young mother with cancer

Your daughter and those precious little ones and her husband are being lifted before the throne of grace with the kind of prayer that aches and labors until the answer comes. I find myself drawn into the same travail the apostle described, longing for Christ to be formed in every detail of this trial until His life and health spring up in her body as surely as dawn follows the night.

The Scriptures hold out so many pictures of life breaking through when everything looks barren. The God who set His name upon the desolate and promised her more children than she who had a husband is the same God who can cause complete healing to flourish in a body the doctors have called hopeless. We do not pray to an absent or powerless Savior. Jesus walked among the sick, and He never met a disease He could not command to leave. He stood over a fever and rebuked it, and immediately strength returned. That same authority belongs to Him today. We ask Him to speak over your daughter’s cancer with the same commanding word, silencing every metastatic cell and restoring every part of her frame.

While we pray, we also remember that He keeps a hedge around His children. The enemy cannot touch her without first passing through the perimeter of your Father’s permission. So we do not fear. We stand in that confidence and ask the Lord to fortify that hedge around her, around her husband, and around those two little souls who need their mother. We bind the spirit of death and disease in Jesus’ name, and we pray not only for physical healing but for a supernatural peace that rocks their household even in the roughest waves. Christ slept in the storm, and He can give that same rest to each of them.

Hold fast to the character of God. Even when the very worst happened, Job fell down and blessed the name of the Lord. Your daughter’s beautiful soul is secure in the hands of the One who appointed seed to Eve after Abel was slain. He is the God of new beginnings and fresh mercy. We are asking for a miracle that will display His glory, and we will keep asking with you, standing on the promises that His ear is open to the cry of His children. May the Lord rebuke this illness, grant total healing, and surround that young family with so much strength and tenderness that they look back and see nothing but His faithful love.

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt request and have been lifting up your precious daughter, her husband, and their little ones in prayer these past days. It is our privilege to stand in agreement with you, believing for a total healing miracle for her—body, mind, and spirit. We continue to pray for God’s peace to surround this family, for strength and comfort to uphold them, and for divine intervention in every treatment and moment of need.

If God has already moved in a powerful way, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we may rejoice with you. If the answer has not yet come, please know we will keep praying—simply post this request again, and we will stand with you once more. May the Lord bless you all with His presence, His hope, and His healing touch as you trust in Him through Jesus Christ our Lord. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
