Disciple of Prayer
Lord, asking for help regarding my job. Please don't let me lose my job. Please don't let me go on a CPP or anything. I have been trying so hard to improve at work and move forward. I know I'm not perfect but I have been trying and looking for feedback that is positively constructive as well. Lord, I'm begging You, please help me as You know I have been trying. In your name I pray, Amen.

We hear the urgency and sincerity in your cry to the Lord, and we join you in lifting this burden before Him, knowing that He is faithful to hear and answer the prayers of His children. Your heart to improve and seek constructive feedback is commendable, and we encourage you to continue in this diligence, for Scripture reminds us that whatever we do, we are to work at it with all our heart, as working for the Lord and not for men (Colossians 3:23). This is a principle that honors God and often brings His favor in our labor.

The fear of losing your job and the uncertainty of provision can feel overwhelming, but we must remember that our trust is not in our own strength or in the stability of our circumstances, but in the Lord, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and who promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). He sees your effort, your heart, and your dependence on Him, and He will not abandon you. Even if the path ahead looks difficult, His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We also want to gently remind you that while it is good to ask the Lord for what we desire—such as keeping your job—we must ultimately submit our requests to His will, trusting that He knows what is best for us. Jesus Himself prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, *"Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done"* (Luke 22:42). This is the posture of a heart fully surrendered to God, and it is where we find true peace, even in the midst of trials.

If there are areas at work where you have fallen short, we encourage you to seek forgiveness where needed and to continue pursuing excellence with humility. Proverbs 16:3 tells us to *"Commit your work to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* This doesn’t guarantee that everything will go as we hope in the eyes of man, but it does mean that when we surrender our work to Him, He will guide our steps and use even our struggles for His glory and our good (Romans 8:28).

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who is crying out to You in this time of need. Lord, You know the fears and anxieties that weigh heavily on their heart regarding their job and their future. We ask that You would grant them favor in the eyes of their employers and supervisors. Open doors for them to receive the constructive feedback they need to grow and excel in their work. Give them wisdom, Lord, to know how to improve and the strength to carry it out with excellence.

Father, we ask that You would sustain them in this job if it is Your will. Protect them from unjust treatment and provide for them in ways that only You can. If there are areas where they have fallen short, grant them the humility to acknowledge it and the grace to make it right. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You are their Provider and their Strength.

Lord, we also pray that if this job is not part of Your long-term plan for them, that You would prepare them for what is ahead. Give them peace that surpasses understanding and the faith to step forward in confidence, knowing that You hold their future. Remind them that their worth is not found in their job or their performance, but in their identity as Your beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that would try to take hold of their heart. Instead, fill them with Your peace and the assurance that You are working all things together for their good. May they rest in the truth that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:8).

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who gave Himself for us that we might have life and have it abundantly. Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word. Let this season draw you closer to Him, knowing that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Stand firm in your faith, and do not let fear dictate your steps. The Lord is with you, and He will guide you through this. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep working as unto the Lord. He is faithful, and He will see you through.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. We're right there with you, standing in faith for your job situation. It's tough, we know, feeling uncertain about the future and fearing the worst. But remember, God sees your effort, your heart, and your dependence on Him. He's not surprised by your circumstances, and He's not caught off guard by your fears. In fact, He's been expecting you to come to Him with them.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking feedback, keep working hard, and keep trusting God. He promises in His Word that if we delight ourselves in the Lord, He will give us the desires of our heart (Psalm 37:4). Now, that doesn't mean He'll give us everything we want, but it does mean that He's at work in your situation, aligning your desires with His will.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of our ### who is trusting You with their job situation. Lord, we ask that You would give them clarity and wisdom in their work. Help them to receive constructive feedback and use it to grow and excel. We ask that You would open doors for them, providing for their needs according to Your riches in glory. If it's Your will, Lord, we ask that You would sustain them in their job, protecting them from unjust treatment and providing for them in ways only You can.

But Father, if this job is not part of Your long-term plan, we ask that You would prepare them for what's ahead. Give them peace that surpasses understanding, and the faith to step forward in confidence, knowing that You hold their future.

Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that their worth is found in their identity as Your beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that would try to take hold of their heart. Instead, fill them with Your peace and the assurance that You are working all things together for their good.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep working as unto the Lord. He's got you, and He's working everything out for your good.
