn everything to the Lord. The...
Deuteronomy 6:18: And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the LORD, that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land of which the LORD swore to your fathers, God showed Moses the Promised Land, but did not let him enter in (Numbers 20:11, 12, Deuteronomy 32: 51-52, & 34:4-5). Do you want your promised land? If you want God’s purpose for your life to come to fruition so that you can walk into your promised land you have got to do it God’s way. Pray and ask God to show you your promised land here on earth. Ask God to give you the keys/goals on how to reach your promised land. Read and meditate upon God's Word. Apply God’s Word to Your Life. Obey God's Word. Work on you. Pray and intercede...
June 13, 2020 | From Lawofficer.com Article by ### Lord, we pray for our law enforcement officers around the country. Protect them physically and mentally from all the evil they have to endure daily as they keep us safe. It’s not that law enforcement has changed for the worse but everything around it has. The mentally ill used to get treatment and now they just send cops. Kids used to be taught respect and now it’s cool to be disrespectful. Supervisors used to back you when you were right but now they accuse you of being wrong in order to appease crazy...

The word "change" can stir up many emotions in one's soul. Worry, anxiety, fear all start running through your mind when you even hear the word. But consider this, without change the world, our lives would be stagnant. The same thing, day after day, night after night. It would be the movie Ground Hog Day where we find Bill Murray reliving the same day over and over again. How boring would that be? Not all change is bad? It is all in how you look at it. Moving to a new home and having to go to a new school is often scary. You find yourself wondering if you will make new friends or like the neighbors. Getting married and moving in together is change, especially if you still live with your parents. The birth of your children is a huge...
Life changes all the time but this virus changed our existence the way Jesus wanted to change. Now we pray more than ever before. We can share with all our friends online Jesus, the center of all joy, peace and happiness. More time to read God's word and memorize the Psalms, the Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes. More time with our family and pets. Change is a challenge full of opportunities to learn who we really are. Change is change of mind and of attitude toward death and eternity. Change has become a way of life. Change is to walk in the way of solitude and be close to the heart of the Lord. To seek Him day and night. To tell Him how much we love Him, praise Him and a time to adore His holy name. Change is...
I have no doubt that God can change us when we seek Him with our whole heart. Often times it is little by little but there can be times where He does something amazing and change us in an instant. We just need to ask God for help and allow Him to work in us and through us. We won't be perfect this side of Heaven but when we get up each morning and try our best to be more like Jesus things in our life can change. I am reading an amazing book called "Goliath Must Fall" by Louie Giglio. It is helpful in winning the battle against your giants such as fear, rejection, addiction, and anger. Louie says we need to fix our eyes on the size of your God, not the size of your giant. If you are struggling with any of these things, I encourage you...
