Please support me with prayers. May the Heavenly Father resurrect and restore - my heart, my soul, my life, my faith, my hope and my joy... in the Name of Jesus Christ! I pray again (as before) to laugh, to rejoice, to hope.... may God look mercifully upon me... and act... for His glory, in the Name of Jesus Christ.Humanly this is impossible, but the Word of God says that with God all things are possible.... We hear your cry for restoration and rejoice that you have come before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. Your words echo the truth of Scripture: "Jesus said to him, 'If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.'" (Mark 9:23). Indeed, with God, nothing is impossible, He is the God who raises the dead, heals the brokenhearted, and restores what has been lost.

Yet we must also speak truth in love, for restoration begins with alignment to God’s will. The Word declares, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9). Have you examined your heart before the Lord? Are there areas of sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness that may be hindering His full work in you? The psalmist cried, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me." (Psalm 51:10). Let us not presume upon God’s mercy while harboring unrepentance, for "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." (James 4:6).

We also note your prayer invokes the Heavenly Father, yet all our access to Him is through the blood of Jesus Christ. There is no other mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved (Acts 4:12) and can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). Let us never take for granted the costly gift of salvation purchased by Christ’s sacrifice.

Now, let us pray together in faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. We lift up this dear one who cries out for resurrection and restoration. Lord, You see the depths of their heart, the weariness, the longing, the places where hope has dimmed. We ask You to breathe new life into their soul, as You did for Ezekiel’s valley of dry bones (Ezekiel 37:1-14). Restore their joy, strengthen their faith, and let Your peace rule in their heart.

Father, we ask You to search them and know them (Psalm 139:23-24). Reveal any area of sin, idolatry, or disobedience that may be blocking Your blessings. Grant them the courage to repent and the grace to walk in holiness. Forgive them, cleanse them, and renew a steadfast spirit within them.

Lord, we declare that You are the God of the impossible. Where human strength fails, Your power is perfected (2 Corinthians 12:9). We ask You to act mightily for Your glory, that this one may laugh again, hope again, and rejoice in Your goodness. Let Your light shine in their darkness, and may they testify to Your faithfulness.

We rebuke every spirit of despair, fear, and unbelief that would seek to steal their hope. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. May this one walk in the fullness of Your promises, trusting in Your perfect timing and sovereign will. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Take heart, dear one. The God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Lazarus from the dead, and who conquered sin and death on the cross is the same God who hears your prayer. Wait on Him, for "those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31). Walk in obedience, stand on His promises, and watch as He moves mightily in your life. You are not forgotten, He is working even now.

We hear the ache in your words, the deep longing for a heart to laugh again, for hope to rise, for life to feel alive. It takes real courage to keep whispering, “With God all things are possible,” while everything inside feels so drained and heavy. You are not pretending; you are clinging to a lifeline, and that in itself is an act of faith that pleases the Father.

We want you to know you are not alone in this wait. We are praying with you, and we’ll keep bringing these needs before the Lord. One of the most sustaining gifts we can receive when our own strength is gone is the sure knowledge that others are carrying us before the throne. If you haven’t already, consider letting a few trusted believers in your church or small group know what you are facing, so they can pray with you, not just for you. That kind of steady, tangible support can be like a rope when the pit feels deep.

Hope often begins as a tiny flicker, an act of the will before it becomes a feeling. Each time you turn your face toward the Father and name what you need, you are kindling that flame, even if you don’t feel it yet. Keep asking for resurrection: for your heart, your faith, your joy. He is not far off. He breathes life into dry bones and calls what seems dead to live.

We pray now: Lord Jesus, see our friend with deep compassion. Where there is numbness, pour out Your life. Restore hope, rekindle faith, and release even a small seed of joy. Lift the heavy blanket and let light break in. Do what only You can do, for Your glory. Amen.

You have laid hold upon a great truth, and it is the key to every dungeon wherein a soul may languish: “With God all things are possible.” That word has sustained multitudes in the deeps of despair, and it will bear you up. You feel it is humanly impossible that your heart, your faith, your hope, your joy should revive, they are as dry bones in a valley, very many and very dry. But what is impossible with man is possible with God. He who spoke the worlds into being out of nothing can speak life into that dead heart of yours. Your cry itself is a token that the Spirit is brooding over the chaos, and light shall come.

I would not have you say, “There is no hope,” and then go on in the devices of a despairing heart. That is the ruin of many, they make their hopelessness an excuse for continuance in sin, or for neglect of the means of grace. But you are not so; you are pleading, and a pleading soul is a living soul. The very desire for resurrection proves there is something within that responds to the voice of God. He will come and take away the heart of stone, and give you a heart of flesh. He will restore unto you the joy of His salvation; the joy of the Lord shall be your strength again. You say you long to laugh, to rejoice, to hope. This is not the language of one utterly dead in trespasses. There is hope in your very hopelessness, a holy discontent with your present state which is the dawn of better things.

Look to Peter. He fell low, very low; but the Lord looked upon him, and that look pierced his heart. It was a painful prick, but it led to his healing. The heart that cannot feel its own hardness, yet mourns because it cannot mourn, is not far from the kingdom. Pray on, wait on, look to Jesus. Do not search within for a hope to patch up, but fix your gaze without, upon the bleeding Sacrifice. There is your hope, your joy, your resurrection. As surely as Christ rose from the dead, so surely can He raise your soul out of the grave of despondency. Keep at the foot of the Cross, however faint your sight of Him. The faintest touch of faith will bring healing in its wings.

I pray for you now, that the Father would indeed resurrect and restore all that seems lost, for His own glory’s sake. He can do it, He will do it, for He delights in mercy. May this very hour be a resurrection morning to you, and may you yet sing with gladness of heart: “I will praise You every day; now Your anger’s turned away, comfortable thoughts arise from the bleeding Sacrifice.” The God who can raise the dead can raise you. Trust in Him. Amen.

To afflict yourself in this manner, as though your heart, your hope, your joy were utterly lost beyond recovery, is to grieve as those who have no hope. You recall the truth that with God all things are possible, and indeed this is the very foundation of our comfort. Yet consider: to lament without ceasing, as if the resurrection of your soul were a thing past and impossible, is to act like those who know nothing of the Resurrection. For a soul that thinks spiritual death is final naturally bewails its state as one utterly lost. But you, who expect restoration, why do you despair? The Lord Himself, after His own Resurrection, gave peace to men because of their war, and joy to women because of their sorrow. All hindrances were removed, and His victory was made glorious. This same peace and joy He offers to you now, to counterbalance the war within your members.

Do not mistake the nature of your request. You speak of your heart, your soul, your faith, your joy. These are not substances far from you; the soul is often called spirit, heart, and mind even within Scripture itself, as when we pray, "Create in me a clean heart, O God." When you plead for the resurrection of your heart, you are pleading for your very soul to be revived from its numbness. This numbness, as the winter's hoar frost, often comes upon the unthankful, benumbing the soul. But you are not called to that. You are called to abound in hope, not merely to hold a sliver of it. For if we abound in hope, we are filled with joy even in troubles, and in this way, we draw the Spirit to us. The cause of all good things is hope, and it comes from the Holy Ghost, yet on condition that we also contribute our part. So believe. Do not merely say the words, "with God all things are possible," but let your mind be instructed while your mouth sings of good deeds.

Mary stood weeping without the sepulcher, and her great zeal was rewarded. She received comfort and saw angels, and finally, the Lord Himself, because her feeling soul inclined to pity and would not be torn from the place. Even so, your very longing and repeated prayer are not things God despises. Do not think it strange that you struggle. How much more does He desire to give you the joy that no man takes from you? Therefore, receive this consolation and let this truth be louder in your inner ear than your present desolation. Rise from the tomb of your despair; let your hope be no longer dead. The resurrection of your inner man is not past, but a present power. Stand fast in the Lord, and we live with you and rejoice with you, for whether one member is honored, all the members rejoice. May you indeed laugh, rejoice, and hope again, for this is to His glory, and it is in the Name of Jesus Christ that this restoration comes.

Your heart’s cry is heard in the throne room of heaven. When hope feels like dry dust and joy has become a distant memory, it is precisely then that faith does its deepest work. You are right: with God all things are possible. He does not need our strength or perfect understanding to act. But what He often desires is to reveal to us what is in our own hearts, and to strip away every false support so that we learn to trust His love alone.

Consider how Job sat in ashes, feeling that even a tree had more hope than he did. Yet the Lord had not abandoned him. The friends who came with easy formulas and accusations that his suffering must be due to hidden sin or a lack of faith were wrong. God allows rain to fall on the just and the unjust; illness and sorrow and spiritual dryness do not always come because we have failed to name or claim the right things. Sometimes the Lord leads us into a wilderness to prove us, to show us whether we will cling to Him when all the feelings of hope and joy have evaporated. That is not cruelty. It is the refining of a love that is real.

The very fact that you are crying out for resurrection, for your heart, soul, life, faith, hope, and joy to be restored, shows that the Spirit is at work. The hypocrite’s hope perishes, but the upright in heart, even when they stumble, reach for God. Your request is not the prayer of a hypocrite. It is the prayer of someone whom God has set His heart upon, someone He is teaching to find hope in His character rather than in circumstances.

So do not despise this season of emptiness. The Lord promised that a bruised reed He will not break. Your human impossibility is the raw material for His glory. Cling to what you already know: He is merciful, He sees you, and the risen Christ is your living hope. Our hope does not go down to the bars of the grave; it is anchored within the veil, where Jesus has entered for us. Though you cannot yet laugh or rejoice, you can rest in His finished work, knowing that restoration will come in His time and in His way.

May the Heavenly Father strengthen you with might in your inner being. May you discover that His grace is sufficient, and that even in the darkness, His word is a light. The day is coming when He will fill your mouth with laughter and your tongue with singing once again. Until then, let your faith be accounted as righteousness as you trust Him who raises the dead. He will do it, for His glory, in the name of Jesus Christ.
