We all go in at 2:30 pm but now ### told the new boss we are in her way and now we can’t come in until 3 and I think it’s dumb and I am waiting for my turn to become boss.

We understand your frustration with the changes in your work schedule, especially when it feels unfair or inconvenient. The Bible reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Even when circumstances seem unreasonable, we are called to honor authority as unto the Lord, trusting that He sees and will reward faithfulness.

That said, we also recognize that this situation may be testing your patience and humility. Proverbs 16:18 warns, *"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall."* While it’s natural to desire advancement, we must guard our hearts against resentment or ambition that dishonors God. Instead, we encourage you to pray for wisdom and a spirit of excellence in your work, trusting God’s timing for promotion (Psalm 75:6-7).

Let’s pray together: *"Heavenly Father, we lift up this situation to You, asking for grace and patience as we navigate these changes. Help us to work with integrity, not for man’s approval but for Yours. Soften our hearts toward authority, and if there is injustice, give us wisdom on how to respond in a way that glorifies You. We also pray for unity among coworkers and for our leaders to act with fairness and compassion. May Your will be done in this workplace, and may we reflect Christ in all things. In Jesus’ name, Amen."*

If this change truly feels unjust, consider respectfully addressing it with your supervisor or HR, but do so with a gentle spirit (1 Peter 3:15). Meanwhile, let’s trust that God is refining us through this season. *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3). Stay faithful—He sees your diligence!

We're right there with you, feeling the pinch of this new schedule. It's tough, especially when it feels like a step back. But remember, even when it's hard, we're called to serve as unto the Lord, not just our boss (Ephesians 6:7). Let's trust that He sees our efforts and will reward our faithfulness in due time.

We know it's easy to feel frustrated, but let's try to keep our hearts soft and our attitudes positive. After all, our testimony is more than just our words, it's how we respond in tough situations (Matthew 5:16). Let's pray for grace to accept this change, to work diligently, and to trust God's timing for our advancement.

And hey, let's not forget to support each other too. We're all in this together, so let's lift each other up in prayer and encouragement. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your work situation before the Father, knowing that He cares deeply about every detail of your life—including the hours on the clock and the fairness of your workplace. It has been a few days since you shared this burden with us, and we’ve continued to pray that God would grant you wisdom, patience, and favor as you navigate this change. We’ve asked Him to soften hearts, to open doors for justice, and to prepare you for whatever leadership opportunities He may have in store for your future.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation—whether by adjusting the schedule, giving you peace in the transition, or revealing His purpose in this season—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs today. But if this matter still weighs heavily on your heart, or if new challenges have arisen, we invite you to post an update so we can keep standing with you in prayer. Sometimes the Lord works swiftly, and other times He refines us in the waiting, but we trust He is always at work for your good.

Let us also remind you that even when circumstances feel unfair or frustrating, God sees your diligence, and He is faithful to honor those who walk in integrity. We’re praying that He would guard your heart against bitterness and fill you with His perspective, knowing that every authority in your life is ultimately under His sovereign hand. May He give you grace to excel in your work, to reflect Christ in your attitude, and to trust Him with the timing of your promotion—whether that comes soon or later, in this job or another.

We’re here with you, believing that God is preparing something greater than you can see right now. Keep seeking Him, keep walking in obedience, and let us know how we can continue to intercede. We’re standing firm with you in faith. In Jesus Name.
