🕊️Holy Spirit Conviction from SERMON TODAY... Jn16:18, Matrimonial Spouse Repents 2Pet 3:9 🙏 Godly Sorrow Produces Repentance unto Life 2Cor 7:10, Reconciliation 2Cor 5:20... Father, thank You "Even when we don't see it You're working, Even when we don't feel it You're working -- Never stops, Never stops working, Never stops, Never stops working" as the song sings, JUST as Jesus says, "My Father is always working even until now, and I, too, am working," Jn 5:17. 🙌 Father, for the sake of Your Word, Eph 5:32, Our vows, Ecclesiastes 5:2, and our offspring, Mal 2:15 -- Grant the free gift of godly sorrow producing a LASTING CHANGE OF HEART AND MIND, 2 Cor 7:10… I forgive that she did not honor her commitments to attend Bible Study, Church and Biblical Marriage Counseling WE AGREED to BEFORE I left My Home Country 🇺🇸 Nor her COMMITMENT to REBUILDING the relationship while I was there in Asia, but instead deserted me — “A righteous person keeps their promises even when it hurts,” Ps 15:4; and "Do not delay your vows to God -- He takes no pleasure in fools. Better to not vow than make God angry and destroy the work of Your hands, Ecclesiastes 5:4-6. "Let your 'yes' be 'yes,' (anything beyond that is evil, says Jesus), Matt 5:37. Release the CONVICTION of The Holy Spirit's righteousness, sin and judgement to come, John 16:18. I ask, as You will, that she would not PERISH but come to REPENTANCE, 2 Pet 3:9. Give Your angels charge over her, him, me, our pastors and prayer partners (including all those who pray and contribute financially's families) -- Grant salvation, 1 Tim 2:4, Acts 16:31-32, and keep us ALL grace to be set apart from sin as Your holy people, Ex 19:5-6, Lev 19:2, Lev 20:26, Zeph 3:13, Matt 5:48, 2 Cor 7:1, 2 Cor 13:7, Eph 1:4, 1 Thes 4:7, Heb 12:14, 1 Pet 1:16, 1 Jn 3:3, Rev 14:5. Keep us from temptation, evil, evil people and the evil one, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15 -- keep deception and lies far from us, Prov 30:8. Let trials draw us closer to You, encourage others, Phil 1:12, 2 Cor 1:6, Eph 6:20, and help incite fervency in our prayer, James 5:13-17, Help us study the Bible, 2 Tim 2:15. Open our minds to understand the Scriptures, Lk 24:45...

Let us rejoice in trials and count them joy, expediting worship, fasting, seeking, finding, reading, memorizing and writing words of edification and things that accompany salvation, and not shrink back from the warnings of Scripture, but let the Gospel go forth in times of peace and freedom, 1 Tim 2:1-4, and in the midst of opposition, 1 Thes 2:2. Sanctify us in the Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17. Let us hear Your voice, John 10:27, and always be lead by The Holy Spirit as children of God, Rom 8:14 as we are truly adopted children of God, John 1:14, 1 Jn 3:2-3, Let the Word of The Lord Spread RAPIDLY and BE GLORIFIED as YOU keep us from deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil, evil people and the evil one. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

We hear your heart’s cry for restoration in your marriage, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this situation before the throne of grace. Your desire for your spouse to experience the conviction of the Holy Spirit, leading to true repentance and lasting change, is deeply aligned with God’s heart. The Lord is indeed always working, even when we cannot see it, and His timing is perfect. We echo your prayer that He would move mightily in this situation, bringing godly sorrow that produces repentance unto life (2 Corinthians 7:10).

The vows made before God in marriage are sacred and binding, as Scripture declares: *"Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate"* (Mark 10:9). The breaking of commitments—whether to attend church, engage in biblical counseling, or rebuild the relationship—is a serious matter. The Word warns us, *"It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it"* (Ecclesiastes 5:5). Yet even in this, we must extend forgiveness, as Christ has forgiven us (Ephesians 4:32). Your willingness to forgive, despite the pain, reflects the heart of Christ and opens the door for reconciliation.

We rebuke the spirit of deception and hardness of heart that may be hindering your spouse from turning back to the Lord and to the covenant you both entered into. The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and we pray that this conviction would be so overwhelming that it leads to a broken and contrite heart (Psalm 51:17). The Lord is patient, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We stand on this promise, believing that God’s mercy is greater than any sin or failure.

We also lift up your own heart in this season. Trials are never easy, but they are opportunities to grow in faith and dependence on God. *"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance"* (James 1:2-3). We pray that you would find strength in the Lord, knowing that He is your refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Let this time draw you closer to Him, deepening your trust in His sovereignty and love.

For your marriage to be restored, both of you must seek the Lord wholeheartedly. We encourage you to continue praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), studying the Word (Psalm 119:105), and surrounding yourself with godly counsel (Proverbs 11:14). If your spouse is willing, biblical marriage counseling with a pastor or trusted Christian counselor could be a vital step toward healing. The goal is not merely to return to the way things were but to build a marriage that honors God, rooted in His truth and love.

We also address the importance of salvation in this matter. If your spouse has not placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, this is the foundational step toward true transformation. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). We pray that the Holy Spirit would draw your spouse to repentance and faith, that they may experience the new life that comes only through Jesus.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage before Your throne. Lord, You see the pain, the broken vows, and the longing for restoration. We ask that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit in convicting power upon this spouse, that they would experience godly sorrow leading to repentance. Break any hardness of heart, Lord, and replace it with a tender spirit that seeks You above all else.

Father, we pray for Your protection over this marriage. Guard both hearts from bitterness, unforgiveness, and the schemes of the enemy. Strengthen this brother in Christ, that he may stand firm in faith, trusting in Your promises. Help him to forgive as You have forgiven him, and to extend grace even in the midst of pain.

Lord, we ask that You would restore what has been broken. Heal the wounds, mend the trust, and rebuild this marriage on the foundation of Your Word. Let Your love be the cornerstone, and let Your truth guide every decision and interaction. If there are areas where sin has taken root—whether in neglect, unfaithfulness, or hardness of heart—we ask that You would uproot it and replace it with righteousness.

We pray for salvation, Lord. If this spouse does not know You as Savior, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Let them experience the life-changing power of the Gospel, that they may be born again and walk in newness of life. For those who already know You, we pray for revival—a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit that leads to holiness, obedience, and a deep love for You and one another.

Father, we ask that You would surround this couple with godly counsel and support. Raise up mentors, pastors, and friends who will speak truth in love and encourage them in their walk with You. Let Your Word spread rapidly in their lives, transforming their hearts and minds.

We trust in Your perfect timing, Lord. Even when we cannot see Your hand at work, we know that You are moving. Strengthen our faith, that we may not grow weary but continue to hope in You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen.

In this season, we encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May your marriage be a testimony to His redeeming love and power.

We're right there with you, dear friend, standing in the gap and lifting this situation up to our Heavenly Father. We echo your heart's cry for restoration and change, and we believe that God is already at work, even if we can't see it yet. We're praying for the Holy Spirit to convict your spouse's heart, bringing godly sorrow that leads to repentance and lasting transformation (2 Corinthians 7:10).

We're also reminded of God's unfailing love and faithfulness, even in the face of broken promises. As it's written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Let's extend forgiveness, as Christ has forgiven us, and trust that God can restore what's been broken.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, interceding for this marriage. We ask that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit, convicting [spouse's name] of their sin and drawing them to repentance. Help them to see the error of their ways and turn back to You and to the covenant they made before You.

Lord, we also ask for Your healing and restoration in this marriage. Mend the trust, rebuild the relationship, and let Your love be the cornerstone. Help both [your name] and [spouse's name] to seek You wholeheartedly, studying Your Word, and surrounding themselves with godly counsel.

We pray for salvation, Lord. If [spouse's name] doesn't know You as Savior, draw them to Yourself. Let them experience the life-changing power of the Gospel. For those who already know You, we pray for revival – a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit that leads to holiness, obedience, and a deep love for You and for each other.

Father, we trust in Your perfect timing. Even when we can't see Your hand at work, we know that You are moving. Strengthen our faith, that we may not grow weary but continue to hope in You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen.

Let's keep lifting this marriage up to the Lord, trusting that He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May your marriage be a testament to God's redeeming love and power.
