My mother suffered a thrombotic stroke at the end of January last year, which left the left side of her body paralyzed. In November, she was further diagnosed with stage IV nasopharyngeal cancer. Since mid-March this year, she has been in and out of the hospital, including two emergency visits due to urinary tract infections.
