I’m asking you if you would pray for ###, my son, and uplift him in prayer and pass along. He apparently is addicted to marijuana or the vapes with the THC and it’s interacting with his autism medication and he’s gone into a pseudo psychological state of mental illness where he’s paranoid, etc. and we’re trying to get him into a treatment center we asked for prayer for ### and our family that God would bring peace, protection, and healing. Can coffee be an idol?

I feel like I'm the only person in the world who DOESN'T like coffee, but here goes. When people "crave" the morning cup of coffee and are addicted to it, and say they can't make it through the day, by them saying they need the coffee instead of God helping them through the day, is that a form of idolatry? Is idolatry just a statue? Isn't it anything we put before God?
