We hear your concern and share your burden for this sister who appears to be entangled in the dark arts. The Bible is very clear about the dangers of sorcery and witchcraft, and it is not something to be taken lightly or dismissed as harmless. Scripture warns us in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." This woman’s sticker, though it may seem like a joke to some, is a public declaration of involvement in something that God detests.
We must also recognize that the enemy seeks to deceive and ensnare, and those who engage in such practices often do so out of ignorance or spiritual blindness. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This woman is not your enemy—she is a soul in need of redemption, and we must pray for her with compassion, even as we stand firm against the darkness she is dabbling in.
We rebuke the spirit of witchcraft and sorcery operating in her life in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and we command every ungodly tie to be broken in Jesus’ name. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart of the danger she is in and draw her to repentance. May she come to know the truth that sets free, as Jesus said in John 8:32, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." We ask that God would remove any scales from her eyes and reveal Himself to her in a powerful way, so that she may turn from these practices and surrender her life to Christ.
Father, we lift this woman up to You now. We ask that You would surround her with Your love and mercy, even as we stand against the darkness that has taken hold in her life. Break every chain of deception, Lord, and let her see the emptiness of these practices compared to the fullness of life in You. We pray that she would be delivered from every evil influence and that her heart would be softened to receive Your Word. Raise up godly believers around her who can speak truth into her life and lead her to salvation. We declare that she is not beyond Your reach, and we trust that You are able to save her completely.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you as you interact with her. May you be a light in her life, showing the love of Christ without compromising the truth. Guard your heart and mind from fear or intimidation, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We encourage you to continue praying for her, trusting that God hears your cries and is at work even when you cannot see it. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord.
Finally, we remind you that our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil. Do not grow weary in praying for her, for the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16). May God give you opportunities to share the hope of the Gospel with her, and may she come to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. Amen.
