For Unto You is Born This Day in the City of David A Saviour, which is Christ the Lord
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. - Luke 2:11 As we celebrate Christmas let us not forget the true meaning of it all. This day is one of two the two greatest days in regards to the community of faith. For on this day hope was born for all of mankind. The birth of Jesus ushered unto us the long-awaited promise of redemption for the curse of sin and death that has plagued us. Unconditional love and forgiveness are available to all who will humbly receive it. The opportunity to be restored and reunited with our creator and king has been freely given this day. Unspeakable joy and perfect peace to name but a few qualities await our decision. For on this day Jesus was born and so began the...
In celebrating this day, I pray that we all remember the reason for the season - JESUS. As you tear into your packages, gifts, and presents, please be reminded of the most precious gift of all, the gift of LOVE and REDEMPTION given through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A most powerful, yet fragile gift, it must be handled, and opened with the care of reverence and gratitude that is fitting such a precious and priceless offering, that its' contents may be preserved. Thank You LORD for providing the "The Gift of Life" wrapped up in Mary's precious baby. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! ❤🎁❤ .
God's word is true. It is eternal. It will happen everything Jesus predicted and this verse tells us the whole truth about His word. For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. Eccl. 3:1 Let us all turn our hearts toward the direction of Jesus. He is shining all over us when we start loving Him, praising Him, adoring Him. He is giving us a season to glorify His holy name. May the New Year be a season to honor and praise His name every single day, so God will be magnified in our life. O magnify the Lord with me. And let us exalt His name together. O magnify the Lord, And may His name be lifted up. Forever. Beautiful song of praise God almighty. He is the One who gives us a season to praise...
```markdown "Hand to the plow" So many, especially from the pulpit, have scorned me, through scripture, accusing me of being wicked because, in their opinion, I am not providing for my family. Yet and still, others, even as they themselves, preferring their families, run back to Egypt, seek to use this scripture to shift blame. While our opinions may sometimes be valid, the instructional Word of God supersedes all human understanding. Proper context: This is what Jesus said, within the context of family, to those who are called to follow Him. Luke 9:61-62 Still another said, "I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family." Jesus replied, "No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for...
Love Him, praise Him, adore Him wherever you are. Jesus went out His way and healed lepers, gave sight to blind, the lame walked, delivered possessed people from devils oppression. Great is the Lord and worthy of glory. He alone is the best doctor we can have on earth. Great is the Lord now lift up your voice, great is the Lord. Let us all rejoice in Him alone. He has come to heal our wounds, to take away all fears and tremblings coming out from the depths of our soul. Call on the Lord who worthy of all praise. Call on Him when you are full of pain and sorrow. He will take every thing that bothers you away and will bless your life. When those nights I lie awake. I think on what Jesus did for all of us. Taking away all our diseases and...
```html LACK OF UNDERSTANDING (and the foolishness thereof) I wanted to wait until after Christmas to speak on this subject. But because I recognize it as behavior based on the ill-advice of someone at the shelter from whence I was cast, I simply cannot bear witness as so many approach this season of Christ with such lack of understanding and irreverence. Does my frustration sometimes show? Of course it does; for which I repent and seek to do better. Jesus has never instructed anyone in the following behavior, for none of it is born of love. Moreover, to engage in it is an affront to the CHRIST we claim to know: Turning your back on even one of "the least of these." Matthew 25:40 And the King will make answer and say to them, Truly...
On this eve of CHRISTmas eve, as I bask in the glow of the sun, which only the Son can provide, I am reminded of His awesome wonder. Certainly He was subjected to accusation, mockery, torment, and even suffered a sinners grave: Did any of that foolishness render Him guilty? Nor will such atrocious behavior convict His disciples, whom He prophesied would suffer much of the same. Amen. BEAUTIFUL YOU ARE Thank You LORD for your Righteous judgement. Another translation; yet, the instruction remains the same: Isaiah 58:1 Make a loud cry, do not be quiet, let your voice be sounding like a horn, and make clear to my people their evil doings, and to the family of Jacob their sins. REPENT TURN YOUR BACKS ON YOUR REBELLION ❤ .
Jesus want us all happy and healthy during the holidays and in the future. With new viruses coming around we must avoid large gatherings. They are not safe even with those fully vaccinated with a booster shot. We want to thank God for life, for what we have right now but we must take good care of our own bodies. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We must thank God there are doctors and nurses warning us of what we should do to protect ourselves from getting anything that will harm our life. Close your eyes and say thank you Lord Jesus. For giving life. For protecting me from all kinds of viruses. You healed lepers. Gave sight to the blind. The lame walked. Deliverance from oppression came from You. We love You Lord today. We will...
