This is a question that I've asked, that I've heard other Christians ask, that I've even heard one unsaved person ask about another. But here goes...don't know if this has happened to some of you, but...I try something, to better my situation, some glitch occurs and I get defeated.I might "play my cards right", have a good plan. But even while I'm licking my wounds,I hear from a reliable source that some unsaved person into some pretty bad sins the thing I got jobbed out of, he easily got it!It could be financial, social, you name it.Now I used to think WE would have it better than THEM,because God is backing us.Yet they seem to surpass" us time and again. Why is this happening, is God passing up His own for some sinful unsaved...
Gen 18:14 "Is anything too hard for the Lord?"
The obvious answer is, " Of course not!" This question reveals much about God. Make it a habit to insert your specific needs into the question. " Is this day in my life too hard for the Lord?" "Is this habit Im trying to break too hard for him?" Asking the question this way reminds you that God is personally involved in your life and nudges you to ask for his power to help you. God's ability to restore life is beyond our understanding. Forest burn down and are able to grow back. Broken bones heal. Even grief is not a permanent condition. Our tears can be seeds that will grow into a harvest of joy because God is able to bring good out of tragedy. When burdened by sorrow, know that your times of grief will end and that you will again find joy. We must be patient as we wait. God's great harvest of joy is coming From Life Application Study Bible

Father, thank You for the funding, for the FDA allowing The 2nd U.S. vaccine to start phase one trials and the rest to follow. Thank you that chloroquine is working (though they don’t know exactly how is a little irrelevant at present given the conditions they are dying), as well as the remesedvir... We thank you for the other vaccines jn the U.S. and worldwide pipeline — bless the humans that have elected to do trial runs, continue to fast-track the products in the pipeline and beat the devil off these companies! Really... Does anyone think we are wrestling against mere flesh and blood? (Eph 6:11-12). Also please pray for the U.S. Economy. We may very well be the agent The Holy Spirit restrains antichrist with (2 Thes 2:6-7)— The Greek...
“Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves. Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing. Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭13:1-2, 5-7‬ ‭ https://www.bible.com/100/rom.13.1-2,5-7.nasb
God Call Us Out!
I would rather God call me out secretly when my heart is not right, or when I am wrong, or when I am in sin. So that I can repent, ask for forgiveness, walk in forgiveness, and pray for the desire, strength, and wisdom not to fall back into that same sin or wrong behavior. I would rather God call me out secretly than to be rebuked and disciplined openly by God because I would not listen to God speak to my heart to get it right. But as long as God calls me out so that I don't die in my sin, I know that everything is going to be alright. God calls us out because He loves us and He wants the best for us. He calls us out for our protection, our wellbeing, and our family’s protection and wellbeing. He calls us out so that we can...
There's something I don't understand here. When the disciples asked Jesus what the signs of the last days, preceding His coming would be, one of the things He said was, there will be pestilences.Very few Christians believe we are NOT in the last days, based on, increase in earthquakes, rise of false religions, etc. Now along comes coronavirus, a PESTILENCE. Fits right in with the words of Jesus. So if we knew these things would happen{the birth pangs},then why do I hear the reaction of many, maybe more than half, of the Christians on the site, all aghast, shocked, and sound even downright afraid? Is it that you didn't believe Jesus when He said there would be pestilences in the last days? When I hear the news about coronavirus, I'm not caught...
Matthew 28 Easter Prayer
“Do not be afraid," - God, I hand over to You those things that make me so afraid. Resurrect the parts of my faith squelched by fear. "I know that you are looking for Jesus," - God, when my soul is searching, help me know the answer to every longing can be found in You. "He has risen," - God, the fact that Jesus is risen should lift my head, my heart and my attitude. Help me to live today as if I really believe this with every part of my life. "just as he said," - Jesus, You keep Your promises. Help me live as though I believe that with every part of me. Help me trust You more, obey You more and resemble You more. "Come and see," - Jesus, You had the angels invite the women in to see for themselves that You had risen. You invite me into...
